I was amazed at the professional courtesy and they had me fixed and up and running in no time. These guys are great not to mention a small home town shop that cares. I needed a used 14 tire just to make my Camaro movable in the body shop. Called a few of the big name tire places with no luck when one of them suggested I try Art at Bidwell Automotive. When I called him up, he told me to come on over, he was sure he could help. Within a minute of me arriving, he not only located the tire but one of his guys immediately mounted it on my rim. When I went to pay, Art told me dont worry about it. Of course, getting such genuine, old school customer service was so refreshing, I insisted. Art truly cares about providing the best service he possibly can. He even took the time to recommend a quality chassis fabrication shop for my project. These guys are great! This was my 1st time going to this shop as I was recommended by a friend and in a tight squeeze Bidwell Automotive Inc definitely delivered. I just needed a starter in my car and the car starts up hella smooth and quick, just like new, and was done in a very reasonable amount of time. I had a pretty large sized dent on my front bumper, and wanted it to be fixed asap. I was able to bring it in at opening and get it again right after work with no issues or hassles. Very good value for what you pay, and all the employees are kind and efficient. Definitely will go again in the future if/as needed!

Best Mechanic in Nor Cal period, definitely my go to shop if I need anything done. Art, Spencer, and the gang really are the best in town! Since I don’t have a lot of time in my hands, the guys really get it done with class and perfection. Art was incredible! He was super nice and genuine as well as being very knowledgeable. He made me feel really comfortable about the repairs needed on my car and gave his honest opinion on the safety and reality of if it would be fixable. Happy to say my car is running like a dream! The best service ever experienced! Art was informative, honest and patient with my unexpected flat tire. He offered excellent service early Saturday morning. When my towing service was taking too long to arrive, Art made the extra effort to meet me where my car had the flat tire down the street from his shop. He is truly a professional and cares about his customers.

Good customer service. Art was friendly, honest, and gave us a good discount because we had quite a few repairs to be done. He helpfully explained what was done to the vehicle. They seem to have good policies here. 2014 Hyundai Elantra with damaged steering fixed in a timely manner. Very satisfied. Im sure we will return.

Very friendly and helpful people here. had a few issues with my vehicle and they took the time to solve all of my issues. they have no problem letting you know exactly whats wrong and even let me use a scanner for my check engine light.

I do 95% of my own mechanical work. Driving over 40k miles per year, sometimes work needs to be done when I’m on the road. Today, I had some suspension noise that I couldn’t identify on my own - I dropped into Bidwell Automotive and Tire two hours after they closed. Art was kind enough to put my van on the rack so we could see what was going on. Got it diagnosed quickly and saw that it was safe enough to get me home. They didn’t even get any work out of me, so I really appreciate the help. I know my way around a garage pretty well, and you can tell a fair amount about a mechanic by how he keeps the shop. I was heading to one of the large tire depots on Bidwell St when I spied this place and headed over. I got fast attention and friendly service. The tire I needed wasn’t in so they ordered it and later afternoon I went back to collect. They do more than tires and kindly spent the time to discuss some mechanical Issa with my work van. I highly recommend them.

I went into the office right before closing and Art was fantastic. I had a bit of a challenge for them, a ridiculously stripped bolt in the intake manifold. Not only did they get it out, he had me bring it down to the shop right away and it was finished by the next morning and at a greatly reduced price than what I was quoted. Ill use Bidwell for everything I am unable to do myself for sure! Way to go gents!

Very helpful. They didnt charge me for a diagnostics test and did my cars tune up in 25 minutes. I would highly recommend them! Definitely the best auto repair shop in the area!

This is the first good experience I’ve had with a mechanic shop. They were very thorough and did a breakdown of what was recommended to have done now and what could be revisited. I was able to get my car back the same day. I will be returning for all service and maintenance.

This is the Best place to get your car fixed!!! The new owner is amazing! I brought my mustang in because the signal light wasnt working. They immediately started to work on my car. The guys checked it & showed me that it wasnt the light bulb, but a possible faulty socket. They got it working again and told me they can change out the socket if it keeps shorting out. They didnt charge me! The old owners did a great job at finding new owners that are honest & great people that treat you like family! I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop. I am so happy I have an honest & trustworthy place to take my cars.

Im so pleased with this place!!As a woman, often times I feel that the prices are always quoted higher, when it comes to motor vehicles and shops...Took my car elsewhere in Folsom that I was having some issues with. I just wanted to get an idea what it would cost to fix it. I didnt care for the quote that I received. I notices this new shop that used to be I believe a tire shop. Figured I should try this place as well before I make my decision. Im so glad I did, got a better quote and quality work done .I was greeted by the new owner Art, he is also a Folsom resident, has 2 little girls that he adores. Right away I felt that he was all about costumer satisfaction. He was very knowledgeable answered all my questions. Simply a humble man that wont rip you off, for sure!Im very pleased with everything. I wont be shopping around anymore when it comes to our cars. This shop pretty much does everything. I had been a customer of this shop for well over twenty years as Bob Briggs and his wife Jenny built quite a legacy with their friendly, honest, and no nonsense approach to taking care of their customers. And now since Art has taken over the shop, keeping the same mechanics, I see no real drop off in their service (as I’ve had a couple oil change led and some new tires). I’m looking Forward to continuing this long-term relationship with Art and his team!

Thank you BIDWELL AUTOMOTIVE! My battery died in the Target Parkinglot on East Bidwell street and I didnt know what to do and with Covid going around nobody was willing to give me a Jump start! I called Bidwell Automotive and Alex came out and jump started my battery and installed the new battery for me and didnt even charge me extra! These are good people and they are my new favorite shop in Folsom!

I called the other day looking for some old used brake rotors for my home gym setup - every other shop in town refused to help me out, but a fantastic guy named Alex here immediately invited me over and even helped load them into the car for me. Cant speak for the actual car technicians, but the customer service here is fantastic.

They have recently given this place a face lift and it looks amazing. Art (the owner) is always there to help you understand what is going on. He’s honest and doesn’t sell you what you don’t need. Happy to know they’ve kept the same staff they’ve had for years under the previous owner. I won’t take my car anywhere else for an honest diagnosis. Highly recommend this place.

Came in to get some wiring redone in my VW, this place came highly recommended & didn’t disappoint. Problem was assessed, was in and out on a Monday no less in under an hours time and would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely return with any other car issues and/or improvements needed. First off, this place used to be OK Tire (owned by Bob). Sometimes when businesses change hands, the quality suffers, but when we brought my husbands SUV to Art, the new owner of Bidwell Automotive, his service did not disappoint! My radiator went out on my commuter car. It was Saturday and I called Bidwell Automotive. Not only did they evaluate the problem, they installed a new radiator in about an hour! The owner, Art, is a very hard working , honest man. I will take my cars back to this business in a heart beat!

I brought my car in because I was having battery issues, thought it mightve been my alternator. Had gone to Autozone and they tested my battery (after a jump) and said it was fine. It didnt start again less than a week later.Art and his team were super helpful. They offered to replace my battery with a new, quality battery with warranty, but when they took out my existing one they saw it had a warranty. I decided to save money and go get a free battery replacement from the original place of purchase, but wanted to still leave a review for Bidwells outstanding customer service.10/10 would recommend.
