Pleasant staff. We compare our dinner to seafood on the coast. Therefore, oysters on half shell did not taste fresh and fried oysters mediocre. Garlic potatoes lacked garlic and had consistency and taste of reconstituted potatoes. Best part, draft beer.

The food was pretty solid here and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxed. No loud music or anything, just chill vibes. Service was great too. I personally got the fried pickles, fried cheese sticks, and calamari. The fried pickles were the best part frankly, while the fried cheese sticks and calamari were not the best. Maybe their entrees are better, but Ill have to come back another time to find out...

I love their escargot!! The best Ive ever had. Ive tried this at other places and Ive not been impressed. The fried alligator is also divine. Service is fast and friendly with t.v. going but not too loud. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

Not worth the money at all. Outback and pretty much any other chain steak and seafood establishment is far better. Our whole table was far from satisfied. I wanted it to be a good experience but that it was not.

I don’t really think this restaurant lives up to its reputation. While it is a local seafood restaurant, which can’t be found many other places in the area, it’s pretty average. We’ve been several times for dinner and while the drinks are always good (the Kilowatt is a must,) the food is underwhelming and on the bland side. My favorite part of both meals we ordered tonight (steak, shrimp, catfish) was the calamari as an appetizer.They sat us all crowded together too, despite there being plenty of room in the restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food! Great variety on the menu. Wait staff and hostess are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I didn’t include a fifth star is because of a couple botched to go orders. They handled the situations really well and took good care of us once we brought the issues to their attention, but the orders were really wrong. One of my favorite restaurants in Fayetteville!!

Food and dish selection is above average. Grand looking drink menu. Our table had a few Mimosas ($1 Sunday brunch special) and a very spicy and tasty Cajun Bloody Mary. Prices are accommodating. Service, atmosphere and staff friendliness is a cut above. Sunday brunch here is very good!

Service was amazing! Our server was super nice and understanding. However, the food was horrible. The appetizers had texture like rubber and my steak came out grey! Overall low quality ingredients that weren’t cooked well.

Freezer burnt seafood and a confused waitstaff. I hated my experience with Powerhouse. I will never return or recommend it to anyone. It’s time to close the doors, this place isn’t great to eat at anymore.

We came as a group and although they couldnt accommodate us with a room or large enough table, we were able to sit two tables near each other and visit with each other. My shrimp scampi pasta was delicious! We had a little snafu, but Jeff was quick to resolve. You can tell they take pride in satisfying their customer base. My family will surely visit again soon.

The menu isnt very specific so be certain to ask about your meal before ordering,I like the place but the food is like something my inexperienced daughter could cook with meat from Walmart.

Definitely a good experience so much to choose from to eat I couldnt even attempt to write it all down here. With Seafoods Cajun meats and Steaks in mind the only thing that they dont have is froglegs. Everything else they do. Nice setting inside too.

Definitely enjoyed my dinner with friends here. It was late night. We started off with half the group. The others came a little later from other events. I ordered chicken Alfredo and substituted the original chicken with blackened chicken. Definitely didnt go wrong there. The Alfredo sauce was a little thick to my liking nonetheless it tasted great.And that kilowatt drink! Whoa! Itll hit you after you drink it. Be careful.Our waitress was great and patient for our large group. Even asked the manager to connect a table. Now thats service! I appreciate my meal and service. Would definitely come again.

We used to love this place. It had been quite awhile since we had been and had opportunity to visit. We were driving past Fayetteville with our Dog. I Searched online to see if their patio and s dog friendly. I found references to people taking their dog there. I called to confirm that they were dog friendly out on their patio. I was told unequivocally yes dogs were fine put on the patio. We backtracked excited to visit this old friend, However, after we arrived the same gentlemen I spoke to by phone said out 80 lbs dog was to large to go out n the patio. There was no one else on the patio. I respect any business right to refuse service and determine their own policies, however if you have a arbitrary policy against something you should be clear on that when asked. It is gross inconsideration of others to do so. FYI our dog is trained, very friendly and weighs 80 LBS.

Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive, but the food was mediocre to terrible. My wife got snow crab which was extremely dry and rubbery, the broccoli tasted odd (and was over cooked), and my fried alligator was okay, but nothing to write home about. Fries were undercooked. The drink she got and the fried green beans were good, but I was unimpressed by the rest.

They were out of lobster, but the mahi mahi was very good. I also had a cocktail called The Kilowatt & it was very good and I was a little tipsy afterwards, which was good.

