This company went above and beyond to help my dad stranded on the interstate with 2 flat trailer tires. They discovered that the axle was broken. My dad (82 yrs old)would NOT leave his truck or trailer, so they found a safe place for him off the highway. The next morning they had a rollback there to haul the trailer and got him to my house safe! They kept in contact with both of us during the whole ordeal. Very Professional Reasonable Price and knowledgeable employees! Angels with big trucks and bigger hearts ♥️Thank you so much!

This is an amazing business! Ive had to use them 2 times in the last 30 days (yeah, I know—bad luck) and I cant even begin to throw a complaint. They came out and fixed a leaf spring during horrible weather on my 30 foot trailer and recently I was in a total-wreck and they were there in 15 minutes flat! In both cases, the cost was reasonable and the service was amazing. I asked TONS of questions and they didnt take advantage of my being ignorant (and told some good engineer jokes).Ive seen alot of shade on these comments. It seems clear to me a trucking company made it their mission to be petty and enlist tons of people they know to talk trash on this company. For shame, children.Thanks Hillbilly! We delivered in Fairmont wv when our semi truck wasnt accelerating beyond 10 000 rpm. These guys quickly assessed the problem to be the fuel filters and fixed us quickly. Not long after our fan wasnt spinning they quickly called around found one went and got it and installed the same day. Prices were very reasonable. We have been in trucking for over 20 years been in every state. These guys made a great impression.Thanks guys

Hillbilly? Dont let the business name fool you; these guys know what theyre doing. While hauling a vehicle in my 24-ft enclosed trailer, a leaf spring broke, causing the tires of each axle to rub together. Hauling done in the middle of Route 19, south of Clarksburg, in the dark. Hillbilly Truck Repair and Towing arrived with their biggest flat-bed tow truck, but nobody has a flat-bed long enough for a 24-ft box trailer. No problem, the driver dispatched their roadside repair guys. They replaced the broken leaf spring from parts they had in stock. Fantastic.It took some time to get them on site, but I was way south of their Fairmont location. It was cold, raining, and dark. I was very pleased to wait for the help, and the help was good. Yeah, they look like good ol boys, but they were polite and no cussing as they worked. Good help at anytime and anyplace is not cheap, and I expect that; no problem.I recommend Hillbilly to anyone in a truck or car broke down in north central West Virginia.

09/26/2020 @14:30 Semi Truck Driver out of TX. Stopped @ WB Coopers Rock Weigh Station/Brake Check for brake check. Also checked tires and found Driver side inner rear axel drive tire with inner wall hole and opposite side tread peeling off. Dang it! Closest was Pilot, they do not have a shop, they referred to Hillbilly Truck Repair. Hobbled down the mountain and made it to their Shop. WOW, talk about a diamond in the rough ... big shop and several large tow trucks, the largest being the semi or heavy equipment rig. Had the tire changed in record time, and reasonably priced. HIGHLY recommend - the business is 24hrs and 29yrs old so was confident in their work - delieghted & relieved to have found an excellent repair & tow company for any future needs. Brian was our tech and was professional, efficient and friendly - no 2-6hr wait to change 1 blown tire. In and out in 1 hr - wow! Thank you!!!

I am very self sufficient , never needed anyones help with anything in my life. Traveling through WVa. in my motor coach with a small Harley trailer in tow...coach engine blew up...No one would help me, stating they didnt want the responsibility of towing a coach of that dollar value...Finally found Hillbilly, Eric drove 2 hours to get me with two tow trucks, one for the trailer and one for the coach...took me two hours north to Cummins...during the trip...the driveshaft was damaged...they had a new one made and installed the next day...I offered to pay...wouldnt take my money! I decided not to have Cummins fix the coach so I had hillbilly used a 2nd time to bring the coach to my home from Cummins ...flawless service again. On the ride home shop mechanic gave me tips on repair... These guys are the best ever! THANKS HILL BILLY!!

If you are from out of town they will over-charge you! Paid 2,393.60 for a total of 2 hours, and it only took 30 minutes to move my trailer. They will charge $1,000.00 per hour! Even for a rotator that is an unbelievable price! I do not recommend using this company.

I broke down on the interstate and called Hillbilly to tow my truck. Truck was loaded but they handled the tow professionally that day(Saturday) and towed it into their shop. Mechanics ran into some issues and it took longer than I liked.Even though I went in throwing a temper tantrum ladies in office were very nice to me. I hung out in the office until my truck was finished. Thank you.

