Mary at Labcorp in Folsom is the best! She greeted me with a smile as she asked me to sign in. She was professional and knowledgeable. I’ve been to many labs and met a lot of lab technicians and this experience was the best. I was very impressed with Mary’s personality, her undivided attention and how easy and efficient the process was. This lab is out of my way but I’ll make the drive back here when needed. Customer service is more important than ever these days in determining where people do business. Mary made my day with her exceptional service.

They literally had ONE person working here during a busy morning last week. I cant blame the guy for not being able to get through everyone in a timely manner with no help- but he didnt even seem to care that the waiting room was full of frustrated people. My husband was recovering from surgery and having to wait so long was very painful for him.

Would leave a 0 star review if possible. Unacceptable customer service (coming from someone who works in customer service) and an hour and a half wait time with no way to schedule an appointment. When the male receptionist was asked about making an appointment he explained that he doesnt have time to answer the phones inorder to schedule appointments. Been to this place before and had a pleasant experience with the female receptionist. However, will not be returning due to this awful experience with awful treatment to multiple customers.

I walked in to take a urinalysis test the people at the front desk rudely told me to come back later because they were on lunch even though the sign on the door said lunch had ended 15 minutes prior and the door sign said come in we are open. I didnt deal with them that much but the little interaction I had with them was definitely below one star service.

Whats the point of making an appointment? Im still sitting here (well past my appointment time) with a room full of people. Looks like only 1 employee is working here. Ugh! I suggest trying a different location or lab.

This can be a very busy location and there is only one person running the entire operation. If people want faster service, they need to go online and schedule an appointment, otherwise its just like the DMV where you have to wait your turn, after the appointments are met.The lady doing all the work is very friendly and helpful but she tends to talk to much to people instead of getting right to the next patient. She is very good at drawing blood and usually, you cant even feel the needle going in. Overall, like most of us these days, the person is very overworked because shes doing everything there, which is why the wait can be so long and drawn out.People who have no patients should go somewhere else, since anywhere else will give you just as long as a waiting time, if you dont make an appointment first.

Made the mistake of scheduling an appointment here; walk ins were processed while my appointment time came and went. Front desk had difficulty figuring out the paperwork and payment and whether she could arrange a timely FedEx pickup when she checked the sign in sheet nearly an hour after my appointment (then she let us all know that making an appointment doesnt have anything to do with anything).Front desk also tried to turn away a lady there for an A1C draw by barking at her that drug screenings (?) werent done after 3pm and that shed have to come back another day.Bad day, I guess. Will find somewhere else to get blood drawn.

The lady at front desk is extremely rude. She doesnt know how to deal with people. I will not go over there again. Horrible customer service. They should hire someone with good attitude.

I originally went in on Friday around a little before 9 for my glucose tolerance. I waited like 20 minutes and then was promptly told by Mary that I came to late for my testing because itll interfere with their lunch, which it wont because I wouldve finished just before 12. So that was pretty crappy considering i was fasting for this test. So I went in on Saturday and stood there till they opened at 8. It was pretty quiet that day and got helped right away. During my 3 hour stay i was treated with respect by a wonderful lady who even asked me what vein worked the best for me, striked up conversation and just all around was a nice lady who knew her job and did it well. The place was nicely done, spacious, clean and had a neutral atmosphere. The bathroom needs some TLC but it doesnt effect my rating of this place. All in all I give this place 4 stars for my Friday experience because it felt unprofessional to refuse service to someone because the service they need will cut it too close for your liking.Note to management: even if someone requires a service thatll end even a minute before your lunch, that doesnt give your employees the right to look at the service needed and refuse it. I understand you guys close for lunch but to blatantly tell a customer no due to convenience is unprofessional and can harm any business regardless if its in the medical field or retail.

Rude Staff! Plain and simple. Watched them treat the two customers ahead of me rudely and then experienced it myself. Last thing I was going to do was let some inept, overweight, unhappy Labcorp employee stick me with a needle so I left. This lab is the bottom of the barrel

The most horrible staff I have ever seen in my life. Mary - nurses name is extremely rude, looks like she has personal issues with people. If she doesnt like someone she allows herself to be rude, arrogant. Totally not trained, having no idea about customer service. Moreover, I am not sure I was satisfied witht the blood work procedure, doesnt meet hygiene standards. And it is impossible to prove anything because she lies about what she said and did. Will never recommend to go there.