My family came on a Thursday night around 7:30. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and drinks. We waited on drinks and appetizers for almost 45 minutes. I asked the hostess if we could get refills and our appetizers, and a few minutes later she sent our waitress back with our appetizers and entrees together. She apologized and complained about a 30-steak party in the back preventing her from taking care of us. Oysters were overcooked and rubber, crab was tasteless. We didnt eat even a quarter of our food. Wont be coming back. It was not worth the $150 price tag.

Being from Mississippi I was a little shocked to be served Red Beans and Rice on a plate. They were ok but the sausage was a little small for my taste.

One of the best restaurants in Northwest Arkansas! The food is all absolutely wonderful. Their shrimp is the best you can get this far from a coast, and really, some of the best shrimp Ive ever eaten. Ive eaten there for many years, and theyve been consistently great every time.

This place was great! We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but we didnt have to wait to be seated. I ordered the NY strip and it was delicious and cooked just how I asked. Our waiter was super friendly and did a great job taking care of us. The menu has several delicious options and was not to pricey. The atmosphere was very cool as well and they offer both indoor and outdoor eating areas. The restaurant is located off of Dickson kind of hidden away with limited parking. Definitely will be going back!

Fiancee and I enjoyed a nice date night here. We started with the crab cake and the escargot. Both were very good. Then for entrees I got the Cajun filet and she had the crawfish Alfredo. Both very satisfied with our orders.We tried the kilowatt. Very nice. If you like Pina colada drinks, youll be a fan.Had 2 different kind of mules, both were very good.My only complaint would be that the cheesecake for dessert seemed cheap. We ate it anyway, cant complain too much!Service was good and knowledgeable.We will definitely be returning!

This place has been solid for over 25 years in my opinion. Great food, good menu selection, clean, and staff has always been friendly. One of my favorite spots in Fayetteville when I’m in that area.

First time visit at this restaurant. Early dinner and during a weekday so keep this in mind. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere, and I would assume on a busy night that’s it’s a fun environment to spend with family and friends. The fried pickles are a solid 7/10. Good quality for how quickly we got them after we ordered. The food itself is probably as expensive as other seafood restaurants in this area. $15-$25 is about how much every dish is. The dinner I received was average to above average in taste. It was cooked fresh, but a bit of me would have liked to see more quantity on the plates. Overall experience this first go around would be 6/10. It’s not a bad place to eat whatsoever, and I assume that eating on a weekend evening would be a bit more enjoying. I would recommend eating here at least once.

Went to brunch with the girls. $1 mimosas and $15.99 crab w/ side! How can you beat that?! The crab was so good too! Will be doing brunch here more often!

My favorite thing to order is the crab rolls with a raspberry dipping sauce! Its an appetizer but can easily be your meal! Also I highly recommend their Powerhouse salad! Delicious!

Unfortunately for my mother, it was not good when we took her. The appetizer arrived when it should and it was hot. That was just about the only part of our meal that was, though :/Our waiter forgot about us I think. After several minutes of waiting my mom stopped him and asked if he was going to bring our salad out before the meal. He said he would go get that. Then several more minutes passed. Our waiter finally arrived with all of our food instead. He sloshed the blood from the steak all over our table. Instead of cleaning it up he acted as if he was going to continue handing out plates. My dad asked that he go get a towel to clean the mess up, which he did. Some food fell off a plate onto the serving tray while he handed out the rest of the food. The waiter took the food that had fallen and put it back on my father’s plate, saying “here you go dont want you to miss anything.” My dad just said thanks.We started to eat. My seafood alfredo was cold and so was my mothers. Probably because our food had been forgotten. The fried mushrooms tasted and looked like they had been reheated. He came around to ask how the food was while hurrying to another table. We just said good thanks. The food costs a good amount so I just went ahead and ate even though it was cold, thinking maybe this was all just because they were busy. He returned later and we asked for to go boxes. At this point we had quite a bit of food on the table. He said ok and returned later with 3 very small togo boxes. As he handed me them, I asked if he had anything bigger and he said yes. I asked that he go get them instead, and handed him back the tiny boxes. He was nice about it, but then he went to the table behind us and tried to hand them the same boxes I’d just touched, which I’m not sure is something he should have done. They declined as well and asked for bigger boxes.He returned with bigger boxes. We asked for the check. I filled all the boxes up. He returned with the check. We put the card in the book. And then he walked right past instead of grabbing it on his way while i was holding it out. He did come back for it. I was at that point a little annoyed. He came back with our card and explained he’d charged us for our meal and the meal of the table behind us on accident, and then explained that he canceled the charge for the other table. I looked at my bank log after he left. The charge and reversal appeared to be there. My wife tipped him well anyway, thinking maybe it was just his first night or a busy one. I think that boy might need some training, just from the fact that he replated food that had fallen, as that’s not sanitary. And maybe also that he didnt go get a towel without prompting to clean up all the steak blood he sloshed.As this was a meal that was supposed to be for my mom for mothers day, and I picked a place I thought would be really good that she would enjoy, I was pretty disheartened. My mom never seems to have any luck at restaurants, that poor woman.

