Fantastic dealership! The staff are genuinely kind and will work with you to make sure you end up in a car you absolutely love at a price thats fair to all. We worked with Robert who was friendly, helpful, and not pushy whatsoever. He made sure we were aware of any dents or scratches (since we were looking at a used car) and was just honest and helpful through the whole process. Jason was also incredibly helpful in explaining what was available at their dealership as well as other dealerships and was super transparent in pricing. At no point did I feel pressure -- it was an easy process and everyone had the same goal which was to make sure we found a car we loved. Kathleen in finance was also incredibly nice and helpful. She took her time explaining everything to us about our warranty options and answered our many many questions. I walked away from her desk with a crystal clear understanding of the warranty I chose and I felt confident in my decision with her help. Couldnt recommend this place enough! The best car buying experience Ive had.

I got the $250 detail package. Its was not at all worth the money. They did the carpets in most of the car. But there was dirt caked around the gas peddle still, the weather tech lining in the wagon was not removed and vacuumed underneath. Dust was still visible around the steering wheel, there were cleaning streaks left from whatever cleaner they used on the gauges. They didnt take the registration out of the glove compartment to clean underneath it. And the weather tech flooring was only vacuumed not actually washed or cleaned. Also the hatch back door jam was not cleaned at all I would at most pay $50 for this cleaning. It was an absolute rip off especially since this car came to them quite clean already.

We were looking to bring in our lease for something new, and Leon and Rob were very helpful in our endeavors! We got a great quote for the lease as well as another car I had, and ended up in a new Atlas Cross Sport! The whole process was very comfortable, no pressure, no need to haggle. The worst part of the whole deal was that there was a limit to how much cash we could put down with a check, and so we needed to wait a couple of days for the bank to open to get a cashiers check before we could take our car home; however, they were gracious enough to give us a loaner for the duration! All around good experience at Pignataro!

If you’re needing service done on your vw I highly recommend you take it literally anywhere else. Sure they’ll fix it but they will overcharge the hell out of you. Had them replace a battery for an 2018 , battery cost was $125. They charged $454 to put it in! Insane

Rob did a great job! We bought a used car that had a couple things we wanted fixed. He made sure they got fixed and took good care of us. Even got an extended warranty on the car. 2 months later I am still happy. I wait to post reviews to make sure nothing comes up.

Nick in the service department went ABOVE and BEYOND for me. I was having my car worked on at the body shop nearby and they had said there was an issue with a part that was potentially going to cost an additional 800 dollars more. I called up nick who went over and took a look and straightened everything out for me. Not to mention when I bought my car a year ago I had amazing customer service and was treated with so much respect. Every time my vehicle needs service they are quick efficient and communicating throughout. I will never buy or have my cars serviced ANYWHERE else. Thanks Guys!

I had an amazing experience with Rob, Mike, and all of the staff here. From the moment I walked onto the lot it felt different than the previous dealerships I was at that day. I was unaware that they closed in 5 minutes and asked to see a couple cars. I was treated as if they had just opened and was able to test drive and chat about what I was looking for with no pressure. I came back the next day again at closing and was greeted by the staff. The car I choose needed a new headlight so I was given a loaner for the weekend and a full tank of gas. Rob was texting me updates and answered any questions I had. I now have my car and it is everything I wanted. I will be going back for my next car and would recommend Rob and the Pignataro location to anyone looking for a new car.

Really satisfied with my experience. I bought a lightly used Mazda here after doing research online. I spoke to Jihoon over the phone and he followed up a couple times before I came in to buy. I was disappointed that the price of the car was raised the same day I went in, but apparently that was to deter low-ballers. I got the original deal I expected to get, and I wasnt forced to sit there for hours negotiating. When the check engine light came on two weeks later, they took a look at it for free. Loose gas cap, nothing major. I like this dealership a lot; Ill come back if I ever decide I want to get a GTI.

