Very nice ladies however, I had an 11 o clock appointment. 1120 I got started. Im sitting in the chair now and shes polishing. 26 minute pedicure, Im paying $45 for the deluxe, I have never seen this quick of a job. This was the express! She barely did anything to my feet. 1152 and shes gone! I did NOT even get a clear coat! I usually tip $10. Shes getting $5 and this review. I do not recommend going here. What I do recommend is that the owners of this salon slow down and give a better service, pay attention to your appointment times. This was not a pleasant pedicure.

I have used this salon the past (pre-COVID) and so made a pedicure appointment over one week in advance. I arrived on time for my appointment to find total chaos. I was told to wash my hands, pick a color and sit down. They then proceeded to take walk-in appointments and I was left sitting. I inquired about my appointment to which I got no response in English. The nail tech turned her back to me. I left and will never recommend nor give my business again to them.

Worst nail salon in forest lake. I’ve been going here for several years, because it is so close to home, but it is very hit or miss. Some times my nails look great, other times they’re absolutely terrible and I just deal with them. Last time I was at this salon the lady doing my nails was unbelievably rushed and very rude - she was bending my finger so hard it felt like she was about to break it. My acrylics were terrible, she didn’t even finish filing them. Another time I had my acrylic nails removed, instead of filing them down or clipping them the lady used a literal dental pick (the single use floss picks) to dig under the nail and rip it off. Needless to say, it hurt. A lot. I’ve always just said “it’s the nail tech, not the salon” until I’ve realized that almost all of the nail techs are horrible. There’s only one that I can think of that is good, but sadly I don’t remember her name. Anyways, I’m writing this review because I just got new acrylics 2 days ago, and they are already lifting. I had to file them down myself because they were so thick (not to mention applied very poorly), and when I filed all the color off you could see where all the acrylic was already lifting. After TWO days. I paid $50 for two weeks, not two days. Overall this salon is so hit or miss, I’d just skip it. Go to a higher quality salon where you will actually get what you pay for, it’ll be much more worth it than going to this place and ending up with poorly done nails.

I ended up breaking an acrylic nail (that I had gotten done elsewhere) and I was able to get in just hours after I broke it!! The gal who helped fix my nail was super helpful and wonderful to me! I am incredibly thankful for her!! Beautiful salon and Ill definitely be back another time when I decide to get another full set of nails done! :):):)

Ok, so PT Nails has EXCELLENT service!! I was in about 1.5weeks ago and was not happy with the way my nails turned out. I gave them 2 stars and i was very disappointed. I called and they got me in immediately and redid my tips and dip and could NOT be happier! Not only was the quality perfect but she was genuinely concerned and wanted to make sure they made it right. Thank you so much and i will be back!!!! Thanks Tea!! My girls and i will be back for another day of spoiling from you!!

Great nail techs, was a little irritated that from my trip prior I had developed some type of nail mold under my acrylic and my nail tech tried convincing me otherwise. Please make sure your nail technician always uses new files and clean supplies. Otherwise, it is a good place to go for a quick nail service even if youre getting a full set, it only took 20-30 min to complete both hands.

I love this salon! I drive past several other nail salons to go here, and would highly recommend. It is very clean. The technicians are always busy, but very attentive and do a fabulous job on nails and pedicures. I have only left there once where I was not happy with a pedicure, but the next time I had the same lady, and she did an absolutely wonderful job! Everyone can have a bad day. My nails NEVER start lifting (as they have with other salons). Won’t go anywhere else!

One star is giving too much! Worst nail experience of my life. She didn’t seem like she even liked her job. All my nails are crooked and I’m sure within a few days the gel will be coming off as it’s bubbled on a few nails. Will not even return to have my four year olds nails painted.

My daughter and I just had deluxe pedicures which were fine. She had a gel polish which was also fine. I had a simple manicure with no color, easy right? It was horrible. Some nails filed square some rounded. Obvious uneven filing on one nail which I fixed as soon as I got home along with some stray cuticles. No hand massage or even lotion. The technician seemed unhappy I just wanted a manicure. Very disappointing and wont be back. The simple requests should be perfect...Changed rating to a 1 as I woke up Sunday morning with an infection in one of my little toes. Also, my daughters gel is already peeling.

