I usually didn’t like studying for the SAT. My mother even offered me money just to try to get me to study for it on my own, so you can imagine the shock she felt when she heard me say that I not only enjoyed it, but wanted to study more on my own after exiting my first session with Test Prep Wizards. He helped me raise my score by over 100 points to a 1530, achieving a perfect 800 on the math section and a 730 on the language section. Vinny is an excellent tutor through and through, using his expertise in standardized testing to help students navigate the more nuanced SAT questions and explain rules that accurately encompass the entirety of a single section. By applying the things I learned, I was able to raise my score to as high of a level as I had hoped for.

Through Test Prep Wizards, I took my first ACT practice exam, which allowed Vinny, my tutor, to understand my strengths and weaknesses. In each of my tutoring sessions, Vinny provided me unlimited practice ACT exam. He taught me great strategies how to approach a certain question, new material, tips and tricks, etc! I easily booked appointments online that best fit my busy schedule as a student-athlete.Even though I faced many challenges while studying and taking the ACT test, Vinny helped me to be confident, motivated, and persistent. Vinny with Test Prep Wizards has been an invaluable resource for both my kids, ages 14 and 16. He has a way of explaining complex math that is easy for them to grasp. He is flexible, able to deal with specific problems they have or work with them on more general fundamentals when they dont need focused tutoring. Vinny is generous with his time, making himself available even in between tutoring sessions and makes sure they know he is there for them if they need help.