I was calling to clarify the transmission service interval and fluid for my VW GTI and the guy on the phone says that its lifetime fluid and it never needs to be serviced...SIR!!! I work at a lube shop mind you. After the conversation I had with this guy on the phone I would never trust them to touch my car.

I recently bought a brand new 2021 Jetta from these folks. Although I was trading in my old car, I had never actually bought a car from a dealer before. Right from the moment I looked at the financing options online, Rob was a fantastic help to me. He didnt push or pressure me into purchasing a vehicle, and even offered to get a lower trim Jetta from another dealer for me since that was the trim I was looking at online. Mike-the sales manager-was also a big help. Kathleen in financing helped set up my payment options and explained in great detail what my payment would be. Overall, if I were to buy another VW in the future, these folks would be my first-and only-choice.

Very professional service department staff (office and shop) and a very busy and clean shop from the looks of it. We are a tow truck company that from time to time delivers vehicles to Pignataro VW in Everett. And we have never had any issues when dealing with the staff here. My job requires me to drive hundreds of miles a day so my car runs up the miles fast and today I looked up at my oil change sticker and realized it was due. Made a quick phone call to Pignataro VW and they said to bring it on in. At the service counter I was greeted by Nick and Erik who were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was upbeat and the store was clean and well out together with a comfortable waiting area, snack vending machines, nice music, and more. Erik quoted me for a synthetic oil change and said it would be about an hour which was great because I’m in the market to possibly upgrade my car so I headed out to the lot to browse around. After looking at a few cars I found Daniel in sales where we discussed a few vehicle options and I test drove a car I’m interested in. He was helpful in providing me a number of options with which to consider and was knowledgeable about the cars I am interested in and I told him I will be in touch. Headed back to the Service department where Erik was just finishing up my paperwork and my vehicle was being brought around to the service drive where the steering wheel and contact points were all sanitized. Seriously impressive job today Pignataro team, I’m impressed!!!! Having been a tech for all these years I always change my own oil and have always been reluctant to let others touch my car but today I simply didn’t have that option. Today is the first oil change I’ve paid for in over ten years and I’m extremely happy it went to a team and company that earned it! Thank you and I will definitely be back!!!

Pignataro went above and beyond with all aspects of my trade-in and vehicle purchase. From ‘G’ working test drives and the purchasing process to finance having everything squared away extremely quickly with a pretty non-standard trade in process..The true testament to their commitment to service came when the vehicle I bought had a check engine light on the way home. I sent an email asking if they would be able to help. I had a response within a day with a service appt scheduled and a loaner vehicle. I brought the car back and they had it fixed within 6 hours and I was able to pickup the same day. An unfortunate car mx item that could have been a negative became a bright spot for their entire team in my eyes from the sales dept to the service dept. It was a seamless experience where they put forward 110% effort to provide the best service I have ever received from a dealership.I would highly recommend Pignataro VW for those out there looking for a new/used VW and thanks for the help!

Awful service and drastically overcharge for parts. $800 for new tired I can get for $500, same model and everything. It took them over 4 hours to change my oil and gave be a list.of issues that when we confirmed with a third party service provide were grossly over estimated.

I stopped by today for a quick oil change. Although the entire staff was nice and professional, I found it REALLY strange that not one person there wanted to sell me a new vehicle. I walked thru their showroom several times, and also had enough time to walk thru the inventory in their parking lot twice. I have always until now had the experience that car salesman want to sell cars. I got the impression that most everyone there has gotten complacent and lazy. Thank you for the oil change. My 2011 golf loves you. Might have gotten a new VW if someone had asked. Probably wont after today.

