We had an appointment but we’re treated like we just came in. My friend and I waited approximately 45 minutes. My friend then got her pedicure while I waited more and the same guy then did mine. So, we were there a really long time with me sitting sort of just waiting.

A few weeks ago, I had both a full set and pedicure done. About a week after my appointment, my feet started peeling! I’ve never in my life had my feet peel like they did!!! They didn’t clean my feet up properly either. The guy doing my pedicure was wearing the same gloves he must of warn for his last pedicure/client as the gloves had a nail polish color on them that I didn’t get!As far as the full set I received, that were “dipped”. They were done so ungodly thick! I was told they couldn’t do them thinner.We had an appointment time set up. They were busy when we arrived, but just continue to take walk-in clients and work on my friends and I faster and faster doing a less than professional job.Don’t get me wrong they were all very nice and friendly. But I was very disappointed at the job that was done on my feet and my hands. I will sadly definitely not be returning!!

I have been going to Serenity for about five years. Lately every time I go in with an appointment. They are never on time because they squeeze other people that walk in. Yesterday was the last staw, even though there work is good. Customer service is lacking. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been going here for years and I love it. Lately they over book and wait well past appointments time and then rush and dont do a very good job. 😒was very disappointed

This has been one of the MOST UNPLEASANT experiences I have ever had in my life. I do not recommend this business to anyone. I went by appointment and they had twice the number of clients compared to the staff. Because the job I asked him for was going to take a little longer, he told me several times that it cost 50 dollars and I told him that it was okay, he started to put my nails wrong and even though I took pictures the way he wanted it He said that he did not understand me and that he was not going to continue treating me and I explained to the other girl and told her not to continue talking to me because he was going to neglect the clients, then he tells me that he does not have that gel and I told him that it was fine with the one he had and he got angry and told me in front of all the people to leave the salon and come back and repeat it and I had half my nails I was not going to go with an uncut hairpiece and I I repeated I do not understand you when you speak English come back in Among other things that I prefer not to tell ...

Family owned a run business.. need I say more?I dont often write reviews, but this business deserves recognition. The owners are genuine, kind, humble people who try to make every customer feel welcomed and appreciated. I drive 30 minutes out of my way and take my mother with me for the wonderful service. Its my favorite place to get my nails done. Ive gotten both acrylic and gel done here. Everyone does a great job, I think the girls name is Mi mi and shes my favorite! Theyre very friendly and professional. They also do an excellent job with eyebrow waxing. I quit getting my eyebrows done by my hair stylist because Serenity does a better job.

Do NOT waste your time here. This place does not value your time. You wait even when you have an appointment. The staff are rude. When I questioned why walk ins were being serviced in between, I was humiliated in front of other customers. They have many color options yet they claim they dont have the color and dont even recommend an alternative. Just an awful experience despite multiple chances given to them.

I used to go here. The longer I came here the more rush work they did. My nails were done sloppier as if they were too rushed. The have a sign saying Walk-ins Accepted on their door. One day I came there as a walk-in 1.5 hours before they close. They had no other customers, saying it was a slower day. After my nails were done and I was paying for the service, Sonny walked up to me and harshly scolded me for not making an appointment and come earlier because they wanted to go home early.Another time I went there with an appt. I had filed a broken nail so it would not catch on anything. Again, after I paid Sonny walked up to me and harshly scolded me saying that I should not file my broken nail because it slows them dow down and then they cannot make as much money.Sonny can be verbally very cruel and mean.They are in the US, however, the staff speaks their native language between each other and I know they talk about the customer then. I know this because when I went in with the broken nail I filed, Sonny and his wife talked back and forth in their language. His wife did my nails. As soon as I paid he harshly scolded me.I will never return to them or give them a good review.

Sunny and Don always do a fantastic job on my pedicures! Feel fresh and rejuvenated! Only place that doesnt leave me with ingrown toe nails!

