Good trip over all but Capt. Paul needs to chill out on the yelling. He contradicts himself, and was annoying as hell when trying to fight a fish. Chris however was an excellent deck hand and I feel like he contributed more to our success than the captain. The fish we caught were excellent quality, and we ended the trip with a sailfish so that was awesome. Overall I would fish again with fishing headquarters but not with Capt. Paul .

Captain Andre and First Mate Joey knew what they were doing. They were professional and knowledgeable, able to answer any questions the others or I had.Even though it was a slow day they made the sport fishing charter trip an experience of a lifetime. I will definitely be using this charter again.

Went out this past Sunday for a bachelor party fishing trip, and had a absolute blast. Andrew was awesome, super knowledgeable, willing to help and on top of his game. He had us catching fish all day. I total we caught 13 fish. The highlight being a beautiful 60lb amber jack. I will absolutely recommend your charter to others and hope to head out again soon. Hard to believe for the price you are fishing in the ocean with everything needed.The staff is great, very helpful.We caught a few fish they cleaned them up and a few hours later we were eating fresh fish at a restaurant that we caught.

I had no idea the mate/helper on the boat works for tips. Ours “Rick” was amazing. Just wanted to warn everyone to bring cash with you.Great fishing trip - we all caught something. Had a blast.

My family went on the night anchor trip and had a great time! There is free parking when you get there, but it is a little tight. Youll check in at the little kiosk then get on the boat. You have your pick of seats and the mates will come around and get your rods set up and explain how to use them. Our mates were John and Andrew and they were fantastic! They helped with putting bait on, taking fish off, and anything else you needed. We didnt catch a ton of fish, but anytime there was something interesting the mates brought it around the boat (we saw a remora). Plus the sunset was beautiful. Make sure to bring cash to tip the mates. An old rag/towel and wet wipes or hand sanitizer is also recommend if youre going to bait the hooks yourself. We definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to do a fishing charter.

Wow what a trip, we have used Fishing Headquarters in Ft Lauderdale for the last two times for our outting. Andrew is an absolute pro, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We are looking forward to doing this again and will definitely be requesting the same crewman. We actually caught a 7 or 8 ft sailfish along with some massive barracuda.

Went for the morning charter. Great price, caught a couple of snappers. The fish weren’t really biting. The rods are very heavy action (probably 5ft) and super thick. It was very difficult to feel a bite. Bait provided was great (squid, and sardines). The views were great, and so was the crew.

We had a blast!! This charter was very easy to book and delivered everything it advertised!! Capt. Jimmy and First-mate K are great at what they do... they were very personable and had us hooked up they entire 4hr. charter! I highly recommend them and Fishing Headquarters!

We had a great time! Went on the boat Catch my Drift. Caught at least 20 fish or so. All staff were friendly but Trevis was our fav. He was very helpful, attentive, and fun. Great vibes all around. We will definitely do this again when we come back in town! Fantastic evening! 🎣🐠🐟

This was an interesting experience. The people are very friendly, the boat service was excellent and it was definitely a fishing expedition. However, for the random traveler and visitor, I don’t know if this would be the right adventure for a family. One thing to note is that the back of the boat is filled with all of the regulars and they are the ones who are reeling in all of the fish. Everyone else situated around the boat caught almost nothing. They provide you with all of the equipment and bait but whatever the regulars were using was attracting all of the fish. Additionally, you will want to make absolute certain that you go out on a day where it is not windy or wavy. The boat is sizable but when you anchor up to fish in different spots, be ready for the large swells and the continual rocking up and down. There were a number of people that were sick or throwing up and they will not go back until the time is up. If you are interested in having an experience that is more catered to understanding the ocean and getting more fish, you might want to do a smaller charter which obviously is more expensive.All in all though, very friendly people and we learned a lot.

It was the first time deep sea fishing for me and a group of friends. We got skunked for the first couple hours of trolling, but Bobby our Captain changed tactics, put us on structure and we ended up catching a monster nurse shark. Mick the deckhand had us all fired up and losing our minds. It was amazing, would love to do it again.

This was my first time fishing on a boat in the ocean. I love fishing, and this truly was an awesome experience! Everyone caught fish..some more than others, but they were biting good. I caught the biggest fish on the boat! It was so exciting and hard to reel in, but the crew helped to guide me on reeling it in. My husband helped me to reel it in after my hands got tired. That fish definitely put up a fight! The crew that worked was great! Ill definitely be coming here when I visit this area again!

