I drive OTR and deliver into the market weekly. That being said, Athena is the only place I go to that will not move a pallet. Just in case you dont know, when you go to multiple coolers and pick up, sometimes pallets have to be moved around to get the weight acceptable. Which means, all the stuff you ordered might not be all together, so if you need to move a few extra pallets to get your product off the truck, whats the big deal?? Every other place on the market does it!! Its a lot more trouble and a lot less safe to be moving a 76 semi and trailer around the market, dont you think??? Safety 1st, right?? This policy needs to be changed asap!! If a truck/trailer is in the door at your facility, get your product off it. Not half of the pallets, then want the driver to pull out and come back so you dont have to spend 10 minutes moving a few pallets. Bad business...... or laziness????

Ive been in food service more than 30 years and have worked in the finest of Country Clubs, Resorts and Hotels. I have never seen a company more committed to customer service and food quality like Richard and Robert at Athena Farms. They have truly set the Bar so high many other companys that want our Business at GSU can not match their impeccable service and attention to details.( Its like doing business with family) .

The company whose head is above their shoulder...My customer service with Athena Farms was beyond terrible. Firstly, the sales department cared less about meeting customer expectation as they never showed up on scheduled time. When I called to complain about the tardiness, they stated that they did not see a sense of urgency in the situation. Plus, Robert, the sales manager, cut the relationship with the customer himself stating that Athena might not be a good supplier for our restaurant for their employee being late. I obviously did proceed no further business with them. Until this date, I cannot believe how a food supplier could tell their customer that they do not see the sense of urgency. Their view is so one sided. The decision is up to you if you want to deal with such a lame supplier; but this was a great disappointing experience so far I had with food supplier.
