I like coming to this coin laundry area in Federal Way. It is close to my home and other establishments. They make an effort to keep the area clean and comfortable. There is a Change Machine, Laundry Bag Dispenser, Candy/Soda Dispenser and Soap Center. If you are supporting locally owned businesses, you are supporting their careers and families who utilize their services.

Go somewhere else!! The machines are constantly broke down or dont work and your paying wasted money. They have a sign to call but they NEVER answer their phone or text. They really need to have someone on site. Telling someone they refund them weeks later for a on going situation doesnt help the situation. Oh and by the way i called the number and they turned off their phone. Horrible customer service, responses, and slow to fix things.

When go there to wash my clothes, it is always clean and it is always cool inside

This is how this owner is treating his customers! See attached, I reported issue back in March, he never responded nor refunded for the wasted money in his laundromat. His machines are horrible, they don’t wash. I had to re wash everything again!

Everything was achieved at a fair pace....prices were high for what it was. But otherwise I can say it is a good laundry mat.

Really clean early in the day

Ive visited more than a handful of times and I would go again.The machines work fast (the larger machines) amd hold up to eight loads.On the wall above the change machine theres a phone number you can text if a machine takes your money.Ive texted before to report a maintenance issue & a coin stealing machine.I was given a refund in the mail!

Business done right!One of the washers ate my money. I called for a refund. Received a refund for more than what I lost a handwritten note thanking me for my business and free wash coupon.

You lose a lot of business when the change machine is out. Dryer sheets covered the ground

One star for two minutes wash!!! I am not kidding, I was standing watching the cycle, the total time originally was only 14 minutes and that is including the “extra wash” that I paid extra money for, but only after 2 minutes if wash with the detergent it just drained all water out and refilled again with pure water, so my clothes weren’t clean. Machines are malfunctioning, no one cares.

Some of the dryers are very difficult to press the heat option / start button. Overall, the washing machines are heavily overpriced.

Very messy, no one thrir too keep it clean if garbage , ppl sleeping inside it.

Not a bad place. It could use some more detailed instructions on how to use the equipment. Also the soda machine outputs hot cans of soda.

Good laundry place lots of washing machines and dryers, change machine and detergent dispenser had everything i needed

Some machines dont work properly and theres no attendant to recover your lost coins spent. More than ten people are in the laundry mat and I dont think thats safe with the covid 19 virus.

Coim machines didnt work not alot of variety for washer size. I washed my clothes in hit water and they were cold when came out in one of them

This laundromat is often busy and has limited folding tables and it’s hard to get a washer. Also, some people are rude and hog the laundry carts. There is no restroom either! I recommend going elsewhere if possible.

Spacious washers and dryers plus excellent customer service.Forgot my laundry on one of the dryers, called owners and they were so kind to immediately save my clothes until I returned for them.Very grateful for saving my laundry, thank you 😍🙏

I went for the first time. Worst experience. A machine (Washer #60) ate my quarters, vending machine ate my money, liquid detergent spilled all over the floor, dirty, dingy, nobody is available on site. After speaking to other patrons, they said theres always an issue with the particular washer that ate my quarters. Maybe a Out of Order sign would help? Or fix the issue for future customers because I will not be returning. Also after reading a few comments, the dryers are awesome! However, there should be a sign that says Dryer $1.00 or however much they are. And there were 2-3 more washing machines with blue tape (out of order sign?) on them. Customers say theyve been broken for awhile. If your maintenance man is only available 1 day a month, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE! Or get out of business! You should keep your paying customers in mind when running your business. Last comment: If youre looking for a place to wash your clothes, youd probably be better off washing elsewhere. I hear Dash Point is cleaner & better priced! Spent $53 for 7 loads (wash & dry) $2.00 for extra detergent/rinse since machine wouldnt work $2.00 on vending machine stuck inside machine, $1.50-$2 stuck inside washer.

Machines wash and dry hot. I stepped in vomit last Friday - threw away those shoes. Drinking alcohol woman was inside again around 930am. This isnt the first time the lady was drinking booze inside. Between vomit outside and burped booze inside I just cant do business with this place. The city needs enforcement around the empty building back there. Booze and laundry in morning? No please.