I have been coming here for 3 years and decided to take my friend from out of town here today. I was so embarrassed I even brought her by the end. When we were sat to get started she asked what I wanted and immediately told me I couldn’t get the style nail I wanted because of my nail beds being too short. I bite my nails and I know my nails are short, hence wanting to get them done. I’ve gotten this style plenty of other times at this location and they proceeded to have tell me Rudely multiple times how short my nails were. Then they started talking about it in a different language which was so obvious because right after another technician made a rude comment about my nail beds looking bad to my friend. Already annoyed by my experience, she was very impatient while doing my nails and commanded I sit up and move forward during the gluing process of the fake nails. My experience was far from relaxing or enjoyable, the level of professionalism was not there. I loved coming to this place and rave about it to my friends but I will not be sending business this way any longer. I shouldn’t be made to feel self conscious about my nails especially when I pay a lot of money to come to the salon. If this happens again while I am here I will be saying something publicly and will not return.

I was very disappointed this time at Serenity Nail and Spa. Today, I had nails and pedicure done. I have never had both done so quickly. Nails are not on straight, not really square like I like them, and a small cut from the tool ( he didnt say anything). Pedicure was REALLY fast. Did enjoy like previous time. Feet are not as smooth.Bad experience this time.

Great service. I recently got a matte top coat on my gel manicure. The matte cracked after a couple days and the gentleman was great about applying another coat and the shiney top coat. He didnt ask for payment but I tipped regardless. Ive gone multiple times prior to that and never been disappointed.

My nails are not the same shape. I will have to fix them at home. Yes Im picky but everyone wants their nails to be the same shape at least. My polish is splotchy. The nails themselves are bumpy. And I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time getting them done. Overall I would not recommend them to anyone. I tried to save some time and have someone else do them for me. Well thats a bust, Ill be redoing them myself anyhow. Bummed.

I ask to have VI!! Did not get her!! Her sister did my nails and the nail art on my 2 nails that was to be matching didnt match!! Im so PO! When I ask for a certain person and always have her I should get her!! Happens again and Ill go elsewhere

Very rude, price kept changing, they injured my daughter due to being in such a hurry to get to the next money.. I mean person and because of being in that rush she had nails begin to come off the next day

They aren’t the worst to go to, honestly. Yes they are a bit pricy as i usually leave spending about $60. But they’ve never been too rude. Yes my nails have come out a little bumpy, and a tad bit off shape. But I wouldn’t be so harsh as to say I’ll never come back. They’ve been pretty nice, but I just moved here so that’s just me.

They do such a wonderful job and treat you like family. After going somewhere else Ill always come home.

I have been coming to Serenity since they opened several years ago. I have tried other places and just keep coming back. Yes, I have had a bad experience here or there but my good outweighs the bad. I currently have shellac on my nails that is 4 weeks old and still in great shape, my nails are just too long for my preference. I have brought in numerous pictures from Pinterest and V copies them almost identically. Dont come to this salon if youre looking for a quick in and out- you will likely have to wait a little while because theyre almost always busy.

I am not one to write reviews but I have to say this was the WORST experience I have ever had in a nail salon. My sister and i booked an appointment at 9 am for a wedding that we are in. My other sister went in to labor early this morning so i called to cancel the appointment but no one was there and they dont have a voicemail set up. I called a little after nine to reschedule the appointment with no problem. When we went there my sister and i were told to sit and wait. We waited about 15 minutes and they took me to my chair for my pedicure. About ten minutes in to getting my pedicure the older gentleman walked over and said we cannot do your sisters nails with the baby she will need to wait until your done. ( thought this was a little odd as I have brought my kids to MANY salons before) so I say thats fine. We are about done with my pedicure and the older gentleman approaches me in a rude manor again asking if I was the one who had the appointment at nine. I responded that I was and that my sister was in labor so I had to reschedule. He said if u would have been here at nine we would have gotten you in. I felt as if i was being scolded for rescheduling. I said I called to reschedule he said not until after nine. I argued back and said I called before nine and didnt get a voicemail. So I called when I had a minute to reschedule. He explained to me no one gets there until 9. OK. So we proceed on to my manicure. My sister now sitting next to me tells me she is hungry and needs to get above mentioned baby food. Tech responds to her you go get food, or it would be better you go eat and come back. My sister not a very patient person has now been sitting for and hour and a half didnt like it much and said I am waiting for her to be done. The again above mentioned older gentleman asked me what she would like I told her the same as me. But we will need to go get food first as baby is hungry he said that would be good as we dont have time for you now. Needless to say we went and got food and did not return. The work they do is great but they are incredibly rude. I took her to my favorite salon instead. I will not be returning to be yelled at by a nail tech. Side note: at salon we went to there was a 18 mointh old baby with a lady in a chair and the workers were playing and cooing over him. Much better customer service.

