I discovered Michaels shop thanks to all the reviews here and was not disappointed ! He was super prompt to assist me with my rear AC for my van conversion and gave me great advices too. I was so happy with his service that I will only go back to him now and get my heater from his shop ! Also going to send my van conversion friends there as it is rare to find such a good service.

Great work and honest. Needed a new compressor and Condenser on my 04 Lexus sc430 and they had it done in just a few hours with OEM parts for a good price.Three weeks later, my 09 Escalade ESV was having issues with the AC cutting in and out. Instead of having to shell out hundreds on a new compressor, they made a slight adjustment to the compressor and now the Escalade is good to go for only 50 bucks.10/10 would recommend 👍

Michael the owner is young smart personable guy and an AC Wizard who does amazing work and has, in my mind, pretty magical pricing compared to any Honda Dealership or anyplace else for that matter.I have a 2012 Honda CRV bought new and always serviced at the dealer. Yesterday my AC quit and as all Floridians know good vehicle AC is a nonnegotiable part of Florida summers!Honda wanted $160.oo for diagnosis only and if your unit is shot you are going to spend North another $1,700.oo.Wow...thats a hard pill to swallow so I Googled AC Near me like most new AC sticker shocked people and Placeta AC popped up and I started reading the Google reviews. To my delight I thought these reviews were too good to be true... so I called Placetas. Michael answered and I said I read your reviews and can he look at my AC for free. He said can I be there in 45 minutes...Yep I said and off I went.His place is in an industrial park and not a very high profile area with a ton of street traffic and overhead. However, its the perfect place to work on Big Rigs, Pick up trucks, Motor Coaches and Cars. Michael does it all when it comes to vehicle AC.Just remember... I said Michael is a true bonafide AC Wizard!When I arrived Michael motioned me to pulled in and popped the hood... He then said leave it running and turn on the AC please. I did as he instructed and by the time I shut the car door I heard Michael say I see your problem.Walking to the front of the car I found Michael leaning over the compressor with a flashlight and he said come here and tell me what you smell? I said, it smells a bit burnt. He said yes it does! Than he said see the pulley wheel on the compressor. It was easy because his light was parked right on it. Yep, I said, and he said, Is it moving? No I said. Than Michael calmly said your compressor has died and would I like Honda OEM Parts or after market parts. I said what the price difference. He said not much. So I replied, Honda parts it is. He made a quick call and gave me a price installed for the entire job and said can you have it here tomorrow at 930AM ...Again, YES I said. All this took about 5 minutes from pull in to, Sadly your compressor has died! The other 5 minutes we chatted and I was happily out the door. The next morning I was there at 930AM to drop it off and he said Ill call you when its done ok! I got a call and brief text saying its done and ready! Thats how easy it was!So lets recap:Honda costs about $2,000.oo + tax and a free cup of expensive coffee and a wait of about 4-5 hours...orPlacetas AC where you get to meet Michael a real life AC Wizard for about 790.oo + tax.Ill pick the Wizard every day of the week and twice on Saturday.You will too!

I have been having a/c problems for several months.. I did not know what was wrong. My a/c would be nice and cold while driving but when it came to a stop for a few minutes the air start getting less cooler. Therefore, I got on the Internet and found Placetas A/C repair. I brought my car in and spoke to Mike. I told him what was going on with my a/c and within minutes he diagnose what the problem was was. He told me that my a/c needed freon. He flushed the a/c line, checked for leaks and put in some freon in. Now my a/c is working very good (ice cold). Thanks Mike, you are the best.
