I would give a zero if possible. Called and made appointment to repair my washer. Was given a time from 8 to 4 the next day. I informed Reg that it would be impossible to be home until 1 pm because of caring for dying family member. “No problem” he said we take care of you. The next morning 730 am get a call that the repair person is on the way. Called back and was told sorry no service until 2 weeks out. Spent 30 minutes going from person to person and ended up with a promise that someone from dispute resolution would call. 2 days later no call, who would have thought it? Don’t mess with these people ! Total jokes

I needed a repair for my LG washer. It cost $109 just for the a diagnostic visit. Parts were ordered and sent to my house. The problem I had was getting a repairman to come replace the part. You are given a window of 8 to 5. At 4:45 I got a text saying they were rescheduling my appointment. This happened twice. The third appointment was successful.

Sears repair was great. Specifically our repair man was so quick and we needed a part that was not on his truck. He said we would have to order it and it would be another week before he could finish the repair. I told him I needed my dryer. Laundry was piling up. He called a parts store that showed they didnt have the part just to check. Their inventory was incorrect and they had it. He drive to the store and was back an finished the repair within 40 minutes. He was awesome.

The tech arrived in the last half-hour of my four-hour window of service. Once he arrived, Brad was very thorough, quick, and professional. The service was excellent, however the four-hour appointment window should be cut down to two-hours.

Service person was an hour late from his call ahead time with no explanation. Looked at the dishwasher and said that he didnt have the parts and that they wouldnt be in Until after Thanksgiving. EDIT - dropped a star after final technician failed to fix the problem. After installing the final part he declared it unrepairable and gave up. The warranty company sent another repair shop out and he turned on the supply line and the dishwasher started right up. I will never again reccomend Sears home services for any appliance repair.

Weve purchased an extended warranty for a second year in a row. We purchased the extended warranty because we figured it would be cheaper to repair our dishwasher instead of replacing it.The problem with my dishwasher is that it does not drain. The repairman seems knowledgeable in how dishwashers are supposed to be hooked up. My dishwasher is not hooked up with the hose going to the garbage disposal. Instead, my dishwasher has a line that goes straight through the floor and into the ground in the crawl space.The repairman did not repair my dishwasher. He told me that it is outside his ability to fix it. He told me that I need a plumber to hook up my drain pipe to the garbage disposal.So.... with that being said... Whats the point of having an extended warranty if the repairman doesnt know how to fix a dishwasher if it is not hooked up in a traditional manner?

The actual repair by the Serviceman was excellent. He arrived when he said he would and performed the repairs very efficiently. The only problem we had was with scheduling the service but that was taken care of by our local Sears Store Manager.

So far so good. i see no water under or around the freezer now. thank you for fixing it this time., the guy that came out to fix it on the 10th just taped up a hose but it started leaking in other places and did not fix it. so now i sure hope it is fixed. and it looks like it is.... thanks again,...

We have had this repair man before on our annual check and he is customer friendly.My issue is having an arrival window from 8am to 5pm. Thats not very customer oriented when you have to take a day off work for repairs or even just inspections.

Not impressed. The process starts when you call and and describe your problem to several different people as if someone’s going to ask you to reconfigure the flux capacitor and things will work again like it should. Nope, then they give you a date three weeks in the future for a repair. Not awesome. Meanwhile the dishwasher leaks all over the floor.Oh they give you a website to go to to reschedule, just so you don’t have to call in again to try to get a closer repair date. So I go there and reschedule, and on the day they reschedule they call me to reschedule. Nope, I have enough and call in again, rearranged my schedule so someone would be at my house, and they need to reschedule... no nonsense.They do send someone out, senior grumpy, who complains about whomever installed it, and left with the dishwasher not attached to the cabinet, so every time I pull it open the whole thing comes out to eat at my toes. Another appointment scheduled three weeks out again.Not a happy customer.Will never buy from sears again.

