I called to ask if they could work on my sunroof on my 2004 Mercedes and I heard a gentleman in the background telling the person I was speaking to that “it can’t be repaired, the vehicle is too old”. First off, it’s not that old and for a car that was $80k new I would think there are people who know how to work on these, it’s not a throw away car. Second, a polite, I’m sorry, we can’t help you with this would have been just fine, but yelling in the background and saying “ the car is too old”, is unprofessional at the very least. I had other things I need worked on but I guess I’ll go elsewhere, I don’t need bad attitudes.

The price was a lot higher than some other shops but they were the only one with an availability. For the amount of money I paid, I expected the shop to have a computer to assess any error codes. They did not have one. Furthermore, the technicians did not let me know that one of the window regulators on the vehicle was broken. I found out at another mechanic when my window could not return to the up position. The cost of the regulator itself is close to $1000.The employees were very polite. I just wished the service was more detailed and comprehensive to reflect the cost.

Its sometimes challenging to find a new shop youre comfortable taking your car to but I always heard good things about this place even when they were back in EDH. My Boxster threw a generic code (P1128), it had done this last year during the gas formula change (winter to summer), I put good gas in and cleared the code. It was great until this year, but this time the code came back. I scheduled an appointment and Jeremy suggested we just check the code and see where we land. It turned out to be a loose hose clamp. A smoke test proved it. Bryan was the technician and suggested I clean the engine (it looked like there may be slight leaks), he took pictures of everything, all the checks he did, the places with oil and coolant caked on (did I mention it was a 2000 Boxster S?). It is like new now. Great job!!!

Foreign Autohaus ruined my 1998 MB with only 120K miles. The airbag (SRS) light was on as the carpet got little wet under the front passenger seat. I called 2 other guys before taking it to Autohaus. The other 2 already said they dont want to work on it as its old without seeing it. Autohaus did check but sent it to the junk yard in Sacramento without informing me. I dont know what they said to the insurance? It is the most beautiful red MB in Folsom. I have got 100s of complements from people , the dealer, friends, and the other service guy. We are so frustrated for no communication, disrespectfulness to the customer, and SENDING IT TO THE JUNKYARD, where it got hit in the bumper by the bulldozer and the paint is chipped. We got it fixed from MB Motors Werkes in Cameron Park. The most honest, loyal, trustworthy, and kind person. Try him once and you will not go back to anyone else. Autohaus tried to kill my beautiful baby. I will never forgive FA. I would rate them ZERO.

I came here for routine service and I appreciated the attention to detail, pictures that correlate with their recommendations and timeliness. However, this is the height of the pandemic and all of the employees were walking around without masks. It sends the message that they dont care if their customers or our family members get sick or die from an easily transmitted and lethal virus. A no contact option would be appreciated.

Brought in 2010 c300 Mercedes to for headlight repair. Told the staff that wires were melted. Still charged way too much for diagnostic. Rude in professional staff with little car knowledge.

However, Johnny fit me in last minute, provided me a repair that beat the cost of the dealership, and was able to complete my entire repair in one day. They even offered to refer me to another shop if they couldn’t get me in as soon as I needed. They absolutely took car of me and my family when we went there for repairs. They only charged us a half hour service fee for the work we originally needed done, then when we decided to do the recommended repairs he had for us they rushed to make sure they got those repairs down in no kore than a day. Foreign Autohaus has always given me A1 GREAT SERVICE.Back in 2013 I had just gotten back from Deployment, & I was being stationed in El Paso, Tx. Foreign Auto, completely checked through my 2003GS300 Lexus for anything that may needed to be serviced because I was gonna be driving my Lexus from Sacramento Ca, to back to El Paso, Tx. They serviced my Timing Belt, Brakes & Rotors, air conditioner, all my fluids, door locks, tires, lights (front & rear) filters, etc. At that time I had 145,000 miles on the car & after the Service their, I drove it to El Paso, Tx & was stationed there for 6 months & had not one single problem to go wrong with my car. Even driving it back to Sacramento Ca, I didn’t have any issues with my car either.I still have that same car with 194,500 miles on it & it’s still being serviced by Foreign Auto which has relocated now from El Dorado Hills, Ca to Folsom, Ca.I give Foreign Auto ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We just took our VW EOS to Rafael at Foreign Autohaus and he was fantastic. We initially took the car to the dealer for an oil leak and they wanted to do $4,000 in repairs. We called Foreign Autohaus and discussed what the dealer had told us and Rafael had great insight into what was most likely the problem. We decided to go with Autohaus and took in the car. They quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved the leak and found that what the dealer wanted to do was not necessary as they didnt take the time to really see the issue at hand. Rafael saved us a ton of money and fixed the car the right way. We are so pleased with our experience and have found a new home for all our import car needs.

I have a BMW Z4 that had an SRS problem. The SRS issue was repaired but I needed a Mechanic to just turn its light off. This is a few seconds to 1 minutes job at the most. They wanted $138 to essentially flip a light switch in a room on or off.Well... Thanks... I dont think so. The dealership does it complementary.The mechanic/owner just called and referred to me with every colorful names in the book for writing to you about him. He said if you want a cheap f...ing labor go buy a Honda.The guy has issues****** STAY AWAY ******

Worst experience ever, and I’ve had some bad one. Dropped my Mercedes for a service A, witch is pretty much an oil change and was it would be done in a few hours. Went back after 4 hours and the car was still where I left it. Once I show up, they pulled it in and started working on it. Supposedly they finished everything in an hour. I’m sure they didn’t even change the air filter, because I over heard a conversation with the technician saying the air filter doesn’t fit and they need to order another one. Despite that the car was given back to me after 5 min saying everything is done. They didn’t even put back everything the way it was where the air filter goes. Will never go there again

What a great operation! In my 50+ years of driving Ive never felt as comfortable or satisfied with a repair shop as I am Autohaus. Great people, knowledgeable staff, fair prices, and they stand behind their work. Wouldnt think about taking our Mercedes or BMW anywhere else.

If you value honesty in your mechanic this is the shop you should be coming to.When I replaced the wheels on my wifes Mercedes (bought before we met) I discovered that one of the lug bolts was sheared off inside the wheel hub and another lug bolt was missing and I couldnt screw a bolt into the hole because the threads were warped and rusted.Firestone initially told me they could fix the hub but called me back the next day trying to charge me a ridiculous amount for a new hub (more than double than Mercedes charges) and 2 hrs at $135/hr to install. I took the car back and used a $10 easy out tool to remove the sheared off hub so I could attach at least 4/5 lug bolts and ordered a new hub from Mercedes. After looking around for a reputable shop to install the new hub I found Foreign Autohaus on google and called to make an appointment. Raphael (the owner) answered and after explaining the problem he offered to loan me his own thread chaser to see if I could fix the hub myself before making an appointment. That night I chased the thread on both of the problem wheel hub holes and the new lug bolts fit like a glove afterward.Im returning the new hub to Mercedes for a refund today and all together Foreign Autohaus saved me at least $450 in parts and labor ($750 if you go by what Firestone wanted). Im extremely pleased and will be going back to this shop for all of my future service and repairs.

Almost as expensive as the dealer but they do know their high-end cars and do a good job. The location is very convenient and they can give you a lift within the area. Keep an eye out for discount coupons that they offer.
