We were test driving a used car that looked great and had low mileage, but we wanted the assurance of a mechanic’s confirmation that there were no major mechanical problems with the car. We called the Fishers Christian Brothers shop where this car had been regularly serviced. The service manager quickly pulled up his record of service and readily answered any questions we had about the car. We felt assured that this was a worthwhile purchase.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and customer service provided by Christian Auto Brothers. I had an appointment set ahead of time but they called me to reschedule because they had overbooked. It wasn’t a big deal to me just a minor inconvenience. I showed up on the day of and met with the friendly staff. They welcomed me as I walked in the door. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They let me know what they were doing every step of the way. I found out I didn’t need new brakes. They texted me a whole vehicle inspection report. Detailed information with pictures. They brought my car around for me. I walked up to pay and they said no charge. I was floored. I expected to pay at least something but they sent me off free of charge. My experience couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend Christian Auto Brothers. They blessed me greatly and they will you too! I will surely come back when I need car work done.

I cannot recommend Christian Brothers, in fact my honest advice would be to take your car for a second opinion if they give you an estimate for work needed after an inspection. I took my car for an inspection for an “airplane sound” upon acceleration. The recommendation after inspection was to replace all four wheel bearings and the estimated cost was $2700 - $2800. I had done some basic research before dropping my car off and the total for the recommended work seemed WAY out of line based off what I researched. That afternoon I talked to a mechanic at Mazda and a mechanic that owns an independent shop. The first thing each said was that they had NEVER seen a car which needed all four wheel bearings replaced at the same time. The independent shop quoted me about $1500 if that was the work that really needed to be completed. Here’s the kicker, the report that Christian Brothers sent me showed 3 pictures of wheel bearings that needed replaced, but the one, yes I said ONE that actually needed to be replaced, was not any of the ones pictured. The independent mechanic ended up fixing the one wheel bearing for around $300. I’m not saying don’t go to Christian Brothers, but I would definitely get a second opinion on major work.

I have been to Christian Brothers for auto repair several times. I have never been unhappy with the results. They are courteous, professional and will get the repair done the first time. They may not be the cheapest but they are one of the best.

Great experience with Christian Brothers! We had an ongoing issue with our Honda for months. We took it to multiple dealerships and they couldn’t ever properly diagnose and wanted to charge us 2k to replace alternator as a “best guess”. Christian Brothers had a proper diagnosis within a few hours and replaced the part for less than half the price. 3 weeks later and things still working great!

So good. Wow. I took my car in for an alignment and they tested it and came right back telling me I didnt need an alignment. When does this ever happen. That is honesty at its finest. I will use these people again and I highly recommend.

Went to Indiana to visit some friends, and my car stopped accelerating and shifting gears properly once I got there (its automatic). I live in PA so I couldnt take it back on the highway as it was too risky for such a long drive. My friends mother recommended me this place so I called and explained to them what was going on. I was able to bring my car in the same day, and within a couple hours they called to tell me a piece of the transmission line had rusted and was leaking fluid. They gave me an estimate and had my car fixed and ready the next morning. I drove it back to PA the same day with no issues and a very smooth transmission. Super appreciate the quick turnaround as well, as I really did need my car fixed urgently. Excellent service and excellent price from this place.

Professional, dedicated, knowledgeable and very responsive people, just got my car back after a major repair, the quality of work will be premature to judge, however, overall a great experience at this place.

I brought in my car on a Friday for a quick inspection and they determined they would need a closer look, so I was scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Monday at 4pm rolls around so I call the shop to know whats going on-(I actually expected a quick quote and then I MAY have let them repair the car). I was told that the car was just brought in to be looked at when I called at 405pm. Rightfully irritated, I inquired why an appointment was necessary if it was going to take 5 hours to be inspected after dropping the car off. Foolishly assuming an appointment time would be a general time my car would be looked at, I was told that other cars took longer to look at. Now, I am actually an Emergency Room Nurse at a local metropolitan Trauma center and I thought 5 hours was pushing it. Having served in the armed forces I cannot bring myself to patronize a business that couldnt at least give a courtesy call or an attempt to smooth things over. Not expecting any special treatment, maybe my Iraq War Veteran plates is something they dont like or respect? Who knows. Roll the dice if your time is valuable would be my recommendation. They have wasted at least 3 days for me. Today(of course), 1 day of not having a repair and at least 1 day to find a more suitable repair shop. Being from out of state as well, its a real gut-punch. -Kevin