Im not usually one to leave a review especially for a car dealership (Im not a fan of car shopping). We needed to trade in our Jetta and look for a bigger vehicle. I worked with Mak who said up front that he wasnt there to pressure me just to help make a decision. I work in the auto industry, and have bought a lot of cars so I initially figured it was the same sales pitch Ive heard a million times at other dealerships and then the pressure would be on, but Mak wasnt lying!I didnt feel pressure even once, he and Justin listened to my questions and made negotiating easy. They gave me a generous offer for my trade and worked with me on the price of the Tiguan. They even let me go home and think about it and didnt use typical dealership tactics to try and get me not to go. I called the next day and Mak and Justin were happy to answer more questions I had, once we agreed on the phone I set up a time to come in and sign paperwork.All my paperwork was ready to go and I went to the finance department, I was worried because finance can be where things break down. Instead I signed my paperwork declined the things I didnt want and was not pressured to get them at all.Coming from someone who cant stand dealerships and the games they play, I was deeply impressed by Pignataro.

I can never trust this company again. So I bought a 70 dollar fan relay off their website and I used their vin number system where you type in your vin number and it will say if it’s compatible with your car. Well this part said it was compatible when it actually wasn’t. I I took it out of the box and showed my mechanic and he told me it wasn’t for my car. Well I put it back in the box but I threw away the mailing package and returned it with a fed ex package for an additional 20 dollars. I waited for almost a month to try to get a refund for the part and when I finally got a decision the manager Jeff from the parts department accused me of frying the relay and trying to return it broken. I told him I never used it and even if I wanted to plug it in somewhere I couldn’t because it wasn’t compatible. He told me that he doesn’t know that so he has to assume I’m lying..... we basically had a yelling match because he didn’t want to hear what I had to say. I put my trust in this company and when they messed up they stole my money and accused me of trying to get over on them. I will never use their company again because of this fiasco and now I’m out almost 100 bucks.

Erik was a pleasure to work with. Made us a great deal on a 2015 Honda Accord. He was very professional and courteous. He did not push any warranty or additional charges on the deal. It was an excellent buying experience. To those reading this, dont look at the price of the car, look at how you are treated. Erik treated us very professionally and listened to what we had to say. Not the other way around. He didnt sell the car, the car sold itself. He treated us like customers who will be coming back for future purchases. Makes a huge difference

I have been customer of the Pignataro Volkswagen Service department for about 2 years and always was highly satisfied with their service and prices.Recently, I exchanged my 2015 GTI for a 2016 Volkswagen R, purchased at a small independent car dealership. During the purchase process, the seller offered to pay for a new start button and installation at a Volkswagen service of my choice. Pignataro installed the start button for an absolute great price and performed a free complimentary inspection to make sure everything is up to date and in perfect shape. They pointed out a few specifics about this car that are not original VW. Although I was aware of these items before purchasing the car, it was wonderful to get a second opinion!

My low tire pressure light came on while I was near Pignataro. I circled back to ask if they would check if my tire was punctured or just needed air. They checked it out and the tire did have a puncture. The service department patched it up for me, and they didn’t charge for the service! I’m extremely grateful for their help and generosity. I was lied to and misinformed. I brought my car in for two recalls. One recall was resolved and for the second recall, I was told that the unit in the car was not the one affected. (Whatever that means). Then I was told that my car needed about $2,300 worth of fixing, I declined of course since my car runs great without any check engine lights. However I did choose to have my brake lines flushed and the clutch as well. I was told that this service would be $100 each and I declined. I received a call exactly an hour later informing me that I could get that same service for $140 so I accepted. So the next day I arrive to pick my car up and the clutch pedal is stuck to the floor. I try to drive the car and the clutch will not come back. FYI, this only happened twice before I brought the car to them and that is why I accepted to have them perform this service. I walk back in and ask the service person that I was working with to drive the car and after he comes back from driving it, he informs me that that was just the first step in resolving my issue. Really?!!?!?!?!?! I was NEVER told that. This is why I have never liked dealerships and have always chosen to give my money to small independent mechanic shops that know what they are doing and keep their word. In a big business like this, there is NO responsibility, nobody will will accept responsibility. The lot attendant will blame the technician, the tech the mechanic, the mechanic the service sales man and he will blame the manager and so on. Where does the buck stop???? Who will say, “hey we screwed up, how can we fix it?“. Never again will I go to this dealership nor recommend them.

