Have been a member of the Folsom 24 HR fitness for about 12 years. Always clean and staff is very friendly. I do miss the free towels they used to hand out.

I decided to visit this 24 Hr fitness in Folsom today as I’m in the area. After entering the building, looking around at the cleanliness and quality of the equipment, I’m a little upset with how nice this location is in comparison to the one in my hometown town. There was only one piece of equipment out of order, and there were SEVERAL of the items that my hometown gym only has one of.This location should be a model for other 24 Hr fitness locations to learn from.I am completely satisfied with my visit.

Some of the staff lucks basic customer service skills, are not polite and unprofessional. The gym itself is nice but they really need to improve some of their staff’s skills.

They were out of business. During the pandemic then suddenly they started to charge my account. In April of 2021, o never got a refund for the months not used.Now, they are refusing to credit my account.Check your records.

It’s open, it’s as clean as it was before and some people are wearing masks. What more can you expect from a weary society at this point?

All I can say is: Wow! I have been a longtime member of 24 Hour Fitness in Folsom. I waited for several months for its re-opening after its sudden March closing due to Covid. After cancelling my membership and adding all-club access to my current Spare Time Sports Club membership, I was thrilled when the Folsom 24 Hour opened again in early October.Negatives:1. EXTREMELY RUDE front desk staff. The first time I used the app check-in system, a rude guy at the front desk mansplained the procedure to me, not stopping to hear me say that I understood the process. Today, he turned away when I held up my phone upon entrance to show I had checked in. No acknowledgement whatsoever, although I was the only one there. When I asked if he had seen my check-in, he impatiently snapped, Yeah! and walked away.2. Except for a mandatory mask policy, which I have seen violated on the workout floor and in the locker room several times, there are zero safety precautions. No wipes, no hand sanitizer ANYWHERE. Still just cold water to wash hands. No paper towels in the locker room. No system to indicate if machines have been used. NO ONE cleaning machines.I will keep my membership, but I will probably not return until social distancing protocols have lifted in Sacramento. This facility demonstrates a near-total lack of concern for its customers.

Please please please put in more paper towel dispensers. Its filthy there. Just this morning the kid at the front counter at 5 am was playing a game . I get done and the towels are empty AGAIN !!! We pay good money to be there. How about holding up your end?? Cancel towel service and raise prices. Solid plan !?!? Im getting near the end of my rope patience-wise.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Very rude staff with the exception of one or two people.Signed cancellation paperwork 3 months ago, and it was not turned in by the person - Jerrod - at the front desk.I was charged 3 more months until I noticed, called them, explained the situation, and they said they’d call me back. Guess what! Never called me back.Called them 5 more times the next day and was repeatedly ignored and basically laughed at over the phone.This is not legal to not cancel my membership and continue charging me when I have signed the cancellation paperwork to terminate my contract.I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND!!DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM.TERRIBLE STAFF. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF.

Update: I am ducking three stars because the pandemic safety measures are not enforced. I see people taking off their masks on the floor and not sanitizing the equipments after use. If you are concerned about the virus, I recommend staying away. I am not going back until either they get serious about safety measures or pandemic is over.There are plenty of equipments for anyone. It can get crowded sometimes, but so far I haven’t had any issues. You are greeted every time you walk in and offered a towel. I don’t use the lockers, but you do need to bring your own lock or pay for the ones with lock on them. Men’s bathroom is very clean. Equipments are generally clean and racked properly. There are indoor pool, hot-tub, and basketball court. Other gym goers are generally kind and respectful. People tend to put their weights back, which goes to show their sense of maturity/responsibility.

Its okay with the outdoor situation. Limited machines means waiting 2 years for people to complete their last set.

These guys closed all the gyms, which is understandable, but theyre still charging me. I cant cancel my membership and they dont have anyone working customer service. Theyre basically stealing from me at this point.

Nice gym. Looks alot nicer inside then fr outside. It has multiple machine for different workouts. In the morning and afternoon it is not to crowded. The kids club is a good size and the staff that work with the kids are great. Overall the faculty is really nice and the employee are very friendly and helpful.

