A generous place, giving new hope for parrots big and small!

This is the best place!! I adopted my Fred from here and they are always there for anything we need. They take great care of the birds and are willing to share any of their knowledge with you.

I am so happy exited to come this place but I have a question how much does a Amazon parrot cost over there and what is the cheapest Amazon you guys have or do you guys have a mustache parakeet

Mandi got our cockatiels tiny talons snipped quickly and safely. The staff/volunteers are courteous and friendly. Very happy this place is in Forest Lake.

Just a short drive away and you can find reasonably priced toys cages everything needed for your bird friend

Outstanding!! The staff is so incredibly knowledgeable and had so many wonderful items both new and used in stock and reasonably priced!! Unlike other area bird stores, the parrot Adoption Education Program is not condescending to new bird owners. They genuinely want adoptions to be successful. This is a fantastic resource for bird lovers-worth the drive!

Its a great caring place for birds. I have adopted a couple of birds from there and will continue in the future. The owners are great people to work with and they will help you to find the right bird for you. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there to adopt a bird/birds who need a loving home and also get help educated about how to take care of them. Renee has been very helpful and she is also knowledgeable about birds and her daughter also has been very helpful. Thank you!

I have been to the rescue to many times to count for various reasons....I adpted my adorable caique from them, I get beak and nail trims, I buy bird supplies and toys, Ive asked opinions on things, not to mention my many books ive purchased from them. They are great people, great cause, ilove visiting the birds.

**I had to come back and edit this review. After visiting their Forest Lake location, I was impressed! Theyve made some great changes which Ill list: a bright and clean facility, more space for the birds, and even an an enclosure around their door to prevent birds from escaping. Im happy that this rescue took steps toward improvement. The owner of the rescue is also very friendly and happy to talk about the birds.

Adopted my cockatiel here. A few years ago... He is still 😁& healthy. Plz Consider buying a rescue parrot. Can make great pets. Toys, food, Less expensive here. Research & ask questions here. Enjoy volunteering, donating to this cause.

Best parrot rescue in town. The people there genuinely care for the birds and are doing the absolute best with what they have. Fresh food and water daily, and cages cleaned every other day.Anyone who says negative things about ANY rescue should shut up and step up and do what they can rather than sit behind their computers and phones complaining or making suggestions.

The birds are amazing, super friendly people too especially Renee, I love volunteering here especially since their main cause is to find birds home and take care of them while their owners go on trips

Just talked to Renee Quimby. A caring and loving person. My Conure green cheek parrot ,14 years old has the freedom of flying free in our house. NEVER had his wings clipped. His Vet for many years, (Cedar Pet Clinic of Lake Elmo ) made a very bad mistake . They clipped his wings !!!!! Its been 8 days. Our Casper has been devastated. Thanks to Renee talking to us he is coming out of his house and eating again.

Very unique place to go and learn. Staff is very passionate about birds and the location has almost a community feeling with its staff and the public. Also very kind to newcomers

You can volunteer time and actually take care of and get to know these birds. Or you can go and adopt a bird. Its a pretty cool place.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, many different parrots up for adoption, and the bird food is well priced.Very loud place though, parrots love to yell, especially at each other, so be prepared for that before going in.
