Directions to the point per GPS. I arrived at the gate at 22:54 for a 23:00 appt coming from a live load at Tyson Plant, in Sanford, NC. There were no other trucks in the driveway or beside the road. I was able to pull up to the intercom, received a door no#, and took my paperwork inside the receiving dept. I was there roughly 4 and half hours from start to finish with everything. No overnight parking.

One of the few Mc Lane places where I was in and out within 2 hours. The usual: Stupid intercom at the main entrance and walking around looking for the shipping office. Somehow this one wasnt as crowded as the previous ones Ive been to. Its a spacious place and docking area is manoeuverble and well numbered. Unloading was very quick ( less than an hour ) lumper fees are very reasonable also. Staff is helpful

This place is the WORST! Had a 5am appointment, checked-in at 4:30am and trailer wasn’t even touched until 10am. I had my company call to find out what was going on and they lied and said I had already been unloaded. The receiving staff is extremely rude and are no help at all. STAY AWAY from this place!

Emplyees are very rude and inconsiderate. They do not care about appointment times at this facility. Have delivered here for 8 years and it is getting worse. The lady checking in drivers was asleep at window several times. Have had to wait outside gate over an hour many times, then they try to charge you late fee for missing appointment. Have made several attempts to make things better, communicate and even offer to help, to no avail. Do not come here unless you just wanna hang out and watch trucks come and go after you. Extremely unprofessional. Absolutely pointless to have an appointment time. I would really like it if someone at this facility would contact me. Wouldnt even give them 1 star.

Worst place ever stay away unless you need a 10 hour break, this not the place for an owner operator, checked in at 11 and it 7 and they still have not touched my truck, I have seen different trucks come and go and I am still here. I wish you could give negative stars

I spend like an hour to get unloaded at the facility which is perfect for a truck driver.Great team works out there, specially the manager at the receiving William, he’s the best 😎💪

After I take a load to this place a checked every review.... and just happened again.... 20 minutes after and still outside I will like to know if there is something you guys do before getting a load heading to places like this because they need us to do the job and we don’t need people and places like this I just marked don’t coming any more here

DELIVERY. Had 1:30am delivery, came around 1, called the box phone, she gave me a door, backed in, checked in the office, guy watched me brake the seal, open doors, back in the door, empty in two hours. $55 lumper. Overall good place, negative is that there is no parking before app time, besides risking parking on the street with “no parking sign” They might let u park in side after your empty for couple hrs but that’s it.

Delivery w 53 dry van. Truck entrance is the South side of the lot, exit north side. Outside Carriers use right lane. Check in at the gates intercom, needing (2/18 a 7 digit # ) check in #. Take bills to office, back up to dock & show seal intact to lumper. Office will call your cell when done unloading and paperwork is finished.No overnight parking, sometimes long unload times... Plan ahead...

Convenient service to be able to go and pickup items missed while ordering. But receptionist is extremely rude. Was standing there for 15 mins without being acknowledged so I asked am I in the right place she just throws her finger up real rudelike and continues working for another ten or so minutes before acknowledging my existence

Im not sure if anyone who management looking at these reviews... The lady in the shipping office have serious attitude issue, not sure what here name is since he had her name tag flipped over. Learn some manners!!!

This was a decent experience at this location I had a 4:30 a.m. delivery appointment and I was out at 6:30 a.m.

This place is horrible! Attitude and not a good one at that! Your appointment has meaning ONLY to you. It applies ONLY TO YOU. They DO NOT CARE about your time at all. You are not allowed on the dock to see how far along they are the only person you see is receiving clerk and that person is Lordn savior...and she has attitude to spare! And God help you if you are white driver ...you will feel racism full force from her. You will be treated like garbage. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! DO NOT ACCEPT LOADS TO THIS CRAPHOLE!

The fastest delivery I have ever had! In and out from bumping dock to getting paperwork in 25 minutes. I would highly recommend getting there somewhat early as to get a parking spot close to the driveway. You can pull into the driveway around 10 pm(they start checking people in around 10:30) and they will slowly but surely get you through the gate. It is nice especially if you are going through during the first wave of trucks, because the trucks come through the gate so slowly it gives you plenty of time and plenty of room to back in.