This gym was great to go to until I got more serious about lifting. The bench racks here do not have adjustable bar heights. That’s great for taller people, but since I’m shorter, I have to take my shoulders out of position and comprise them to get the bar off the rack. A lot of the equipment in the free weight and cable areas is in either sub-par or poor condition. The only time management bothers with the equipment back there is if something breaks. Also, some of the seat selectors on the benches and lat-pull down areas are rusted out.They’ve done a great job at replacing the power racks by the entrance of the gym, but that’s about it. For a 24 hour Supersport, I’d expect cleaner and more up-to-date equipment. Worst part is, after my two-year $700 membership deal, they asked me to pay $128 dollars in initiation fees...even though I’ve been at the gym for two years. I had to unfortunately oblige because there were no other gyms in the immediate area that had the amount of equipment 24hr had. I hear there’s a crunch that opened up in Folsom, so I’m considering taking my business elsewhere.

Aqua class instructor needs some training and also some music beyond the 1950s! Actually no music would even be an improvement. Not all of us are in our 80s, but forced to exercise in the pool due to joint injuries. Such a disappointment! Gear this to the Boomer generation! Music from late 60s and beyond! Oh and the hokey pokey...please stop!

I used to love this gym, until I decided to end my membership. The staff became super unhelpful and rude after that. I put a request in to end my membership, but ended up being charged the monthly and annual fee the following month. I went back to the gym to ask why I was still being charged and turns out my request to cancel was never put in by the front office staff member. I asked to talk to a manager about getting my money reimbursed since it was their mistake that my membership was still active and charging my account. And they said no manager was in but theyd put in another request to end my membership. I called a few times, but the managers were always on break or not there, and I never got a call back. I went to the gym a few times to talk to a manager, and of course a manager was never there then either. So after being given the run around for two months, I called the corporate office and they were finally able to end my membership, but werent able to refund me for the month I was charged after I asked to end the membership. They said all they could do was email my gyms manager and the manager would be able to do the refund. Well its been another month, and still havent heard from the manager. This is seriously the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Ive spent three months trying to contact a manager and havent been able to reach one. And Ive been charged $90 in the mean time, when I am no longer attending the gym and asked for my membership to be canceled. Horrible management and horrible customer service! I will never return to or recommend this gym to anyone!!!

Out of all the gyms and 24 hour gyms Ive ever worked out at....this is by far the worst.I cant even put my finger on it. The gym feels claustrophobic. The equipment, for being in Folsom, is older and outdated and the lighting is dimmer and harsher (how is that even possible)I have a bad feeling. Almost like Im being watched when Im in this gym. I cant describe it. The floor plan is awful.Its kind of funny that this is a super sport. Just go to the J Street 24 hour fitness for super sport, this one feels like a base level 24.This gym just feels dead.

Excellent gym. Very clean. Ive been to several Super Sports in San Fran and Vegas. This club beats them out as far as the quality and newness of the equipment. Its hardly ever crowed either.

Consistently clean and customer focused. The Folsom gym is less crowded than the downtown Super Sport, and offers all the group classes and functional training equipment expected of a quality gym. My favorite are the Les Mills Body Pump classes, killer HIIT training. The staff is always friendly and eager to help!

Very busy Monday - Wednesday after 5pm, Pool is a decent size with hardly anyone in it. The Gym floor is spaced out, one of the larger 24s in the area. They do offer towels to use at this gym and also have a mini shake bar for after your workout.

Love this gym and my awesome trainer Jason D.!!!!! Totally changed my life at this gym and so grateful.... Thanks to Jasons expert training Im running again and injury free!!! (And shopping for smaller clothes too yahoo!!!)

Great gym, clean and professional. Huge selection of equipment and great pool. Locker rooms and showers get cleaned on the hour.

Shayna at the front desk told me I couldnt come in because my card had expired. Not, did you know it was expired?. I have multiple cards and was genuinely surprised when she told me but still she chose an uppity attitude until I said So I cant come in? Then Shayna said yes just this time. Her tone was condescending, curt and humiliating as I was in front of other guests. Totally unnecessary. I hope Shayna remembers that she only works at a gym and doesnt have to play gatekeeper to feel proud of herself. I pay enough money to this corporation to not interact with someone devoid of respect and innate communication skills.

The short story is this: the facility is too small for the number of members. It is crammed into a strip mall and there is simply not enough room for everyone during peak hours. To compound the space problems, the club has installed an entire cube area for trainers in the middle of the floor, taking up precious floor space that should be used for additional equipment. I recommend making trainer stations mobile and getting rid of the cubes.The basketball gym has multiple issues. The hanging lights are way too low. On one side a light hangs directly behind the basket and the glare is horrible. Guys routinely hit the hanging lights with jump shots. The hanging lights need to be removed and replaced by ceiling flush lights with diffusion so there glare issue is eliminated. The floor is also uneven and was installed without offsets over the warped strip mall cement foundation. They will probably need to resurface the gym. Floor doesnt get buffed enough.The staff seems nice. The facility is clean. They dont have enough classes to appease the volume of members. There are only two (yes two) ab roller machines. I avoid this facility during peak hours. Too many people in too small a facility for me.