UPDATE #3:After some hesitation, I did return for the free oil change. So far, so good. They didnt try to give me conventional oil (I have a high mileage car and use semi-synthetic) even though it was a free oil change, which was appreciated. They have yet to email me my receipt, which Id like so I have documentation of the oil change, but I will call later and ask for it to be emailed.UPDATE #2:I called and asked to be told EXACTLY what they did when they checked my brakes and rotors, and they clarified all they did was take the wheels off (so the brake fluid leak might not have been them). I told them about the cross-threaded lug nut and that the lug stud and lug nut then had to be replaced. They were very apologetic and surprised it happened and offered a free oil change (which I really wasnt expecting). I am (and have been from the beginning) impressed with their customer service! Well see how this oil change goes!UPDATE:Not a great experience at all. They ended up doing more damage than anything. Something wasnt re-tightened properly and my brake fluid began to leak while I was driving. Additionally, one of the lug nuts was cross threaded as they were putting my wheels back on, which made it near impossible to get it off and damaged the lug stud itself and along with the lug nut which I then had to replace. They made things much worse than they were to begin with. I understand mistakes happen, but these were two pretty major mistakes on something that was pretty simple.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I had a great experience here. I called in the morning (10 am) and asked if they would do a complimentary check on my rotors and brakes, as I had been hearing some rubbing noises. They got me in at 11, and immediately offered to give me a ride. I ended up staying in the waiting room (the nicest auto mechanic waiting room Ive ever been in), and two different people offered me a beverage while I waited and made sure I was able to connect to the WiFi. They were extremely kind. After about an hour, they let me know everything looked good, showed me pictures they had taken of my rotors and brakes, and in no way indicated I should need any service from them. I thanked them and left without paying a dime. Im so grateful they were so kind and attentive and didnt charge for an inspection. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive and will be returning when I need work done on my car. I also overheard they offer Triple A discounts.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Appointment made for scheduled maintenance. Dropped off at 7am and even asked when I wanted to pick it up that day. I said just call when it’s done and I’ll pick it up since I need it the next dayNo call until I called the following morning to check status. I was disconnected because someone doesn’t know how to use a phone and then was greeted with a message that they haven’t even looked at it yet and don’t know any status. No apology for not servicing the car or hanging up one me. I told them not to touch the car and I’ll pick it up. The fact that a manager didn’t call me in the next two hours before I got the car is unbelievable.Newsflash on customer service - do what you say you will do. If you can’t - communicate. I have been taking my Fiat to the dealership for the past 5 years because I understood how difficult it was to find an auto service shop that you could truly trust. Moving up north forced me to look elsewhere as I could no longer make the hour trip to the dealership. When I searched on Google, Christian Brothers was one of the only few who had great reviews. I was still skeptical but I went ahead and tried them out... and they did not disappoint. I told them what I needed and they got it done, no hassle or questions asked. They also offer a shuttle service which made it very convenient and did not have to miss a lot of work. For those of you who have been screwed by other auto shops and have a difficult time trusting them, try Christian Brothers! They are so nice and very knowledgeable. It seems they treat their employees great and we, as consumers benefit from that!

Wow! Seriously, wow! The service at Christian Brothers Automotive Fishers is the platinum standard - forget gold. I was loyal to a family owned automotive business specializing in imports for years. Sadly, every aspect started to decline. I was referred to Christian Brothers. From the first, friendly, informative phone call to pick up, service was seamless. Let me add in I was frantic, unclear and worried about getting my car serviced before driving 1000 miles on a holiday weekend. I have now had my car there twice. The second visit was equally stellar. My car was finished quickly and perfectly. Have to be in the office? They offered me a ride - and a coffee to go. This team is professional, friendly and meticulous. My recent encounter was not good. My car died in the middle of the highway and I had it towed only to find out that my cooling fan needed to be replaced . Well there is the issue Fishers CB repaired and replaced that less than a year ago with a refurbished part but charged me for a new part. They did replace it but when picking up my car after being in their possession for a week the driver side outside mirror was damaged.I told them to look at and they are trying to charge me $400+ dollars for a damage I did not cause and happened under their care and possession of my car.I have lost all trust and respect for their integrity and doing what is right for the customer. First you put a faulty part in my car, then you charge me for a new part when the part was old and refurbished and lastly you further damaged my car in your possession and hen try to charge me.VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!!