Delivered at this place this morning the customer service is horrible. They dont greet you at all they literally just put their hands out to get your paperwork and not say a word i never would go bk

This by far the worse transportation company to work for.. and I advise anyone to seek elsewhere for employment opportunity before coming here! This company (Forest Park Georgia Distribution Center) is a driving slave plantation with morals of Mclane Foods First and your family and you not mattering at all. The reason they offer day 1 benefits and sign on bonus is because it’s a very demanding job with the no life as driver.. Stay away stay away stay away... From every individual in management all the way down to the dispatchers and customer services they all unprofessional 💯... I give one star but in actuality they deserve no star at all... J. Mustang assistant manager is a complete corn ball.. stay away is my advice.. in addition the last check of employment with this company will be mailed from corporate office in Tx. So you already payed biweekly pay cycle but in retaliation for resignation from the company they mail your check from corporate office and stop automatic direct deposits in your account... so tacky and unprofessional to inconvenience someone even more for the money they earned.. stay away from this company is my advice and that’s for all...a much of unprofessional staffing management with no transportation knowledge of whatsoever... this job is not for a family man ...at all

Why just one star? just because like it’s normal for McLane: no parking around the company, no overnight parking and there was even a 1 mile Sun Petro truck stop but now there is only a big pile of concrete. Nobody cares about drivers....

What a joke this place is. I had a midnight appointment time. As with what a couple of others have said I buzzed the call box was told to hold on minute. After 10 minutes I buzzed it again. Finally gave me a door number. Backed up to door went in and signed in. Came back out and had to wait for them to open door so they could watch me remove seal and hand it to them. Then open my doors and back in to dock the rest of the way. All pretty normal and not really aggravating. But then it took 8 hrs and 15 minutes to unload my trailer. Yes you read that right 8 hrs and 15 minutes.I went in a couple times to see what was going on. And got they are working on it. The final time the girl told me it was my fault​ because they go by appointment times. Then I explained that I had a midnight appointment time and was signed in on her sheet 18 minutes early. She then said that nothing was on pallets and the entire trailer was having to be unloaded by hand​, stacked on pallets, counted and then put away. I then told her first of all it was on pallets, I am the one who opened the doors. 2nd of all if thats not a forklift bashing in and out of the trailer ever 30 minutes then you have elephants walking around in there. And 3rd its been over 6 hours. I finally got a call at 8 hrs and 15 minutes. Told me to come in and get my paperwork. I go in and get my paperwork and they tell me I have to pull off the door and leave the property because I cant park here. I told them I will not move. They burnt out my 14 and I cant move the truck for another hour and 45 minutes. They. Threatened to call the police on me. I told them please do. I will explain it to the officer just as I did you. And by the time the officer, we discuss the situation my 10 break will be up.I will never come back here again.

People park on street before entrance with was confusing. Once you turn onto Street go down about a quarter of a mile on the left and check in on intercom. You will be asked to wait. But do arrive early because check in is slow and could go pass your appointment.

Be there on appointment time. You will get a door at the gate and check in again in the office. Decent unloading time. No overnight parking

They start receiving at 11 pm and I got in at 11 pm ,for a 2 am appointment. You need to have your PO number ready to tell it to the lady over the mic 🎤.. she’s gonna assign you a door number ..DO NOT BRAKE THE SEAL ...!!!! . Back it almost all the way so you can squeeze in between the dock and the trailer and after you check in you’ll get a paper which you’ll take it to the back of your trailer and while the unloader is watching you are going to brake the seal .I think that they work your truck by the appointment even if you’re at the dock already,as my truck was not touched until 1:45. I was done by 3 am . Get your bills drive around to the exact street you got in and park on the right side of the street ,just after the no parking signs .When you leave ,drive up as there is a huge turnaround spot ahead .Good luck !!

No problems here whatsoever! I got here an hour early. I was unloaded and received my paperwork in exactly 3 hours. Everyone was pleasant. They even let me park towards the exit after getting unloaded!