I like working out here. Its very stress-free and the employees are usually very helpful and considerate and welcoming. They go out of their way to make me feel like I should be there and I like that.

Everything you could want in a gym. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars in he past was the need for a second peck fly machine, but they just added one recently. Its open anytime. Really like this gym.

The gym facility is great, other than one blonde front desk rep who doesn’t know how to change a T.V. Station channel. Didn’t realize it’s so difficult for her to change a channel. We pay money for a membership, but can’t request. Channel change? Since when did they start hiring people who don’t know how to change a T.V. Station. If that’s the case, they might as well hire two year olds.

Love this gym more than the Roseville location. Super clean and nice staff! :) Theyre even starting to remember me when I walk in! I can stand to go this location just about everyday.

Bad behaving people at the reception.My friend had told me about this place, so I went to see it, while my friend was in their gym and was coming out in 15 minutes.First, they said I could wait in their lobby, but after 5 min the reception girl said I was loitering and must go out.Now, I understand what kind of administration they have. I dont want to register with them nor do I recommend anyone, who expects courtesy, to be their member. Maybe, having too many people, so they feel that they dont need to care.

Finally they got a new janitor and everything starting to get clean I like working out at this gym now come try them out and check out the place!!

The gym itself was fine but the billing practices are very shady. I called a month early to let them know I didnt not want to renew my contract. They literally told me no. Ended up having to pay a 13month to cancel. Will never go back.

This a well run location. We have all see not well run 24s. This one is awesome.

Its okay only if youre going to this gym in the morning.Although its a big gym and open 24 hours, In the evenings, it gets so crowded, I felt like Entire Folsom seems to be in this gym...!!The swimming pool is big enough.Dont get into the jacuzzi, Unless you want to skin allergies.

Im there all the time and being that it is open 24 hours a day you can go at anytime you so desire. Not only that but theyre all over the United States and I have the All Sport membership which includes all 24 hour fitnesses throughout the United States. So if I want to travel I can and stop in for a workout. Some of the facilities provide towels for you such as one in Folsom California but the two in Citrus Heights and Rancho Cordova do not provide towels.

I came in a couple days ago and I signed up for a 3 day free pass to this gym to see if I actually wanted to get a membership and when I came in I got a weird look and was told that I need and I.D , when I signed up it didnt say I had to bring any identification , all I wanted was to try this gym out to see if I wanted a gym membership, who brings a I.D to a gym? But Im boolin , wouldnt recommend this gym if you want that 3 days pass! Well Im out peace out boi 🤘🏻

The comments complaints I see on here are probably people that havent been with 24 hr folsom very long, Ive been with 24 folsom since the days when they were over at the old converted Lucky grocery store location and then it was really nice, staff was helpful and knowledgeable even when they got their new current location it was still like that up until about 5 years ago when the staff change and only upgraded a few equipment, I wouldnt say not all the staff are rude and not helpful but it is not same gym as it used to be plus folsom gotten a lot bigger and a lot more people are coming to 24 folsom, they do need to put some staff at front that want to be there and are people person.

Super sport gyms are nice

I get my guts ripped apart here but love the trainer I have here. A lot of equipments, basket ball courts, awesome swimming pools and a lot of other things which I havent explored.

Best Super Sport around. The staff is awesome, the people who go there arent meatheads, and the parking is ample

This is literally so gross I cant even. I took a tour and got a pass and it was unbearable that I only used this place for a day lol and did I mention its way to crowded ?Life Time Fitness offers a better experience without the filth and creeper men always staring and hitting on me

We go in morning and want to watch news while exercising. But most of the times its always sports programs or half the TVs have 24 hr fitness programs. We want to have those TVs which are designated for news to have news channel all the time automatically.Considering other sports clubs options as well.

My experience at the club has been great but the front door girl Francesca needs to be fired. Shes the worst front desk associate Ive experienced, in any business, in my entire life. Shes rude, disrespectful, and acts as if youre stupid for asking any questions. Shes obviously not fit for a front desk job. I give her a negative 1,000,000 stars for her terrible attitude.