Capt Rob and Mate Chris were great. Between 6 people, 12 fish were caught. 10 that were edible. Everyone brought home a decent amount of fish. Fun day and will do again.

Even though it was one of the slower months for fishing, we still caught a nice variety of fish. The Captain and Crew on the Catch my Drift were unbelievably helpful and friendly and the boat itself was also clean and comfortable. My wife and I had an amazing time! IMPORTANT - Dont be like me and pay $15 for parking, go to the check in booth FIRST, and ask where you should park and get a pass. :)

Cant say enough great things. Absolutely incredible hospitality skills. Every single person was awesome. From the couple people from phone calls and who we pay to the Captain and mates, they were absolutely wonderful, helpful, polite and more. Every person affiliated with the entire boat at multiple points spent time chatting with us and always there with any help or questions... AND to make sure we were all having fun! Just cant say enough great things about the people. They obviously care a great deal about providing a fun, safe, clean and over-all great experience for their guests on board.

Me and my husband was on our honeymoon coming from Pennsylvania and we love fishing, but weve never done deep sea fishing so we tried it, in this 4hrs trip I didnt catch anything my line was getting tangled with other peoples we didnt go in deep as I thought the only thing I enjoyed was the ride.. its not guarantee to catch fish so people dont get our Hopes up I was disappointed but at least I got to see Daulphins.. my husband caught 2 small ones and one Dangerous species, then it died cause the kid who worked there took to long to take out of the hook.. wont do it again if youll asked me.. stop taking guests to dry fishing spots..

Crew was friendly. About 45 people in the drift fishing boat. I think we caught about 10-12 fish total. That means 75 percent of people didnt catch a fish. I hope other days were better but I can only review my experience. I liked Ryan. Overall there was minimal instruction on technique, but Im not sure how much there is to know. They were good about showing off the fish that were caught so you at least got to see some fish. I was late April, morning trip 8:30-12:30.

Ive been out with these guys 3 times now.They work very hard to make sure you catch fish.All 3 times i caught several fish that i have never caught before, bull shark, vermilion,Barracudas, black fin tuna, king mackerel, mahi mahi, and lots of bonita.I had a great time and definitely look forward to going back

Experience of a life-time! Went out on shared charter with 2 other couples. All of us were able to catch some fish. Husband even ended up reeling in an 101 inch bullshark!!! It was HUGE and put up quite the fight... you end up strapped in a chair even, as you reel it in. Crew was knowledgeable and were very happy to answer all the questions I could think up. They both worked great as a team and were in good spirits, joking around with everyone the entire trip. Extremely reasonable prices to go out!!! They mentioned once they work off tips at the very beginning, as they dont own the boat and never mentioned it again. No pressure from them to tip, unlike all the other tour guides we came across on other activities in the Fort Lauderdale area. Hands down would reccomend this company even if we didnt catch the catch of a lifetime!

Never caught anything, lol but they said February isnt the best fishing season. Im not really into fishing this was my husbands thing. I never expected it would be so fun and the guys running the show were great. They let you smoke and drink beer (no liquor) on the boat. We will come back thats for sure. Wish I carried more cash to tip them better, they deserve it. The birds that fly along side the boat was an added plus. Right along with the trip through idk, would you call it millionaires row maybe. Beautiful mansions along the way.

Wow! We went on the 1-5pm trip on the Big Game with Mick and Brett. We’ve never been deep sea fishing and these guys really made our trip worth every penny. Mick was great. You can tell he loves his job. My boyfriend and I searched all over the internet and called so many places before we agreed on Fishing Headquarters and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

The captain tried hard to catch fish but I didn’t catch nothing, because he choose who is going to get the fish each time they bite, so even I was helping his assistant all the time and the other people was drinking , chatting with the captain upstairs, he chose by finger each time, so From 6 people, he left to the end myself and another guy and we got nothing , wasted money, just worked for him for free, but he didn’t forgot to ask 20% tip at the beginning of the trip, so no tip for him.He should give one pole to each person or every two person, and good luck, not choosing people to fish when he want and who he want

Many fish caught and John went out of his way to make sure others guest got to see the catch and tell us the type of fish (for new bees) as he checked the legal size of the certain fish caught. Had an amazing experience with Rod and Andrew on the Big Game. They both have a ton of experience of fishing and were a great help. Had a ton of knowledge of where to go and what baits to use. My girlfriend came off with some tuna dinner for the night. 1000% will go back out on the Big Game for some more fishing fun!

