J.D. Opel is equal parts genius and wizard. I don’t have good hair. It’s fine and thin, and getting thinner. But J.D. has managed the impossible: to make my hair look consistently great. The color is fantastic, and so is the cut. J.D. listens to what’s working and what’s not, and he goes out of his way to make sure I’m happy. I can’t recommend him enough.

I had 6 years of dark brown box dye in my hair and Cassie was able to use her amazing skills to lift the color and give me an beautiful blonde balayage. Not only does she have wonderful cosmetology skills, she also is very knowledgeable about many products in the salon, carries a great conversation, and provides the best customer service I have had in a long time. I am blown away and will be back soon to try out their other services.

Absolutely amazing!!! My mom kept referring me to JD, so today I finally went. We did a cut, with straightening. He is amazing. We talked as though weve known eachother for years. I was falling asleep when I was getting a wash, and while he was cutting and styling my hair. You know its THAT good!! Even though i only got a trim, my hair looks, and feels amazing!! Ive never walked out of a salon as cheeky, and smiley as I did today. I kept bouncing my hair, swinging it, smiling. Etc. I cant get my hair to look this fabulous at home. The environment is awesome, everybody (staff and clients) had smiles on their face, very welcoming, I dont have any words as to how amazing this place is. Have never experienced such a bad haircut ever!! The girl was recommended for curly hair. My mistake was to believe them. The individual HAS very curly hair I have only written good reviews for any services but this absolutely needs mentioned. If you are needing a new style or just the ends trimmed and you don’t know the stylist watch them in action before getting in their seat!

My appointment with Audrey was wonderful! It took 4 hours to get my hair the way I wanted it. Audrey really knows her stuff! The shampoo room and scalp massage nearly put me to sleep. Having someone ask me over the course of several hours how I was, what I wanted, and if I was comfortable was such a shift from mom-hood and I can’t wait for my next appointment. ❤️

I am from out of state. I got lash extensions done here and they looked nothing liked what I asked for. The lash tech blamed it on me (per the owner) that I opened my eyes and checked my phone during the application (my teenagers were home and I told her I may have to answer/look at my phone and she said she was ok with that). I asked for her to fix my lashes because they had gaps in them and also one side was thicker than the other. How could you send a customer out like that when you should be proud of your work. I paid $253.48 for the extensions and spoke with the owner. I asked for a full refund or a reapplication of the service I paid for. He (the owner) said he was only going to refund me $125 and that I could keep the kit! Customer service is very important and I am not satisfied with his decision and the only thing he said was “I’m sorry”. I even have pictures of what I requested and how my lashes look.

I had a facial and Ive had plenty but never here and the girl doing it (1hr.)Although they said on phone it would be 90mins.was nice but her technic was the same the whole time the same circle nothing different kinda like having a ordinary person do it not a trained .Any other time Ive had 1they changed it up a little at least on each product and it would be interesting and relaxing.They also use no steam.By the time I left my face was swollen the rest of day from the repeative simple circles.She was a very ni ce person but I really wish it would have been more to it not so basic.

I am from Texas and try and time my visits to see the grandchildren so that I can get Paige to cut and maybe color my hair. The salon is terrific. My son gave a “day at the salon” for Christmas several years ago, and I having been coming back ever since. A great value for the money, as well!

In general, I liked the place and my stylist there. She’s very friendly. The salon is busy but they keep it clean. They wiped down the chairs after customers left. The only thing I was disappointed with was that I didn’t get the color I expected. Other than that, I was happy with my stylist and the salon.

I have been going to Shannons for over 10 years, back when she first opened the salon. It is hands down the best salon in the area and well worth the money. I have done both the hair and spa services and cannot say enough great things about it. On my last visit, my highlights around my face pulled a lot brighter than the rest of my hair, Hannah spent extra time getting it toned to the color I wanted and made sure I was happy with my color. Honestly I would go there just to sit in the shampoo room.

Took my Daughter to get perm damaged hair fixed. Olivia took GREAT care of her. Hair came out looking fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend using OLIVIA at the salon!

I went here for the first time today and I’m so glad I gave this place a try. I genuinely loved what Kabrea did to/for my hair— she pretty much revived it from the dead and gave it new life. She did a phenomenal job and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. While it is a little more expensive than the places I’ve gone to in the past, you are truly getting what you pay for and it’s completely worth it. I will definitely be returning.