Atmosphere is outstanding. Staff is friendly and fun. Drinks are AMAZING. Talked into starting my own Hall of Foam Tour. If you are feeling brave, order a kilowatt, they are PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!

I really want to like this place but the food is average at best. The location is great and theres a nice patio out back, and the kilowatt is guaranteed to give you a hangover (whether it be alcohol or sugar induced). Unfortunately, the seafood/New Orleans style dishes lack flavor. The red beans & rice was dull-colored mush, po boy was underwhelming. The chicken tenders and cornbread were good. I recommend Juicy Tails before Powerhouse, dont @ me.

Outside kilowatt specials on Mondays and their party on the patio on Thursday I wasnt really a fan of Powerhouse. The food has always been good for dinner but I always found excuses for not wanting to go here whenever a friend would suggest it. That all changed when I reluctantly agreed to eat here one Sunday afternoon. Their brunch brought me around and I have enjoyed everything off of that menu. The mimosas are good and the bloody marys even better. So glad that I gave this place another shot.

Went at 2:30ish on Sunday afternoon, not busy at all. We couldnt be seated for 20 minutes because they were too busy!! The attitude was that its more about the servers than the diners. Done with this place.

Our food was very good. Our waitress however was terrible! She kept forgetting to refill our drinks. We asked for some ginger beer she said they didnt have any. Even though their menu had it listed. We asked for a diet coke and she said she didnt think they carried diet coke. It took about 30 minutes to get our bar drinks. I had to go and ask the hostess to find our waitress so we could get our drinks. The food was good and everyone was happy with it. Our waitress just needed help.

Had a fabulous steak there. The one pounder was on sale so twist my arm LOL please to find a restaurant that will actually cook something rare these days! The service was extremely slow and lacking and the food was worse. Forget about getting a drink. The waitress was apologetic and said thanks for staying and waiting for our food as several tables had already walked out. When we arrived a customer that was walking out warnedus.

This is hands down the most gruesome, and tasteless restaurant I’ve been to. It’s a shame since it is suppose to be a Fayetteville staple. Oh well Ill be eating at Cafe Rue Orleans on College just up from ricks bakery. Lack of management and the constant belittling when you bring something to their attention. Sad to see this place going. Let me know when things change I will be back to try it out and start recommending people back here. In the meantime save your money eat elsewhere.

Its good but not great. Food a little over priced and underwhelming. 7.50 for a loaded baked potato is a little much for me. But it was good, as well as the fried alligator . Salmon and shrimp were not as good. The drinks were great, strong and huge beer selection. Service was kind, helpful and quick. I feel like the food could be better but they have a big menu, lot of variety. Overall, Id recommend as an option for a night out.

Great food. Got the Louisiana trio and it was very tasty. Great portions. The drink menus was extensive and varied unlike most places where your choices are limited especially as far as scotch goes. The bartender was super busy but he handled it like a pro!

Saw the reviews online and decided to try this place out. Big mistake. The steak had no seasoning the salad was mainly onions was not informed that no salad came with the steak so ended up paying extra for two salads and because we shared the meal they changed for the extra plate. In nearly 70 years I had never been changed for a plate

3 vegetarian options in the menu and the veggies they use were pretty bland. Family I went with enjoyed the sea food so thats why I gave it 4 stars. The bread was wonderful and the killawaht drink was great. Wait time was extremely long for my party of 10 but the waitress was nice. They add 18% gratuity to your bill and dont give change when you pay in cash. I personally wouldnt go back but I have family who enjoyed it.

