I recently had my basement flooded, I was really sad because it had some very memorable things that got destroyed due to the flood. Had a roof leak from the large amounts of rain and wind weve had over the past two days that resulted in a leak in our living room. I was directed to this company by our insurance.This was a rough experience. We waited about an hour to be contacted by the local office, after calling the national line, to have them come out to our place. At that time we were then told it would take another 15-20 minutes for them to reach our house. Total wait ended up being an hour and a half.Once the lead gentleman walked in, he looked at our leak and verified what we knew. He held his meter up to the wall around our window to again verify what we already knew. He patted the floors to verify again, what we already knew. Final assessment, there were two damaged spots in the ceiling, damage around a window frame, and the floors were fine. Again, all things we knew.Then said there was nothing he could do for us because we already had a bucket down to capture the water. Then told me that because it was an emergency visit our insurance would still be billed for it. So we waited around to be told that ultimately he was just going to suck up water if need be and put a bucket down to capture other water. But even though we already have all that handled, theres going to be charge anyway.And to top it off, I was not told that they couldnt take care of our situation by the national dispatch line. When I explained the problem to them, I even told them what we needed as per our insurance company.Weve then had to follow up with another service company to have them at least come and tarp off our roof and keep water away until Monday when our claims adjuster can come out.This was not a good experience.
