I brought my 13 y/o daughter to Old Town Hair Company to have her hair cut. She wanted to get about 6” cut off as her hair had gotten really long this last year. First, I was pleased with their response to the current pandemic, and felt safe waiting in their shop. You will find OTHC in the corner of a brick building right off Collage Ave. The location is convenient, parking was not bad at 3pm on a Wednesday, and they were ready for us upon arrival. My daughter saw Rachel who was wonderful with her, and my daughter was very happy with her hair. They sell many haircare products if you need, and offer a great service at a fair price. I will be referring my wife, and suspect this will be our new spot.

I loved this place! I am from California and came here for college and was in a hurry to find a place and it could not have been better. The first day wasn’t exactly how I wanted it and they offered to immediately fix it and do exactly what I wanted the 2nd day for free! The service is amazing and I highly recommend coming here. The atmosphere is comfortable and the place is clean and rustic.

I’ve been coming here for a couple months now and I love it. The location is extremely convenient with ample parking, the shop itself is extremely clean, and the finishes are very well done. On top of that Rachel is awesome, she is easy to talk to and gives the best fades I’ve ever had hands down! I’ve been getting fades for the last 15 years of my life and her fade is like a work of art. If your looking for a good men’s cut in a well maintained and clean salon look no further!

I hadn’t gotten my long, frizzy hair cut in over a year due to the pandemic and finally decided it was time to go for a trim! I’m new to town and don’t have a regular salon yet so I chose Old Town Hair Company because it was right in the neighborhood. My appointment was with Rachel and she was awesome. She listened to my hair concerns and took that all into account to give me a great cut. My hair already feels so soft and so much healthier! I will def go back to Rachel next time I need a trim. Also Covid protocols here made me feel very safe. The whole place felt very clean and masks are required.

I booked a balayage appointment with Rachel at Old Town Hair company and I am blown away with my results! I have never dyed my hair before so she was so sweet and knowledgeable, walking me through every step of the way. I am so in love with my hair and recommend not on Rachel but this salon 1000%

Love the environment, like the location and their employees were very helpful in putting in my hair extensions and showing me how to put them in correctly. I had my hair extensions in this carrying case and she labeled every piece for me so I can put them in correctly next time and do it myself. I would definitely recommend this place to any family friend I know of.

THE BEST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN! Please book Rachel. She made me feel so safe and beautiful. We could talk openly about what I wanted. And it is so hard to find someone who can cut curly hair! This is the place to be! Super lovely space and a friendly staff. I had some wonderful conversations with Rachel at the front desk, along with my stylist, Megan. Im grateful that Old Town Hair Company directly donates to Wigs for Kids, as I was fairly particular about what organization received my donation.After four years of growing out my hair, it was about time for a new look. I was little nervous walking in, as I had no idea what it was going to feel like with short hair again. After showing Megan a reference picture, and chopping off well over a foot of hair, I was astounded at my new look and feel. I feel all classy now!I cant wait to come back to spend some with these lovely people again, and continue giving myself the self-care I need. See you all soon!

Rachel did an amazing job on my hair! I received a ton of compliments from strangers after I left the salon while walking around the Old Town area- even from someone who said she was a hair dresser! She said my blonde looked beautiful! Rachel was even able to fix the yellow left in my hair from another salon (look at my old reviews on who NOT to go to for blonde) which I was nervous about at first, but she made the whole appointment relaxing and fun. The salon is very clean and comfortable. This was such a great experience & I love the outcome!

Relaxing environment, they work directly with the wig makers when you donate and the wig is no cost to the recipient. Alex took her time and seems to really enjoy (and be good at) cutting/styling hair.

I’m new to the area so this was my first visit to the salon in Fort Collins. Meg was my stylist at old town hair company and she did the most spectacular job! My hair has been about the same length, 5 inches past my shoulders, for about 15 years. I was very nervous to chop it but Meg did a fabulous job and let me know what she was doing as she was doing it. I wasn’t quite sure exactly what I wanted when I walked in, but I had some ideas and she was very helpful through the process. She did such an amazing job I know I won’t have to try any other salons!

I had recently gone to this salon after having a terrible experience with other salons in the past. They were able to get me in, in a timely matter and I absolutely loved the result of my hair. Complimentary wine & beer. Very clean, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. I have been using Old Town Hair since 2019, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else in town. It’s refreshing when businesses take their craft so seriously, and it’s no wonder that’s why this place has been around and flourishing since 1997. When it comes to attention to detail Sally and Meg are the best there is, and I would highly recommend either of these stylists.

Megan killed it. She was professional and friendly, taking time to not only make sure I looked amazing but I knew what she was doing as well. As a man, salons are intimidating but I felt welcome here and was actually able to laugh and have fun. I felt comfortable because theyre taking all the necessary precautions with covid, but also because Megan thoroughly explained aftercare with me. My hair looks so good my mother asked me where I got my hair did, so in lament terms - theyre da bomb.

They were very kind and helpful they listened to his requests for how he wanted his hair to be cut and they made him satisfied in the end. Megan B. cut my hair. Shes new to the company but they clearly have high standards because I was donating hair and she was excellent, helpful and worked with me not knowing what I really wanted. This place is professional and comfortable for a price. That being said the quality here is worth the cost (I am usually cheap with hair cuts). Every cut comes with a shampoo!

Kat did my hair for my wedding and she did such an incredible job. I was hesitant to wear it half up and down but she used wonderful products and it kept its curl all night long! Also the stylists that did my bridesmaids and mother’s hair did an exceptional job! We were all a very happy group of ladies!

I usually dont enjoy going to the salon, so I do my best to do things on my own, but my experience was pleasant and I plan to come again. They have a sweet, incredibly well- behaved dog hanging out in the salon, which I absolutely loved. I highly recommend coming here to get your hair done.

Everything about my experience was great. I had a consult to see what could be done with my thinning hair (multiple cancer treatments). Very helpful. I was encouraged and felt very comfy in their smallish intimate salon. My cut was perfect and manageable. Not too drastic. Sally was encouraging. Kat is the best!! When I wanted a natural looking way to integrate my grays with my dark brown hair, she came to my rescue and gave me some of the best hair of my life! I came into Old Town Hair with a horrible hair cut but Kayla took great care of me. My hair is tricky, it is thin but there is so much of it, with natural wave (people tend to get lost in it). But when I left it had its natural wave back with great bounce. I will be returning for all my hair cuts/colors

I was a client at this salon for over a year. At the beginning I loved this salon. Over the time that I have been there I noticed the owner didn’t treat her employees well. I had two very amazing stylist, Kat and Kayla. I have been a higher end client with extensions and color. Sadly, I have learned recently that these two are no longer at the salon. After calling at least 7 times to try and schedule an appointment with no return phone call, The owner refuses to let their clients know about them leaving or better yet firing them for no reason. It’s so unprofessional of the owner to not provide any notice to clients of their leaving and the lack of providing information on how to reach these two stylists. I have done so much research to try and find them as I need my hair done. If you are reading any of these reviews and are wanting Kat or Kayla to be your stylist this salon will NOT provide you any information. That’s how I finally found them and hopefully I will get my hair done soon.The bottom line, this salon has no communication or respect for their stylists or clientele.