Wow, such high expectations, such a low reality. Ordered charbroiled oysters, came hot, covered in parmsean, thick, could hardly dig the oysters out. Speaking of, very small. Drove here just to wat at this restriction from. Oklahoma. Atmosphere of the place is really nice. Waitress not attentive, had to ask another Waitress to see if see could have her return to the table. Very disappointing, dont take my word for it, go experience yourself. Or ignore the reviews as we did. Youll be sorry.

Great food, but a tad bit expensive. I bought 4 drinks (for two) and an order of fried pickles and a shrimp cocktail and it was over $45. They do have specials everyday, which are not too bad. Sometimes its cheaper to go here than other places downtown.

Nice staff. Fans a bit loud on terrace so we shut them off. Food decent but not overly amazing. Very cool building with lots to see, used to be a power company and built on a natural spring, old pole in back that they practice climbed. Dinner til 10 is why we went! Id go back!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here & reserved one of the Banquet rooms. It was a great experience overall. Jeff allowed for setup (floral arrangements) beforehand. The food was served in a timely manner, and the bartender was wonderful. Greatly recommend!

Powerhouse is probably my most favorite place to eat seafood. That place is not only historical, its very inviting. The food is absolutely excellent! The people are very friendly, yet very professional. They are eager, and willing to work with you, so that you would I have exactly what you want, so that you will have I wonderful experience. As you can tell, Im most highly recommend this restaurant!

There was no wait to be seated and food was ready reasonably quickly. The menu prices online are not current, I had the Orleanss feast. The flavor was great but it wouldnt be a feast for my 4 year old. The server refilled my glass when she took my order but not again until I asked for the check. They didnt notice it was nearly empty when the food came. Overall nice atmosphere and building with history however for the price and still leaving hungry, I was disappointed.

Not good at all. The food was terrible. The only excuse that I will make for them is that they were busy. I called to make a reservation for a party of 5 for my husbands birthday. I was told they couldn’t take a reservation but they would put my name on a list and hold a table for me??! Maybe I don’t understand reservations. When we received our food it was just bad. I had clam strips that were so over cooked they disintegrated and a pile of mush that was supposed to be red beans and rice. I ordered a cocktail that I am sure was poured directly from an off the shelf premix and the glass was only half full. The others in our party had similar complaints. We won’t be back.

Absolutely amazing!! The steak was phenomenal & perfectly cooked. The calamari was not chewy & was, I dare say, the best calamari Ive ever had. The house cab was a nice selection for a house wine. The garlic mashed potatoes were divine, & the waitress, Mercedes (I believe), was patient & so sweet. My mother had the salmon & said it was amazing as well. We also had another appetizer that was delicious; it was their crab rolls. I will absolutely be coming back here. They have daily specials too, from what I understand.

I normally don’t do reviews but I took my family here and it was a disaster. We had reservations but still didn’t get our food nearly 2 hours later. It was cold and my daughter couldn’t even eat her pasta. I was very disappointed. I was so excited to bring the family and celebrate my husband and I for our anniversary. My past experiences were great but it’s been years ago. Guess it’s just not what it used to be. Complete bummer deal.

The special on Wed night is great. Clean facility, friendly staff, excellent service. Very helpful for my service dog Quasi, brought a bowl with water for him. Steak cooked to perfection. Bar orders delivered quickly.

Love this place and the food is fantastic! We came on December 26th - 2019 and the service was TERRIBLE - please close this place when you dont have staff to run this great restaurant. Food came and we had to look for silverware to use throughout the restaurant. When our appetizers came (cold) I had to look the place over to find more silverware to eat with. Everyone there let us know they hated working on the day after Christmas - Please close until you have staff! Dont let us suffer as customers by using staff that do not want to be there. Love this place but please restructure your staff because me taking someone I love out to eat for this amount of money was not worth it and destroyed any reunion we wanted to have that evening with this great restaurant - please!

I was blown away by the quality, price, and atmosphere of this establishment! The food was amazing and way to much to eat in one sitting. The service was great the entire time. This was my first visit but it certainly wont be my last!

So the past vpuple of times that ive been there it takes FOREVER to get anything. Food was held in a warmer too long. This last time they ran out of half their items and it was only 6:30pm. Some of their food is pretty good its really just about how the place is run and managed that needs adjustment.

Awesome taste. The only negative is the fried seafood is not crunchy, maybe they cover it to keep warm after frying before serving. Great crab appetizers and boiled shrimp. If fried food was crunchy I would give 5 stars.