Christian Brothers Automotive (Fishers, IN) is without a doubt the best auto repair shop I’ve ever worked with. Aside from being outstandingly courteous each and every time I’m there, they offer great service for an affordable rate. The most important thing I’ll say about this business and their management team (believe his name is Carey), is that they will help you out in a pinch. I had 5% oil life remaining all of a sudden (and I travel for work). They had me in extra early the next morning and had me on my way just so that I wouldn’t be inconvenienced. I don’t know of too many places willing to help you like that. Cheers to a great team in a great town.

Jared and team at CB are always friendly, welcoming, and on point. They take care of my vehicle and myself in a professional, timely, and caring manner. With other dealerships and companies, I’ve been told I needed expensive services far before it’s time to actually have them performed but I’ve never had that problem with CB. Great service every time! Honest technicians. Used them since 2013 in Concord, NC and then since 2015 here in Fishers. They have the same great service and fair prices here. Most of the complaints I hear seem to be first-time customers that havent kept up on their maintenance. You do get what you pay for.

They were very helpful and accomodating - even going as far as working with insurance to make sure everything was taken care of. Theyve got a repeat customer in me because of their incredible customer service.

Very honest people. I took my car in for an alignment because I thought the steering wheel was off center. They ran an inspection and it turns out the car was perfectly fine, it was just my perception. They gave me back my car and didnt even charge me for the inspection. They could have easily just done the alignment and charged me $120 regardless. I was very impressed by their integrity. These are definitely people you can trust and rely on.

We brought our car in a with a really bad sounding belt and knocking sound 2 weeks ago. The tech did their service check and said we needed new strut assembly and also said the belt would be fixed. The cost for everything $1800. The loud squealing belt sound is still happening. Really wish the tech could diagnosis the fix correctly the first time so we don’t have to take another day to deal with the issue. This is our one and only car and we use it to commute to work and pick up our child from daycare so it’s not convenient having to go back. If you use them, please know multiple trips may happen to you too.Update: The shop contacted me about this review the day after this was posted and wanted to get it taken care of. I brought my vehicle back in and they addressed the issue with the belt, which required the tension to be tightened a little more. The shop manager Kerry apologized for the inconvenience.

Service was great. There was a billing error and the duplicate charge was removed instead of saying that there were more parts or more time needed. Cost me half of what the dealership quoted.

You couldnt ask for more caring awesome people. We called to see how much the bill was going to be to get 2 C.V. joints replaced on our 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Tom, who is the store manager, answered the phone and was extremely friendly, courteous and informative. Tom gave me a quote and I told him it would have to be mid Jan. He said no worries & to give us a call when your ready, and we will book it in. I rang back and spoke to Tom and to book the car in. And, because we couldnt drive it, they had it towed to their shop the night before. Tom phoned me the next day and told us what was wrong exactly. We thought we would have to get both of the front C.V. joints done. Tom then said the right side was in good shape for another 10,000 miles. We asked Tom to go ahead and fix 2 other things that he had mentioned when I phoned back the next day to check the status of our car. Tom said that the part they had ordered had been damaged and he was not going to put a damaged part on a car, which really impressed us as most mechanics would pull a fast one. Our Car wouldnt be ready till the next day so I expressed concern as my hubby is diabetic and needed medication to be picked up. Tom offered to get Jared, the owner, to pick me up to take me to the pharmacy and pickup my hubbies medication so that my hubby could have them that same night. These guys ROCK!!! My hubby also agrees with this review 100%.

The personnel is very welcoming and they keep you in the loop with what is going on with your automobile. They explain things in laymans terms so anyone can understand. I always take our vehicles to Christian Brothers. They do excellent work. They are also very honest, which is great for me because I dont know very much about cars. But what I love most is that when I have a lengthy repair they will take me to work. It is great not to have to waste time waiting for my car to be repaired when I could be at work getting things done and earning money.

Extremely disappointed!!! We were told by this shop we needed to replace the transmission ($3500) in our 2006 Honda; however, this was untrue. Just picked it up from another shop and transmission works perfectly! ($537) Animal chewed thru wires & safety feature was activated to protection mode. 18 month guarantee on repair. BEWARE of this shop!