Called and made an appointment for 3, 2 teenagers and myself. When we show up they are understaffed. Put me in the pedi chair with cold water and ignore us. Next time will drive to Janesville where when you have an appointment it is honored and youre treated with outstanding customer service. This local businesses isnt worth supporting

Wow. If you want to go somewhere and be treated rudly, not get what you asked for and be unhappy when you leave. This is the place for you! Staff is rude and doesnt follow instructions. Didnt care to do my nails the way I asked. The place is dirty. Dirty nail tools are shared between customers. Someone is going to get Hep C at this place! Oh and they take thier tip by refusing to give you your change back! This place is a Joke! Oh yeah they didnt even finish the job. I had to go home and fix and finish what the screwed up. When you try to complain they pretend they dont understand English. I would recommend anywhere else!!!??!

10:30 apt.didnt start till 11:10 ...not done till 12.00 to busy doing multiple people at the same time..and then a bad job done..used to be a great place but not the last several times..time to find a different place..

Never coming back again. Everytime I come here I think to myself why did I come here again? I made an appointment at 11:30am. I showed up at 11:25 am, they told me pick a color and 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, they ask if I have color on my nails, I say yes and he tells ME to remove my nail polish. No that is your job! That is why I came to get a service done. 25-30 minutes later, still no help from anyone with no end in sight. I left and am never coming back.

Really thats all that needs to be heard !! several times ( 4) Ive had scheduled appointments , sometimes days in advance and when I get there they say Can I help you ? well yes, I have an appointment , Go Pick color please !! is their response... seriously 45-60 minutes later (after scheduled time ) they seat you at a counter chair and there you wait, and wait , and wait ....no customer service what so ever ....several people will just pop in and work on youre nails when they finally do get to you, 10-15 min with one girl then she leaves and does somebody elses nails and I get the guy who just finished cleaning someones feet for 10 minutes then a kid comes in ( Vs Daughter) she buffs and paints your nails while the they take care of someone elses feet ...Then thats it !! youre suppose to be pleased and happy ....bottom line is Ive seriously gave this place several tries and always the same results ...THE WAY OVER BOOK APOINTMENTS !!!1 NEVER ON SCHEDULE !!!! ALWAYS TALK TO EACH OTHER IN THEIR LANGUAGE SO YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ( VERY! VERY1 RUDE !) Never will return .....HORRIBLE !!!

Super glad they have dip polish! Thats my new fav and will last 3 wks+.Im almost always really happy (otherwise just happy) with the results of my mani & pedi for myself & my daughter. Theyre gentle with my daughter and thorough with me. Service varies depending on whos doing it, but nice job every time regardless.

Took mom there for mothers day pedi n guy had her soak for 25 min n didnt say 2 words to her n painted her nails n didnt go to dryer for 25 min until he told her to go to dryer for her toes n other gals came in n he talked up a storm with them. Very disappointed in the young guy.

Probably the worst nail salon Ive stepped into! I just came back from vaction out of state which I had gotten my nails done while there. I broke a nail and went into this salon to get it repaired. When I walked through the door to inquire about an appointment I was not greeted at all so I said kindly hello then was told were closed what you want? I stated what I needed done and was told to go back to the salon I had them done at. I explained I had them done in another state so thats not possible. Then I was told we dont have that color, referring to the color on my nails. So I said thats ok Ill choose a different color. She then ignored me for 5 minutes, not even a response so I was just gonna leave then she said maybe you can come back tomorrow I asked what time they had available, she pondered a bit and said you come ummm maybe 6:30pm no no 6:45 ok bye. She never took down my name or anything. I left and didnt go to the ghost appointment. In fact I will discourage everyone I know to avoid this very rude salon.

Very pushy, rushed the process, hardly any communication, and constant moving from different spots to continue the nail process.

Not an enjoyable experience this morning. Felt rushed and staff wasnt very nice or patient. Instructions given kind of rude and impersonal. Lady doing my pedi was also answering calls and making appointments so I didnt know if she was asking me questions or someone else. I will probably find a new place in the Fort area.
