I have done my taxes on my own for several years with Taxslayer. I came into Jackson Hewitt this year to take advantage of their advance refund offer, which is great. But I also understand alot more about tax breaks that I shouldve claimed. Well worth it. I WILL BE COMING BACK.

Jackson Hewitt Tax service has always had knowledgeable people working for them. I would recommend my family and friends to use this tax service to get their taxes done. There is no rushing, and all steps are completed, and everything gets double checked for correctness. Last but not least, the person doing the tax preparation was down to earth, and I felt like is was truly interested in us as real people, a quality that show how important Jackson Hewitt is in the Tax business.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I got a call from a man to confirm my appointment for today and his first question was how complicated are your taxes, because we dont do very complicated taxes. Not a good sign. Still, I assured him that they were not complicated and that I had actually already completed them, I only wanted someone to review them before I sent them off. His response...we dont offer that kind of service and we dont just give away free tax advice. Not once did I ask for free tax advice. I was more than willing to pay whatever fee necessary but this guy was a jerk and has permanently lost a Jackson Hewitt customer. I guess thats what they get for placing a tiny kiosk in Walmart with uneducated tax accountants. Never again will they get my business!

Horrible experience with Jackson Hewitt. Was told they were certified to file my husbands I-tin and they lied. They were not. We had to redo everything and refile ourselves. We complained and Jackson Hewitt did nothing.

Long appointment, but exceeded my expectations.