My car was close to being a goner due to the negligence of another place (who shall remain nameless).Christian Brothers took car of my car and Kerry actually went above and beyond by calling the responsible party informing them of his thoughts on them taking responsibility for their negligence, because of that their initial decision of not paying for their mistake was reversed. Absolutely overpriced and have zero integrity. Instead of owning up and fixing the issue at hand they will avoid you. If the manager states that he will call you back please note that he will not. When you call back he will say he tried to call you and list off a phone number with the last digit changed. This has occurred to me and 1 other person that I know of. I would never recommend this repair shop to anyone.

This is a great place to take your vehicle (any vehicle). I have been there twice in the last 6 months with two separate, minor issues. The first time was regarding replacing a tire. Unfortunately they didnt carry the tire or have access to it because it was a special tire. However, Tom walked outside on a very cold day to check the condition of my spare. He said it was in great condition and didnt actually need to be replaced. I could get several thousand more miles out of it. He was spot on!I called last week on a Wednesday evening because my check engine light was on and had been for a while (this was not an unusual issue, but it usually went off after a brief period). He told me to they could get me in the very next morning at 7. When I arrived he knew exactly who I was and took my car right in. They had my vehicle in the shop for no more than 15 minutes. Tom came out and told me that he had taken care of everything (it turned out to be a very simple fix). While he did that, he also explained why my tire light was on and calibrated it correctly, and then took care of a light that wasnt working (without charging me extra).Not only were they able to get me in quickly, but they were able to get me out quickly as well, all while taking care of every issue and then some.Thank you, Christian Brothers Automotive! They educated me on their thought process in regards to what might be wrong with my car, and then helped me understand why the tests/parts they recommended were necessary. I felt comfortable that they were truly just doing what was necessary and not trying to do more tests/work than necessary, although Im not sure how the cost of the labor/services compares to other local repair shops. I would recommend their services.

I always feel like I get individual attention from the staff, as well as getting my car taken care of by people who know what theyre doing. This time something that was a minor fix was taken care of without additional cost. Definitely above and beyond. We service all 4 family cars there and I tell everyone I know who needs auto care about you guys.

I highly recommend this place! They are all so nice and worked very quick. I live less than a mile away so I was planning to walk home and back when my car was finished, but they offered to drive me home and pick me up. They were done with my car a few hours earlier than expected. I honesty cant thank them enough! If I have any other issues, Im going back to them!

Pristine shop and waiting areas. They even gave me a ride with the shuttle van unexpectedly. They repaired the stud on my wheel after those great Indy potholes ruined the stud with my spare on. From management to techs, it was a great experience all around!

God has definitely give to me liberally in the lives of everyone associated with Christian Brothers Automotive. The mechanic I was going to lacked a little in the personal touch department. Jared and Tom put an extra healthy emphasis on making you feel at home. Im not a mechanically inclined fellow, and I sort of feel like I should have known certain things concerning my car. While I was busy blaming myself for this, they were busy providing wise counsel on repair options and repair prioritization. I live close so I havent even made use of the companys courtsey shuttle, but having something like that available is just another way they work to make it easy on you. Appointment scheduling is rapidly done and work is rapidly started when it comes time. And as far as paying goes, its so true that these guys are honestly more happy that you came in the door than about how much money you spend. You cant find all this anywhere else! Go now!

I gave them every benefit of the doubt and then I am now ready to write a review for this business. My daughters car broke down and shes moving back to Illinois from Indianapolis I said the car towed there and actually for two months they had the car and its still there for a we got it home didnt run right for more than the trip to Illinois other than they have been giving us problems again. And I would say that some of the things that they replaced on the car have obviously not been the problem. In fact I got the car back into the front left eye I think it was it was low on air and I went to the gas station to put gas in it and it would click here for just a little bit and for $3,000 worth of work I would think that I should have been able to pump gas into the car

My car recently overheated during morning rush hour. Thankfully, I was just a block away from Christian Brothers Automotive in Fishers. Kyle greeted me by name and checked my vehicle in. He offered me coffee or water and then drove me to work.They diagnosed the problem by lunchtime and had the repairs done by the end of the day. When I picked up my car, the mechanic who worked on it spoke to me about what he did. He had noticed other things that need attention - my car is 12 years old, after all. They listed the things I need to do next in priority order with an estimate of the cost. This will help me plan financially and get the most important things done first. They also gave me a year of free roadside assistance.It was not an inexpensive repair, but they were able to save me money by not replacing parts that were still ok. The staff was very kind since they realized this was a difficult situation for me. The lobby and facility are very clean and welcoming. They are definitely customer-focused.I dont feel like it was an accident I ended up at Christian Brothers that day. I would highly recommend their service.