If you’re looking around for a car to buy, and stumble across Pignataro do yourself a favor and see Jeff Long. I have bought (3) cars and traded in (3) cars. Jeff and Mike (sales manager) are super easy to deal with. This time we traded in our GTI that we loved for a SUV. With my GF recovering from having a baby, Jeff and team make it super easy to come in and sign all the paperwork which took about 35 minutes. They gave us a extremely good amount on our trade in, and saved us on our new SUV for under Market value by $1500.I’ve spent the last (2) weeks searching for different vehicles and dealing with a bunch of different sales reps at other dealerships. For some reason we just come back to Jeff because you cannot beat his honesty and integrity. You don’t get that typical salesman vibe at all. For that reason we looked into a Tiguan and I test drove about (5) different trims and years. Not once did Jeff push the vehicle on me, or ask me why I didn’t like it and ect like the other dealerships did to me. Do yourself a favor on your next vehicle, and buying experience talk to Jeff Long and team about what they can do for you. As long as Jeff and Mike are there I will go back for my next purchase. Oh also, they threw in a free oil change and fueled it up! Kathleen in financing is super nice and very good at getting the paperwork signed, and explaining all the documents. She only mentioned the extended warranty one time, and didn’t push at all.

Thank you Nick in the service department for the excellent customer service! He was very communicative through each step of the process which put my mind at ease. I so appreciate his diligence, extra effort, and transparency. I had a cracked starter and an entire engine replaced at this dealership due to having a salvage title vehicle with a complicated repair job needed. My brother figured it would be easier just to swap the motor. I had it seen at two previous mechanics and the prices were quite astronomical for the particular repair we were considering vs the value of the car. Fortunately, this dealership was reasonable and thorough. They also offer options that other dealerships and even some private mechanics don’t which is much appreciated. Prior to coming here, I was referred by a wonderful mechanic and the owner of Kirkland Autoworks. He mentioned the fair prices and quality work done at Pignataro when I asked him who to go to for a prior issue which required a VW specialist. I’m grateful for having such a big job well done and in a timely manner.

I scheduled service online with a request to get a call back to get quote on work. After a few days I called, got a partial quote and they disconnected while still talking to them. I called back and the person I was speaking to was gone. I asked them to call me back. I received no call back at all.I take the vehicle in and they talk about pricing. They call me later to try and get me to upgrade parts and I approve. They call me to approve a repair, one of the primary reasons I came in, since it wasnt covered by warranty. I approve.I come back the next day since they say its done. I get home and find out the repair work wasnt done, they just charged me labor to diagnose it but to not actually do the work.I really dont like having my time wasted with unprofessional service.

I have been an owner of my 2014 TDI Jetta for six years now, and I go regularly to Pignataro Volkswagen to get my services done or other maintenance issues resolved. Out of my six years going there, I have had continuous poor service and poor work done on my vehicle. Case in point, I had to return to Pignataro Volkswagen numerous times to get my back taillights fixed even though I repeatedly told them my taillights need repairs. Also, I have done there thousand dollar services on my vehicle and I leave the lot with more issues than I get resolved. I arrive during opening for the first come first service and I am the first one in line and I still get skipped regularly. Expect 2 to 3 hours wait for just your oil change and subpar washing and vacuuming of your vehicle.The front desk maintenance supervisor is often rude and not engaged when I talk to him. Also, I never get updates on the maintenance so I know what to expect at the end or what stage they are in. I have to contact the maintenance front desk in order to get a status update.Finally, this will be my last time I do business with Pignataro Volkswagen dealership. it has really degraded in customer service over the years since I bought my first Volkswagen there back in 2014. Also, my experiences have been so bad there that I just get this awful gut feeling when I am there. Just always bad news at Pignataro Volkswagen