A few years ago my family and I went out on the Catch my Drift or the Mary B and caught more fish than we could eat. We shared the extra. Ive gone a few times since then and have been disappointed because I could only catch one or two fish. I dont know if its the reefs and wrecks their close in but I have seen other boats coming back to the docks full of fish. On the latest drift fishing excursion the entire boat came back with less than a bucket full of fish. My friends and I are going to just pay extra for their private deep sea trip so that we can get a guarantee to catch more fish

A GOOD TIME FISHING off the Coast of FORT LAUDERDALE At night !

Great trip. We went out on COB-TOO with Captain Rod and First Mate Mick and his son Mick, Jr. It was a rough day on the water but these guys delivered and were a blast to be with the entire way. There were 5 of us on a morning 4 hour deep sea trip. We started by catching about a dozen tuna and bonito. Everyone reeled in a few in the first two hours and we had double ups a few times. At this point, we decided we had caught plenty mid-sized fish and we all agree to go after the bigger stuff with live bait. After we navigated further south, we put out some live bait and pulled in some nice sized Mahi. Mick carved them up after into equal piles and I put mine on heavy ice in a small cooler and flew home to NV with about 10 lbs of tuna and mahi-mahi. Carved it up the next day, raw on the tuna and smoked the mahi-mahi. BAM! What a great day! Ill be back.

This is the boat of my choice for fishing in South Florida. I tried to book a morning trip yesterday morning but they were all booked up so I had to go on the Flamingo. That was absolutely a mistake I should have stayed home and booked on the catch my drift for a different date. All the captain and mates are very friendly and professional and they put us on the fish every time. You dont catch an excessive amount of fish every single time but they give you a good opportunity at least. And also they treat you like a paying customer. The people running the flamingo take you for a four-hour boat ride and treat you like s***! I would recommend the Catch My Drift over any other drift fishing boat in South Florida!

Everyone on the boat including me puked the whole time of the trip. I seen some cool fish that other people caught but the waves were strong and could barely stand up and fish at the same time. You can’t hold your own fish, they will take it and throw it back in themselves. If you think you will get seasick you will definitely get sea sick on this boat! Workers were cool though.

Great affordable price , went drift fishing. Caught a few fish. People there really nice. Will definitely look forward to next trip.

Caught some little guys during the afternoon on a nice day. Perfect weather and the crew was enthusiastic and helpful. This was our first time deep sea fishing and we had a blast. You can bring beverages and snacks on board, and I recommend finishing those before you drop your first line as your hands will be fishy! The crew will filet your fish for you afterwards and appreciates cash tips. Cant wait to come back!

Fishing headquarters was a great experience.There is one irrefutable law of the outdoors and outdoor sporting activities like fishing.You can’t control the weather.I honestly can’t believe we caught the fish we did with the conditions we were out in.Having been on dozens of charter boats, I could tell how hard our team was working for us.Changing currents, random waves, and a rolling boat deck made just getting lines out and fishing a challenge, but our captain and mate were an excellent team that were in constant motion trying to get us fish.Rather than stay in, we went out 15 miles to find the bite, then stayed out a little extra time to try and get a few more fish. We wound up with 5 on, 3 in the boat, and a great deal of conversation and entertainment.I would certainly recommend the shared charter. Next time I will also try their party fishing boat.

I have been fishing with this company for years and they have went down hill it’s obviously hard to find good help the first mate is a young punk that needs to go to a fast food place and get off the boat!!I will never fish with them again!!

Great experience! My son loves to fish and I wish i shared that love, so bringing him on this made it so enjoyable. From check in to hitting the fish... taking all the pictures. They provided everything for the trip like gear etc and my son wanted to bring his new fishing pole (still in package and not put together) and without hesitation the girl at the counter put it together for him! Friendly staff and all around good time. Did a Sunday trip at 1:30pm and it was wonderful. Plus FREE PARKING! Wish I could give this TEN stars!!

I caught a fish that I lured in with my vomit. I had a great time. My mother had a great time to.

Was overrcharged on ticket price per person and mates gave the fish I caught to someone else. Not the first time this has happened. During the trip if you catch any fish they will put them in the ships cooler after the trip if you caught a decent fish they will give it away to their regulars.

Andrew was the best! Really showed us the ropes and we had a time far better than we could have imagined. Phil was a great captain and knew the waters like no other. Could not recommend enough.