Not enough machines. Usually a wait to use the big ones. The washers are in disrepair. Many leak, dont distribute soap properly, dont use enough (if any) water, eat quarters. Management is rarely there. The vending machines are money eating monsters. Ive lost money in every single machine in there. I did get a refund by calling the number supplied above the change machines but I already had a load of barely damp, soap caked laundry in a washer. The refund came about two weeks too late to salvage my opinion of this place. Side note; its also a fave spot for all the local crazy homeless people to stop, sit for a bit and talk to themselves. I sat nervously once as an egregiously filthy man shouted and mumbled to himself for an hour before checking his razor blade collection was in order and leaving. Yikes.

Paid $6.75 for a load of laundry. Didnt spin, everything came out sopping wet, dripping all over the floor. No one onsite to refund money. Ripoff and taking advantage of people. Running entire wash a second time in another machine hoping it works. Very little instruction and confusing. Its impossible to figure out how much money you need. I figured $1.25 max. I want my money back and payment for my time I had to waste re-running everything. Im $13 invested at this point for one load and havent even gotten to the dryer yet. Oh and I hope no one slips and breaks their neck as there is nothing to clean up the water with.

Nov.18, 2017. Put load in washer (machine 6D) at 7 a.m. After an hour the washer was still washing and the timer stuck on 12min. This means my clothes are locked in the machine.No attendant available for assistance. I called a number posted on wall for refund requests. Always greeted with answering machine. Left a message any way.Place is filthy dirty most of the time and can get overcrowded. I do see often machine broken down and flooding the floor.A lot of the customers will misuse the machine causing damage to them and to other peoples clothe. For instance construction workers put clothes in machines that still have screws in the pockets and end up ruining the machines and peoples clothes.

This Laundromat is ok, and very convenient for me. Ive used it for a few months now. Ive been concerned about the cleanliness on some of the machines. However, I just discovered Dash Point Laundry. They are a little cheaper, cleaner machines, open later (10pm), and have a payment card system which means no quarters! They have a clean restroom, two TVs, and a much cheaper vending machine!

I can see this place from a mile away, the lighthouse is so bright!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. The first time I went, I loaded one of the big washers with clothes and started and it was just spinning no water nothing! And decided to give it another shot, same thing happened. NO OUT OF SERVICE SIGNS FOR THESE MACHINES EITHER. Owner is scamming and not fixing any of the machines. I recommend Dash Point Laundry.

Machine didnt work, sign on wall says to text machine number, name and address and they will refund your money. Guess what, not only did i get $5 in the 3 days later, but coupon for a free wash! So impressed, thank you!

Just went there today to wash my comforter and when I pulled it out of the washer...I find 2 big black rub marks on it. These were not there before! Guess what...no attendant. NEVER going back there again. While I was there...another machine ate somebodys money....no attendant to talk to. Will take my comforter elsewhere and I hope the marks come out! Wash at your own risk!!!!!

Came here for a second chance!! First time big washer machine left my cloth dripping water, had to spend extra money to dry it, second time I went for smaller machines, it only wash my clothes for 14 minutes 😲😠 when I the word $5.25 for 14 minutes, how how do you think my cloth was when I took it out ? Dripping water again !! This owner take advantage because there is no many laundromat places around and thats stilling money to the public !! I hope someone read reviews before coming here

Good amount of washers and dryers, decent prices, and not busy during the week if you need big washers. Ive been here several times to wash my big sleeping bags.

Soda machine took some kids money.Trash everywhere. No immediate assistance.They had 105.3 radio station. Thats a big plus.

The dryers are awesome and dry fast and washers really get your clothes clean!

I will no longer come here to do a big load of laundry at once . The security guard is always harassing people when it’s closing time . He is plain rude and not even the slightest bit considerate of the people who come to do their laundry here . It says it closes at 9 pm YES I get that BUT it also says LAST LOAD AT 8 pm . I always come by 7:30 pm . And comes 8:30 pm and the security guard comes kicking people out . I literally had 10 minutes left of my load to finish drying, MY LAST LOAD . And he kept standing right beside me saying “I’m not going to wait 10 minutes, I am closing at 9 pm.” What ? You’re not going to wait 10 more freaking minutes dude ? I said to him, “well my clothes are literally almost done .” And he said, “no I lock up at 9 pm .” I just grabbed my laundry basket and grabbed my still damped clothes and walked the hell out of there . You’re really going to tell people to get their wet clothes out of the dryer because you want to lock up at exactly 9 pm . COME ON NOW . It’s been multiple times this old, white, male, security guard has harassed me to get out of here by 9 pm .

An unmanned laundry is fine if they have working equipment or if they answer when called. This place has neither.