I had a terrible experience specifically with Jack Pennington, the service manager at Pignataro VW. During a routine oil service, my oil pan was damaged, and I was expected to pay $500 to replace the part. Throughout the day the service manager took zero responsibility for the damage, ignoring the fact my car was only serviced at their dealership for the last couple of years, and saying that it was just a part failure that I would have to pay for. After an exhausting back and forth, we settled on having them file a claim with VW for the failed part, and myself checking out a loaner for the evening. The next day Volkswagen approved the claim, which covered 80% of the part, and Pignataro generously contributed the other 20%. Whats wrong with this exactly? Well, If I didnt know what is what on a car, and then vehemently dispute the charge they were pushing on me, I would have been charged for the part in full without them ever asking VW for assistance. If that was a possibility all along, shouldnt they try that before asking me to pay? Likewise, the service manager has zero customer service skills, takes no responsibility for damaging your car, and seemingly prefers to lose a repeat customer just to keep his balance sheets positive. If youre looking to perform any service on your Volkswagen that is past warranty coverage, DO NOT bring it here. Look elsewhere for a reputable mechanic that will stand by their work, and cares about their customers.

Just bought an 07 Tahoe from Rob, he was really great and helpful. I was specifically looking for this car and when I saw Pignataro VW had one I knew I had to go there over one of the used car lots. Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon to look at a vehicle. Told Mac that I may be interested in trading my truck. When they returned they told me that my air conditioning was not working. Worked fine before they took my truck without my permission and fine when I got back in it to drive it away. Needless to say more than likely will not purchase a vehicle from them let alone have the vehicle I did purchase serviced there.

I purchased a new/used vehicle from Pignataro VW this week and could not have been more pleased with the experience. I visited several dealerships and drove several vehicles, even getting to the point of talking numbers at a couple other places. Enter the disingenuous sales managers whose were so off-putting that I chose to leave their businesses. This was decidedly NOT the case at Pignataro. The two salesmen I worked with, Mak and Robert, were genuine and patient with my decision process and the sales manager, Justin, was as transparent and genuine as they come. Truly happy with the entire purchasing process and must add that Pignataro has earned my business should I find myself needing a vehicle in the future.

Took care of a recall on my 09 Rabbit. Even though I purchased the car second hand they gave me excellent service, set me up in a loaner, gave a complimentary inspection finding two other issues. This was done at no charge. They didnt bombard me with salesmen when I pulled up trying to sell me anything or over play the extent of the two issues found. We had a great experience with Erick, the internet sales manager. He was very easy to work with through email. Sent us all the information we needed in regards to the vehicle (pricing, inspection sheet, etc.) and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.Erick committed to a price and we setup an appointment to meet. He kept our vehicle under cover (as requested) prior to our arrival and had everything ready for us to test drive. He was informative about the car but was not pushy about anything.We felt very comfortable working with Erick. He was honest, straightforward, friendly, and easy to talk to from beginning to end. No games, lies or gimmicks!I definitely recommend Erick. He is what a salesperson should strive to be.Kathaleen from the finance department was also great. Quick and easy to work with, did not push us to purchase extended warranties and got us out the door fast.Overall, really loved working with the staff there. My experience is something I will remember.

Excellent service. I appreciate the reasonably priced oil change that includes an all points check and hand car wash. The staff was very prompt and professional. Most importantly, I felt comfortable and not pressured to do extra, possibly unnecessary maintenance or added expenditures. I am updating my review after a long year of problems with my certified Passat. Following my horrible experience the first go around, Erik, and Jack in service, as well as Rob in sales did their very best to take care of my issues. They took my Passat for trade in with no questions asked after the 5th or 6th time I had to take it back for warranty work. I did have to eat some of the negative equity but I guess that’s the name of the game. Rob in sales was very kind and empathetic and did his best to get me into a more reliable and nicer vehicle. I appreciate the Pignataro commitment to making sure they turned around my negative experience.

