Good times great captain and first mate. Hot an the fish really quick and caught quite a bit

My family and I had an awesome day of fishing on the Shooting Star. We caught tons of fish! The boat was really nice and the captain and crew were really friendly. We were deciding between different fishing charters and picked this due to the experience that the captain and crew had fishing. We definitely made the right choice. We came back into port with about 10 of big bonitos,small black fin tuna, and a big (30lb) king mackerel. And we threw a lot more fish back! When we arrived we were expecting to see all the other boats with fish as well, but no! We were the only ones that had caught fish that day. These are the people that catch fish even when no one else is. The fun was well worth the expense. Great time fishing!!!!!!

Six of my family members and I went on this boat this morning for a four hour trip and they weren’t very friendly at all to us! The first mate was very upset when he had to change the bait it was a very negative experience! Go somewhere with friendly service! We even got cussed at as we pulled away in our vehicle because the first mate was upset we didn’t give him a 20% tip for doing nothing for us. We paid 689$ for our trip and they expected more when we caught three fish! Three of us never even touched a pole!

Captain not very concerned about poor excuse of a 1st mate 65 years old and angry at everything, he ate no joke 4 times on a 730am-1130am. and complained at everything the captain asked him to do... so of course we did not tip him and as we drove away he was yelling THANKS FOR THE TIP HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD TIMEGO ANY PLACE ELSEWE CAUGHT 3 FISH 6 FISHERMAN 4 HOURS...

This boat is disgusting and does not have ac as advertised. The captain was nice but was not concerned at all about putting us on fish. We asked multiple times to please stop trolling and just take us to a place where my boys could bottom fish. The entire trip they complained about the seaweed causing the fish not to bite but were unwilling to change their method. We finally just asked to return to the dock. Very disappointed.

Very unprofessional experience. Went on a charter today with my family and will never go with this charter again. We were treated like we were a bother the entire time on the boat by the helper on board named Billy. He acted like chaning lures, reeling in the pole, helping the captain was a problem. He ate the etire time we were trying to fish and literally sat down and had time to fall asleep while we where trying to fish. Felt very uncomfortable and unappreciated the entire 4 hours. Pick a diffrent charter to go fishing. A $650 charter is $689 with taxes and fees and its an extra $40 for bait that we were never told about when making our reservation. And then they expected a $150 to $200 tip was expected at the end. When we informed them that we would not be tipping the captain and Billy both started screaming and cussing at us while we were trying to exit in our vehicle. Please shop with someone that makes you feel welcome.

Ive been on the boat five times and its usually to impress friends visiting from out-of-town. On one trip we saw a super mega pod of porpoises covering a few miles of ocean. Not often you get to see thousands of bottle-nose dolphin in one area. Captain Dave is great and knows his way around for the best reef and deep sea fishing. Eventually Id like to go on one of his night charters to bag some big game fish. Its on my bucket list.....along with a dive trip to Palau with Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Captain Dave...make that charter happen.

Our family spent the day on the Sooting Star. The boat was clean. The staff were great to everyone. They were encourging. If you want a day of fun and excitement. Shooting Star is the boat for you.