I want to note that I have never, ever left a one star rating for anyone on Google before. I try to give people the BOTD and not hurt their public reputation over a single incident. This time though, I got pretty screwed, and if it wasnt for my company being absolutely awesome, this could have been a real bad situation.Im not going to post this big dramatic story. Just dont assume anything here.***THEIR NORMAL RECEIVING HOURS ARE 2200-0500***Dont park on the street out front for more than 2-3hrs or one of the other facilities here will call the police. Tons of trucks do it. Tons of trucks get told to leave. Tons of trucks get parking tickets. A driver from my company was getting a ticket as I pulled out to leave.Typical, impersonal, cold, and uncaring are a few words to describe this place. Youve been warned.

Customer Service staff sucked. Was very unhelpful in trying to locate the whereabouts of a family member. You can tell she was ghetto and had no idea what she was talking about. I hope one day if her family is missing she doesn’t get any answers just like I didn’t. Thanks for NOTHING!! I still can’t find my family member.

It’s a mad house. Had a 22:00 appointment. Gates don’t open until 23:00. 30 trucks all coming in at once. Good luck getting in and out in a reasonable timeframe.

I never seen any McLane location like this ...I dont even go to McLane warehouses because of sooo much hollywood drama going on make me sick !!! When the broker called me about this load my first question was as usuall where the load picks up and where its deliver ...when the broker told me McLane of course no away in hell I am going to McLane...than he told me he will pay me $100.00 in hour after initial two hour mandatory...I thought its night delivery I can not find parking in Atlanta...I just sleep in McLane and bill the broker 10 hour detention....My appointment was at 0100 I got here at 2245 as soon as I checked in I got a door at 2330 I got a call back to pick up BOL ....THIS IS THE KIND OF PLACE I USUALLY GO ....THIS IS THE BEST McLane I ever been to NO HOLLYWOOD DRAMA HERE !!!...very nice respectful people work here ...THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION WE AS A DRIVER APPRECIATE VERY MUCH !!!!! AND THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING OUR TIME !!!!

Ok so Ive been reading all of the negative reviews and Im keeping an open mineI got here at 0030 for a 0200 application got a dock door right away checked in at 0102 someone can and checked my seal at 0317 so I could open my doors and up to the dock, not looking to good so far.Update it is now 0428 and I am finely done here took 4 hours from start to finish not bad .

Also tall about customer service i have yet too meet one smiling face or good customer service encounter while dealing with this company over 5 yrs.. Apparently there needs to be a serious change in management.

Very good costomer service.Had no problems what so ever.Staff was very friendly, very helpfull, very polite. You get what you give.I was in/out 1 1/2 hours.Was very surprised by what others were saying. I parked in the street in the cauldsac,Nobody called the police, nobody said a word to me.Again you get what you give.Was very pleased with all the people that work here.

We deliver to Mclanes all over the Country and 99% of them want you thru the gate at least 30 minutes before apts for ppw. Not this one got a 2200 apt and they wont allow in till 10pm so technically I would be late, Not Cool. I will make sure not to come back

Must leave after getting unloaded regardless if you have time or not...asked lady in office why taking so long and what if run out of time the lady just shrugged her shoulder and said I just work in the office dont know what to tell ya

Never coming back. This one does things a little different. Communication between myself & the receiving office wasn’t good, but I will take part blame of that. They give you a piece of paper to give to warehouse BEFORE you bump dock to witness seal before breaking.A VERY UNNECESSARY MOVE people.

Arrived an hr before appointment and the driveway and street were blocked. Now its 4hrs past my appointment and still not in a door.Someone with logistic background needs to be hired. Also drivers that show up and pull in driveway earlier then an hr before appointment should be sent out for making other drivers late.Someone from McClain should be directing traffic at gate.

Good unload time, but do not park along the street local law enforcement drives around writing $168 citations for parking along the side and McLane only lets you in 15-20 min prior your appointment time. There is Sun Petro truck stop (also paid parking) or Pilot 5-6 miles East exit 51 or few small gas station on Moreland exit 53 (Chevron and Citgo) with truck fuel islands you can kill few hrs there. But avoid getting a parking ticket its stupid way to trow $168 away. Stay safe drivers remember someone waiting for you or peoples around you at home!