Purchased my 2015 Beetle here at the end of its lease. Experienced an engine misfire and multiple lights showed on the dash. It also misfired in their possession. My car has less than 20k miles on it!! They kept it for a week and couldnt locate the problem. I bought a warranty, but they forced me to pay for the diagnostics because they couldnt find the problem. They didnt have a loaner available, so they set me up with a rental. Two months later, the rental company calls and says they are charging me for the rental. Jack in customer service says he would rather have the money than the customer. Avoid this place like the unvaccinated. Ill be trading my car in for something more reliable and less disappointing. What car has engine problems under 20k? A lemon. Ill be taking this up with the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection office.

My man Chris, the one I would recommend was the best. he knew everything about the car and went the extra mile to go out and tell me about the car over the phone before I drove down an hour to get there. the experience the deal he set up for me was unbeatable! 2003 Jetta brought in for oil change. Staff was great. Used online appointment setter for first time. It was easy to use and I will definitely be using that again. The oil change is a great value for the price. Cheaper than the quick lube places and feels like Im getting much better service.

I was visiting Washington from Canada and accidentally drove my Golf over a curb at night, I was really worried about the vehicle especially as I was travelling internationally. I called the dealership and they were both kind and reassuring. I brought my car in and they looked at it immediately, and even let me look at the underside of the vehicle when it was jacked up to confirm their assessment (ended up being surface scratches only). They walked me through everything step by step and didnt let me pay. It was a sigh of relief to feel confident that my car was in safe condition to continue driving. My gti broke down and needed an expensive repair. I had it towed to Pignataro on a Saturday after service had closed but the receptionist on staff was very friendly and helpful in showing me what to do. The following Monday Dan in service explained to me what they had found and told me up front What it was going to cost. He was very sympathetic but also honest about the issue. The repair was very fast compared to many places that Ive had work done, and Dan gave me an additional discount that I wasnt expecting that made the cost even more affordable. I will be back here for all my repair and service needs.

Unprofessional service manager! Weve bought two vehicles from Pignataro the most recent was a 2018 Tiguan. Our first experience was our new vehicle which was 3/4 low on oil shortly after our purchase. We made an appt and the service dept was just as puzzled they did an oil compression check. It took 3 visits to resolve everything, at the end Pignataro said it was all part of breaking in the engine but that didnt come up until after our 3 visits so this whole oil change process was confusing from the beginning since it was a brand new car. We had purchased extra oil changes and were told you could use them every 5,000 miles so I made an appt to have my oil changed when making the appt they asked if I had any other concerns I said no that Id had my tires rotated so just my oil changed. No mention of a charge since it was under warranty and Id purchased the extra oil changes. I dropped my car off while visiting with the kind shuttle driver Tom while Erik went over the paperwork and pointed to the services that were scheduled like oil change, wash & clean car with complimentary shuttle down the street to the Mall which he pointed to in the middle of the page. Then he point to the signature line and I signed my name. Never was there a mention of the cost while I was thinking I had paid for extra oil changes that could be used every 5,000 miles. I was picked up 2 hrs later and went to get my car. I was given more paperwork which wasnt gone over. When the $85.00 plus tax came up I said their was no mention of a cost at any point. The service manager just kept repeating himself over & over saying you signed it. I would repeat yes I signed it while talking and wouldnt of signed it if I saw the charge since Id paid for extra oil changes to begin with.The service manager isnt worried about customer service and is unprofessional which is not an asset to Pinataro! Its not so much about the $85.00 its that I had already paid for extra. Next question is can I use these at oil changes at another Volkswagon dealership? I wont be back if that service manager is employed at the Everett location. Thank you to other employees who we appreciate your wonderful customer service!Christine Hudak