I came here today for a full set of acrylic nails. I have not had fake nails in over 5 years, so I was very excited to have beautiful long nails. Firstly they are so busy here I felt rushed the whole time. When I first got there they just put a basket of nail swatches in my lap and didnt tell me anything about them. So I was looking to find a color I thought those were the regular nail Polish colors but turns out they wanted to charge me $15 on top of the full set for a gel Polish. I dont know why I would get gel Polish when Im already paying for acrylic it seemed a bit redundant to me so I told them no I want regular Polish, which ended up being so thick and clumpy it smudged right after they got painted. They didnt really ask me what I wanted , I went in wanting one thing but since I was so rushed to make a decision I just ended up getting something I hated. I ended up leaving the salon feeling so disappointment I had thick square nails. In the end I ended up paying $30 then came home and took off the nail polish and the filed the shape and thickness down. I really wanted to like this place but alas I will not ever be getting fake nails again. ☹

Busy day on Saturday but they always seem to have someone doing something for you. Lynn is amazing and has a great attitude so up beat with all the chaos that was going on that day and all the people that kept coming in, You have to love her. The place a has a large variety of nails, colors and treatments. I use to get my nails done and they were always to thick, these are not at all. I love them and will definitely be going back.

Dusty and dirty. Attitudes arent very good here. They dont treat their customers with much respect. At least not if the customer isnt satisfied! Ill never go back because the place isnt clean. Gritty counter in the nail drying area. Thick dust even on the electric cords coming out of the tv. Cluttered instead of putting things away. I worry about the cleanliness of the tools!

The pedicure here was terrible. The water was cold and did not feel good (I did ask for it to be warmed up- but the tub was full so not much could be done) they were extremely rough when cutting my cuticles to where it hurt half of the time (the edge of my toenail is now red and swollen, keeping an eye on it for infection.) The nail polish was extremely thin and patchy even after requesting another coat. The manicure turned out beautiful (it was a different tech). Although they didnt cut my fingernail cuticles and i wish they did. Edited to 1 star because my toe is for sure infected. They must not sterilize tools.

I have been to this salon many times in the past. I walked in, waited, had my nails done by a male who seemed to want to go as fast as possible. I do not have a problem with that. It was painful at times. I wasnt upset until after when I waited for my ride I checked the charge to my card. I tipped in cash and the service amount was $35. The charge on my card was $42. I was told it was only for $35. When I showed the charge in my account they voided the charge and I paid with another card. That charge was $35 in my account. I was told the owners husband would call me and discuss this issue with me. I never received a call. This is what is prompting this review. I feel the male nail tech was padding the charge to receive an additional tip. I have not seen the reversal on my original card. So as it stands I paid $77 for my service.I am deeply disappointed. Im wondering if ownership has changed. Not everyone has a good day however Integrity must be maintained or clientele will not be.

Ive never tried gel nails before and loved that I could put on my regular closed toed shoes after not having to sit under a dryer for a half hour! Plus they will last for a super long time, too! They do a great job of improvising an acrylic big toe nail for me since I have a funny looking one (minor birth defect), that makes me feel normal and not embarrassed to show my toes!

Will not be returning.. The customer service wasnt horrible but the pricing is far too high for the quality of work! It was not busy at all when I was there yet the nail tech proceeded to rush her work and the outcome and final appearance definitely reflects this! When I asked the woman to fix a small but obvious mistake, she seemed to become frustrated with my request. When u get your nails done, u should never have to fix them when u get home.. Unfortunately, this is how I will forced to spend my afternoon!

