You wont find a better barber or get a better haircut. The man is experienced and can accomplish whatever you want done. Make sure you come with plenty of time as its a full experience and a good haircut takes time. Good conversation. Clean place. Reasonable prices.

Great barber shop!! Highly recommended! Knows what hes doing! Very nice atmosphere! He is very opinionated, personal, and laid back! Loved that he wasnt afraid to post Trump stickers all over his shop and tell you all about it! Very patriotic place and its great! So if your very patriotic and a trump lover, this is the place for you!Dont come if your looking for a quick cut! He takes his time and does it right!

John doesnt need a review. Guys who have been to the island know where to get their hair cut. Doesnt matter if youre 5 or 105, just one of the locals, or some CEO of a major corporation, he treats everyone with the same, hey how are ya or long time - no see when you walk in. Check out the collection of Coke bottles or the pictures of whales or, just sit and soak in the old barber shop atmosphere. Dont go for a quick cut, you wont get it. What you will get is atmosphere, a great hair cut and some sort of knowledge you didnt know about the area and the people who live in it.

Had such a fun time while waiting for my haircut.John is a great conversationalist and not shy about his opinions.Reminded me of my barber growing up.Best of all the haircut was top notch.He is very talented and knows his craft well.Sorry I dont live locally. Would be here twice a month.Haircut cost was quite reasonable so make sure you leave a good tip!

I went in Thursday for a beard trimming and haircut because I was in town for a funeral o e of the best places i have ever gotten my hair cut,great conversation and overall great experience I wish his shop was in Alabama where i live. Great job and I really appreciate the service

Inside the door before it registered on me that the poster covering the top quarter of the front door was “Make America Great Again - TRUMP”. And then the conversation was about gay and queer bashing. Did not even consider getting a haircut there.
