I had to go to this location (1 hour from my house) because it was the closest location that was Samsung certified at the time (end of April 2021). I had a small chip in the front and back of my galaxy. I paid 200 to get both the front and back fixed just to be extra careful & be able to use my phone to take pictures on my vacation. My phone was water resistant when I gave it to them even with the chips. My vacation got postponed due to venue cancellation (until July 31st 2021). Guess what?! My phone wasnt water proof from wet hands and fried on the first day at the beach and now Geek quad is telling me they arent responsible for the repairs because my warranty expired and they apparently have a 30 day repair warranty which they werent clear about (If you have any issues contact us). The first time my phone got wet and YOU ARENT RESPONSIBLE!!!! My phone is visibly fine. I havent dropped the phone. There isnt a scratch or anything on it (aside from the bulge that is inside the center of the phone that they assured me wouldnt cause me any issues) and that one of the internal test wasnt coming back as complete for some reason. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE!

Stood in line a bit before my appt and there was only one person helping another customer. I stood at the counter and no one spoke, looked or acknowledged my presence. I decided to step away (huge mistake) from the counter to the next aisle. I looked over a minute later and another person was in line. She set her laptop on the counter and the same person helping another customer turns, greets her, and asks what her appt time was. Hmmm same exact time as mine. She sat her at the table next to her and then magically another associate stepped out from the back and helped her.10+ years customer service experience and I can’t think of a single time I was too busy to greet the people paying my paychecks.Nope, you won’t get my business.

I set up an appointment online to get my phone fixed. Explained that the screen was broke and filled out what type of phone it was. I drove down from Iowa for my 10am appointment only to find out that they did not have a screen in stock. I was told to call ahead next time.Ok learned my lesson, ordered the screen paid for it and had them put a note on my account Id be back in a month. Set the appointment up right then. They sent multiple emails about getting an appointment set up and that my part was in. I called them explained what was going on and the emails stopped. Then they started calling, but they didnt call me they called my sister or my parents but never me. The day before the appointment I get a phone call I have 24hrs to respond or they will return my screen.Called and got that fixed. The actual repair went well. They never let me know the phone was actually repaired but I callehd them and I got the phone in about the time frame they predicted. They even helped me reset up my finger password.I left drove back to Iowa. The head phone jack is now broke in the phone. I didnt think to test the headphone jack when checking over my phone.I have sence been on hold for 45min and Im still on hold to see if theres anything that can be done or if Im just out of luck for not finding the issue before I left.Moral of the story, check everything, bring head phones, check your Bluetooth, any little thing that you may is on your phone check before walking outFollow up:I did eventually get a hold of them. They set up an appointment and in roughly an hour and a half the fixed.