Ive been here twice now...The first time I got a pedicure and it was AMAZING! Today I got the WORST manicure Ive EVER had! The girl that did my nails didnt soak my hands or my cut cuticles, she just started clipping and filing a way!! She used the Dremel to file my nails to the point of hurting and dug her nails into my fingers while turning them. She finished it off by rubbing on some lotion while yanking on my arm and fingers. In the end, my pink and white nails are uneven, very thick, and extremely square. Very disappointed!!! Hopefully I can fix them myself.

Had a pedicure done here and got an infection the next day. Let the salon know and they offered 15% off my next visit. As if I’d risk another infection for 15% off.... if you go here make sure you watch them clean their tools.

They always take good care of me even when they are very busy. They do their best no matter howany people are there to make you feel important and get the job done in a timely fashion. I drive past many salons to get to this one for a reason.

I went to P T Nails a few months ago on the spur of the moment; I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service I had which was a manicure and pedicure. They had a lovely red gel color I really liked. They told me to write the number down so I could request the color for next time I come in. Well, low and behold I went their sitting and getting a pedicure from the girl (Kim) informs me they are out of the color and they do not have that color in stock. She hands me the swatches and wants me to make a decision right away. The color I ended up getting was an orange/red which I cannot stand! Thats not all......I was her first customer of the day and she scrubbed my feet so hard they physically ache in pain. ☹️. I have had to soak my feet, take Ibuprofen and apply lotion to my feet just to subside the pain! I left this salon feeling very emotional because, there was a graduation party I was throwing for my son and his school color is RED!! I will NEVER be returning to this salon again!! CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!

I would not recommend this place. The first time we went was enjoyable but then every single time after that they didnt listen to our nail preferences. They charged us for a manicure even though we said no, rushed us and made our polish bubbly, and the most recent time I asked for an extra design and the woman was visibly ranting because I asked for that. I dont need to speak the language fluently to know what theyre talking about. Dont get me wrong, a couple of them are nice, but a lot of them are rude.

Great salon-- they always do an amazing job and theyre extremely reasonable in price. Very clean facility and nice, welcoming staff. I would make an appointment though, because theyve always been busy anytime Im there. Highly recommend!

Normally, I dont write reviews but I feel compelled to after my experience. The dip came out terrible,, Went there the other day just to get shellac removed. Ended up with dip. Felt pressured by the upselling. By the next morning it had already chipped off. And skin around the nail is so sore because of how they pulled at it. will return to my usual salon in the future. Skip this place.

Clean fast and friendly

She used polish that was too empty. It didnt dry well and when I showed it to her, all she did was put another clear coat on top. I was also disappointed in her lack of attention to detail. The polish wasnt applied very neatly.

Ive been here multiple times and have always left with beautiful nails and wonderful customer service.

I had never been here but picked it because it was the highest rated nail salon in forest lake, but I would never go back. I got a gel manicure. The lady I had was rough from the beginning but was very nice and apologetic after she cut my thumb terribly, making me bleed for literally 10 minutes until she super glued over it. She then painted over the giant lump of super glue.... there was nail polish all over the tips of my fingers when I left, she painted up over my cuticles so the nails were coming loose within a couple days, and cut me really bad in 2 places. There was also a huge chunk of something in the polish on one of my nails. The nails were all falling off within 5 days and were completely off one week after I got them. Very disappointed with the services I received and would not recommend going here.

I just got my nails done here. The lady was very nice and the price was fine. But as Im in the car 3 of my nails are crooked theyre all shaped weird and all of the lengths are different, I love the color of my nails but they were poorly done. Very rushed. Im not happy with them and I will not be returning here again.

Went to the salon to relax and have my nails done. I had an appointment. I sat down with the first lady and she was doing my nails and tried to use a dirty file on my nails. I was then passed off to another technician when a different customer came in. The same thing happened with my new tech and when I told her that using disposable porous files on more then one person is against the laws and regulations held by the board of cosmetology(myself being a licensed nail tech) she told me everyone does it to save money. I asked for a new one to be used. The environment was tense after that and they tried to use things on my nails I had stated I didnt want, as well as being unsanitary. I wouldnt recommend to anyone and Im sorry for those who arent educated to know the difference because it is a health hazard
