Im your average college student and needed a place to stay off campus at an affordable price. Its what you need to get by if you are on a budget and need a place. You get what you pay for but it its great at the end of the day. Maintenance and front office are nice.

Don’t waste your time with this place.I waited months for an appointment just to go see the apartment. Then, the agent had a “calendar conflict” so had to cancel my appointment.

Lived here with my boyfriend and our son. The experience wasn’t all bad but the rollie pollie bugs were outrageous. We lived on the first floor and maintenance was contacted several times concerning this issue. The spray that we used to rid them never worked. Water was leaking from bathroom ceiling and maintenance guy thought I I had mistaken a leak for the shower leaving perspiration on the ceiling so he never fixed the issue until months later when it happened for the third time. Terrible draft in the apartments. And the appliances are old as dirt. No amenities what so ever because the pool is only there for decoration.

We have lived here 2 yests in September and people consider twice before i fo.

There are a lot of things that go on here at North Crossings Apts. There is no security here at all. Sometimes,there is need for it. I know, we live here. Any problems at all that u will encounter, the Office Manager will do nothing. The appliances are older than I am (69). Think twice about renting from here. We lived here twice before, different Property Manager then. It was enjoyable way back then.

Maintenance is pretty darn awesome. Hes done some major repairs very quickly, very accurately, and efficiently. Kudos to the maintenance team here!!!

Remember the commercial where the guy living downstairs say he has cloggers as his upstairs neighbor? That’s me. Complained about it and they still clogging away.

I was visiting someone for an extended period. The management does not changed the animal waste receptacles, theres trash EVERYWHERE!!!!! The tenants throw trash from their balconies to down below and DO NOT take it to the trash. Kids throw trash everywhere. The walls leak and makes huge puddles from the tenants washing machine above, and the dish washer is broken. I can hear every foot step from the tenants above. I had to call the police due to domestic abuse one night. I hear arguing and screaming a lot.

I have lived at North Crossings for nearly 3 years and I love it here. The office staff is friendly and attentive to my needs. Maintenance comes out in a timely manner to repair work orders. I love it here and I have referred several of my friends and coworkers to live here.

The noise from the stairs and thin walls is ridiculous ugh very disturbing especially at night, appliances and apartments are older, not worth the rent they charge for the units this is why Im not renewing my lease , the pool is maybe open 10 days the whole summer if youre lucky :(Maintenance is pretty quick to respond to issues needing fixing ..Ive had upstairs apartment leaking into my bathroom on 3 different occasions, office staff is pretty friendly, Ive lived here a year and probably had 4 housekeeping amd maintenance inspections all together which can be bothersome if you work nights and try to sleep during day, seen the pizza man get car jacked right in front of building while delivering a pizza he left his truck running, upstairs neighbors dog used to urinate on their porch and it would come right through boards onto my patio furniture, same thing for dirt if they were on porch same time as us smh, the layout of 2 bedrooms was nice especially if u roommate , the dishwasher sucked along w stove and micorwave, theres no security or cameras , my neighbor backed into my car and kept going even w my car paint all Over their bumper police did nothing bc no witness or video, you have to fight getting in and out of apartments during traffic hours the u turns are irritating, my water pressure sucked in my 2 showers.

I have lived at North Crossings for almost 2 years and I think we have the nicest manager ever. She cares about the residents and always goes above and beyond to help me. Maintenance completes my work request in a timely manner.

These apartments are TRASH!!! 🗑 The maintenance people take forever to “fix” issues. The walls are SUPER thin, I can hear neighbors arguments CLEARLY. They have HUGE pot holes in the ground. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

The office staff they is not people friendly at all and do not look out for the needs of the tenants. My fridge bulb was out the entire time because they would always put off my request for a new bulb. They also accused my pet for (pooing) all over the lawn because they didnt believe a (service) animal that lived down stairs was doing it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTH CROSSINGS.

Ive live in this apartment for a while now. Management has always been courteous and helpful. The only negative experience Ive had involves the baseless noise complaints received from my downstairs neighbor when I actually hear her slamming doors throughout the day herself. These are old buildings and not fully soundproofed, but we all knew that when we moved in. Sometimes children get excited and run around the apartment. I try to curbed that in an effort to be considerate and respectful neighbors. But Im not gonna make a child sit perfectly still 24/7.But Id like to commend the management for the way they handled it. They informed me about the noise complaint in a professional manner while remaining personable at the same time. Unfortunately we all have to deal with bullying and irrational neighbors at one point or another.

This was a quite clean neighborhood about 2 Years ago now the management has moved into the building and her and her visitors are loud and disruptive. When asked to hold it down she complains tht she hears us walking well of course we are not born with wings so yes we walk but to hear loud rap music and loud conversations from her apt is very much unacceptable and Southwood Realty should be ashamed of such behavior out of their management team. Im still here for the time being but Southwood Realtys repetation for management is a disgrace and I would not be surprised if this bad management shows themselves to be as much of a mistake as before. She torn down fence around the tennis court and never replace, the parking lot has potholes, she said that u cant grill on decks when i knw i have witness her doing it while no else is allowed to. Southwood realty please check on your management and their practices. Im sure I will be harrassed beyond belief for speaking out but the truth is the truth and if i am i will seek legal representation for me and my son.

Nice apartments great staff, appliances suck, your neighbors will hear everything, and my downstairs neighbor is a fat racist lady. Air conditioning frequently goes out