Worst McLane in the country. Every time its a hassle and the receiving office is always rude here, but 4 hours after the green light just to get bills on a good load? Then act like Im the jerk because Ive been in the dock for 6 hours and need to go? Seriously?

I hate this place, like I guess they know how many hours I have on my clock and they hold me up and waste those hours I have. Like tonight I had 5hrs left on my clock. Guess what they took 5hrs and 24mins to unload me. I asked for the supervisor and told him the problem. Plus told him about the Slog law thats coming up next month. YLL NEED to get it together because we going to start sleeping overnight honey. He said hell bring it up in the meeting... ok well see.

Not bad unload time. I delivered on a saturday. Only 1 truck was parked in the driveway. Showed up an hour early. Was put right in a door and promptly unloaded. 2nd time at this loc. On a Thursday. Arrived at 01:15 for a 02:00. Put right in a door. Empty and bills by 03:45 a.m.

Showed up at the appointment time and waited behind one truck at the entrance gate for 25 minutes. Driver said that receiving told him they would get back to him in a minute. By the time I pulled up to the call box, I was also asked to hold. 15 minutes later after hitting the call box button several more times, I was given a door.I was delivering just one pallet of product and I usually unload myself to save money from the ridiculous lumping fees, and I was told thats its a closed dick and could not pull the single pallet off myself and would have to pay them $40 to do so.After returning to my truck to wait on someone to verify the seal, I ended up standing there for 20 minutes went back and and they had to page someone again. Two hours later, they call to let me know my paperwork is ready. Unbelievable how incompetent and inefficient this place is. They should change the name from McLane to McGhetto.

The receiving opens at 10:30pm you can check in early but you wont get unloaded before your appoitment.The lady at the receiving office makes you feel like you are 💩💩💩 and she is running this place..LOL the unloading process took total of 4 hours

DRIVER BEWARE!!!! My husband had an appt on a Wed. at 6 am while enroute he got email saying changed to Fri at 1:30. Dispatch called & got a 11:30 pm appt on Wed. Went to pay the for lumped & they dont take cash, only tcheck or Fleet One card. So he had to wait until 7 am Thursday to get the tcheck from dispatch before he got paperwork.

Appointment for 0230, its 0819 and Im still here. Everyone at the receiving window move in slow motion. Im not exaggerating, they actually move slow. They act like they dont want to do their job. Im irritated even though Im getting detention pay.Update: 0857 and Im still here. I wont delivery to this place again!

If I coukd give a negative 1 that would be it. Delivery driver busted my business backdoor and its been a month since we sent the bill to them. Got told the driver siad it was already busted but cameras prove otherwise. Ever since then they have never showed up on time. Called at 12 am for eta on delivery. Told me 4 am. Im here at 620 am and been on hold for over 45 minutes trying to get an update after getting told at 4 am that there is no driver on my delivery route. We cant open and sell food if they dont deliver the food we serve.

I hardly can think of other place where i was waiting in line 30+min just to pass the gate. However have to admit that once you given a door and go to check in, guys in there are very quick, helpful and professional.

They dont allow early delivery, i arrived early gave them the po number, and they told me to come back at 1:30am, because thats when the load was due, so i figured my company made a mistake with the time, and then when i returned at 1:30am they proceeded to tell me the load was late and it was due they day before at 1:00am and had to be rescheduled. Mondays its a sad place takes to long to emty its a great place if you ge paid by the hour .. now Friday night they open @ 11 & got to a door by 11:30 & got emty @ 12:15 got my bills in my hand by 12 :30 now this is what it should be always I cant understand

Monday and Tuesday are the worst here. It can be hit or miss. The Forrest Park police patrol this road specifically to ticket truck drivers for parking while they wait for the idiots at McLanes to let them in the gate. Ironically, they ignore the drug dealers and hookers 3 blocks to the south.There is NO parking in, on, or around this location.