I always enjoy going in and Holly does an awesome job on waxes. She is so professional as is every other technician there. It is a great atmosphere.The only thing I will say is that the haircuts are expensive. Two haircuts for my 11 year old daughter and 14 year daughter was $71. I have to watch how often we come in because of the cost.Other than that, It is a great place.

Saw Lydia most recently when I went for a gel mani in December to get my nails ready for NYE. Lydia did a phenomenal job! Nails looked great and still do almost a month later. No chipping or peeling off at all. Ill only be taking off the gels now because my actual nail has grown out so much. Will definitely be requesting her for my future manicures there! She was very friendly and professional!

Very unprofessional. Made my appointment almost a full week ahead, and received a confirmation phone call the day before. I arrive on time for my appointment and the receptionist could not find me on the schedule. Then she basically just shrugged it off as if, oh well. If the scheduling is this bad, then they probably did me a favor for not getting me in. Will not be going back for another try. No thanks.With regard to the “response” below, this is not how it happened. I have the transcript of the VM message left for me, there was no mention of other options. When I returned the call, again, there was no mention of other options, just to confirm what I already thought I had, then quickly hung up on the call. Have to say, the attitude of your receptionist (regardless of which version you choose to accept) needs some work. You were misinformed, if you’d like to see the transcript I’d be glad to post it here. You’ll see that you’re pushing the wrong version of events. Just want possible patrons to know how I was dealt with, both before and after.

Went here to get my hair cut and colored. The stylist didn’t seem interested in looking at the pictures I had for hair color, barely consulted with me, it took a ton just to get her to show me two options and in the end I hated what I got. When she asked if I was happy with the result, I indicated I wasn’t thrilled but she didn’t seem to care. The haircut was not great, found a big bunch that was missed. When she was drying my hair she kept hitting me in the head with the drier and was focused on things happening elsewhere, not my hair. After all that, I felt rushed out the door when checking out. The stylist told me there was some kind of promotion going on, but at checkout they never brought it up. They didn’t ask if there was anything else I needed, and took a phone call so I didn’t have the chance to ask about anything. Maybe with a different stylist I would have had a better experience, but the feeling of being shoed out at the end was just too much on top of the rest of the experience.

Hannah was the best! I dont know if Ive ever liked my hair more. She was super nice and made me feel super comfortable. The salon itself may seem pricey but its worth every cent due to their staffs excellent skill and wonderful service. I will absolutely be back to see Hannah again.

I returned to Shannon Aleksandr after being away for a few years. I really appreciated the way I was treated, from the stylist, Kelsey, really listening to what I wanted, even consulting with another stylist to make sure all was understood, to the great precision cut I got. And, as always, the shampoo and scalp massage, even the way the towel is wrapped , is fantastic and really adds to a great experience.

I have been a client since Shannon Aleksandr opened. I have always appreciated their attention to my hair and how I want it. I especially want to appreciate Carrie Caver, my hairdresser for many years. She is always helpful and full of ideas to make my hair look its best. I get compliments all the time.

Use to get my hair done here and know several people that work here. The experience is awful. Everyone that works here talks bad about the clients and will laugh and joke about the clients in the back room. They will even secretly take pictures of clients while they are getting their hair done and go in the back and make fun of them. Its super sad. Way over priced and they are more worried about getting your money than how your experience was.

Nice building but my stylist obviously was not very experienced. She said combing badly tangled hair wet was better than dry. She couldnt understand that severely damaged hair breaks off easier when wet and said I was wrong. Sorry Ive had platinum hair for years but its basic knowledge. After that discussion she tried to detsngle my hair starting from the top. Not happy with this level of service.

Staff was friendly and it’s a lovely establishment. I just don’t think it’s for me. My hair and I left disappointed. Maybe I came in with my expectations too high... or we weren’t on the same page. I wanted a certain hair style and asked for a drastic change. You can’t even tell my hair was done and I just feel like a ton of money was spent on nothing.

I recently had a hydrafacial which was done by Esthetician, Jamia. It was performed in a very clean, private and comfortable room. Jamia explained each procedure before she performed them. When finished my face felt so refreshed and had a noticeable glow to it. I could see the difference in the pores of my face as well. Jamia is a true professional and did an outstanding job. I will definitely go back for more.

The stylist just took over. I showed several pictures of the same haircut and color style I wanted. My hair was at least three inches shorter withan a completely different hairstyle. I wanted about 30% dark purple underneath and ended up with large streaks on the sides. The color looked much more pink in less than 12 hours. I paid a ton of money for something I hate. She just kept telling that I needed to get used to it.