I broke down around 5:30 this morning on my way to work and called and there where there quickly with out any issues. They where professional and quick. I would recommend them to anyone!

Had a big truck in the area that got hung up on a curb; Hillbilly came out and moved the back of the trailer over about 5 feet. Took 30 minutes to get the job done.... They charged me $2,393.60! Do not call this company! If a police officer has to call in the wrecker, make sure you request any other tow company other than this one! That is highway robbery just because I was from out of town.

These guys are great. Heavy equipment and auto towing. On site mechanics and shop for truck repairs and reasonable price for the tow or repair. They are the guys to call in central West Virginia.

Have to give a one-star review because a shoddy work this shop did when replaced a burnt starter on my truck . The road service crossed wires, broke my fuel line, then they towed me to their shop to waste another half a day there and, luckily, Volvo dealer nearby could fix me afterwards. A relatively simple 2-3 hrs job turned into 3 days of getting towed back and forth and waiting for parts . And because it was just before Thanksgiving I was not able to find a load home.

Horrible company! They will charge the Maximum Statewide Wrecker Rates to anyone from out of town. You can see these rates online. Please not these are MAXIMUM rates, they do not need to charge these rates to be fair to any one. In my case, I was charged $1,000 per hour!

Transmission went down in me heavy hauling truck and they had it out and back in in a timely manner and they were also very polite and helpful in everyway. There pricing is cosiderablly very fair. I suggest if your with in a reasonable distance and need some repair or a tow truck I would highly recommend these guys.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Broke down in Whitehall (11 minutes from Meadowdale) took them an hour an a half to get to me. Then it was $85 to tow me from Whitehall to near Fairmont State. Then I called late that evening to get my receipt for my insurance consonant and the woman on the phone was VERY rude. Told me they would get back with me for a receipt. VERY displeased.

Tonight I had scary experience with my car at 2am after working at LabCorp.. The wheel bearing on my car went out on my way home.. Which is very scary for a young woman with no insight on vehicles and I googled tow truck and called EVERY SINGLE ONE on the list and they each said no.. The very last one was Hillbilly Towing and they were warm and welcoming to my service and gladly came to pick up a girl alone on side of the road at 2am on a cold night.. As I was on the phone I watched as MJs tow truck drive down the road (the first number I called) The reason I leave this is for parents or young adults in the same situation that just needed a helping hand during a very scary and emotional situation. SO CALL HILLYBILL FIRST! They deserve your service!

Kept a car for over a week cuz they said they didnt Have it. Then I find out that it wasnt the right car. Charged him $266 in towing and storage fees even though it was there fault! When asked about it, they pretty much said thats how they make there living. He had to pay the money just to get his car. He should get a refund just for the hassle he went through. I write this heartbroken for a friend/co worker. His wife drove her buick into a creek and he is having to sign it over because they are charging $9000. Yes, $9,000. This man is at risk of losing his job due to lack of transportation. Stay away from this company. I just cant believe it!!!!

This company ripped off one of my co-workers. They towed his Crosstrek and when he called to see if they had it they said no, a week past and in calling around he called again and they matched his license plate up they thought it was a outback so thats why they didnt have it anyway they charged him over $250 dollars in towing and storage fees even though it was their employees fault it was there more than a day. When he approached the manager they said it was how they make a living so too bad. Dont ever call these people, well unless you want ripped off!

Illegally towed my daughters car, before the 24 hour notice from the Police was over. They showed up 30 minutes before I could tow it. Still had 16 hours left on the 24 hour notice.

I,as well as many other,are upset with this company over an altercation with our Friend and Co-Worker.The gentlemans car broke down on the side of the road and within 24 hours this company towed it-Thats 100% fair,though.Thats their job and they werent in the wrong for doing that.What isnt fair is when said co-worker called this company pertaining to wether or not they had his car,they say no.One week later,the company realizes that it mis-identified the car to our co-worker yet STILL charged him $266 for holding it for a week-even though he called them very soon after their towing of it.This gentleman happens to have many friends all over the state who will stick up for him and ask your company to reconsider its decision of not accepting their own mistake and as much as apologize to the gentleman.Poor business ethics.

Charged $60 to plug a tire. If I knew I was going to be ripped off that bad, I could have bought a new tire for the same price. $55 labor for a 7 minute job is ridiculous.

Called truck down could not get there told me to call these guys big truck semi ,showed up quick which was good but the guy acted lost on semi problem ecm,starter or what ever 203.03 to to show up and doing nothing good