The repair person was professional and ordered the Warranted parts for my LG 3300 refrigerator. When they arrived to my house, he installed the parts and had the refrigerator repaired. The Refrigerator lasted two days and the temperature rose to 70 degrees Fahrenheit which ruined my food, Again.Sears then said there would be a charge for the repair to return to fix his mistake. I already have $300 in the refrigerator, now Im going to have another $200 for who knows how many times. Less expensive to buy a reliable refrigerator.Needless to say, I will not buy anything from LG and checking into the Lawsuits, and disappointed in Sears. Sears at one time made their company on service, but not any more.

My repairman was very good but he explained to me that it wasnt put in the right the first time so I really have a temporary fix and will have the same problem soon. My lint is going out throughout my apartment instead of down and out of my apartment. He told me I needed a telescope and lent at Lowes. Not acceptable

My washer has been down for close to 2 months. Called to get repaired first time took 2 weeks to come didnt have all the parts had to order a part another 2 weeks came and the tech came and put the part on said it was fixed I came home and put a load In the wash as soon as I started the washer it was doing the same thing. The technician could not have started it to see if it was working. Called back 2 more weeks for a tech to come out to only say I think the part we put in was bad the tech had to order the part and 2 more weeks and still waiting to use my washer. RIDICULOUS! It wont let you post unless you click 1 star wasnt wanting to give any star!

My repair person was Brad. He did great - very cordial and professional.The reason for only 4 stars was the high-pressure / relentless tactic employed by Sears Reair customer service to sell either 1) an entire home warranty or 2) an appliance warranty. I called to get my WASHER problem diagnosed, and possibly fixed. I had to say No four different times in order to schedule a repair person to come to my home to take a look at my washer. So that was cumbersome, unnecessary and a waste of my time - please dont keep trying to sell me something after Ive declined once!

Absolute idiots. After going out of my way to give MY NAME and MY PHONE NUMBER, somehow their lazy phone rep left in the previous home owners information.When I called after the rep was late, they confirmed it was still on.Then the previous home owner contacted me and said sears was calling them....The tech called me and said they canceled the order because the previous owner acted like he knew nothing.When I called back, they said that the techs eta was 4:30-6:00.... The tech never came..I wasted a week waiting for these guys to come and do nothing. Eventually I had to get on youtube and fix it myself. Wasted a lot of time I could have spent doing more productive work. I will never do business with this company again. Absolute idiots.

1. Never showed and never called. Call center was useless trying to fix the situation. I called at 12:45 she stated he would be there at 3:20. I called back at 4:00 and I was told he came by earlier in the day and they would have him come back out today. Called back at 4:45 and I was told it needs to be rescheduled because he won’t be in my area. This is my second reschedule. Other members of my family were forced to reschedule due to no shows for a month.

Was initially disappointed that the part needed to repair my washer had to be ordered. This was through no means the fault of the repairman. He was courteous and apologetic. Scheduled another appointment for one week later, but told me to call him when the part arrived thru UPS and he would try to get back here sooner. I called him the day that it arrived and he managed to get here that same day. Great fix. Super nice guy.

We have a service agreement, which is cheaper in the long run since they dont make products to last long. We waited a month for a repair appointment, but the technician J.R. was very thorough and went above and beyond to ensure that the washer was in working order.

Made the appointment....on that day my husband took off work for the afternoon because a repair man was suppose to be at our home between 1-5. Email confirmed the appointment and to make sure someone was at the home when repairman came. We waited. At 5 we called they said they canceled the appointment because they didnt have someone who could come out. They never showed, never called us to resceduled, they will never get our business again.

I have been a long time customer of Sears Appliance Repair and have always had great service. This current repair order has been problematic with respect to the scheduling of a technician. My initial appointment occurred on Dec 26th, technician assessed the problem, ordered the parts, scheduled the return visit for Jan 9th. Parts arrived several days later. The return appointment has been subsequently re-scheduled for Jan 11th, then Jan 19th, then Jan 23rd. On Jan 23rd, I called to confirm the appointment and they had no record of my appointment and it was again re-scheduled for Feb 1st. At this point, I will have had the parts for the repair for over a month.To say the least, I am not impressed and would be hesitant to use them 8n the future.

No repairman showed up at all today on Sept.19 Wed. to replace new disposal which is in the box. No one is licensed to put it in. The new disposal is sitting on the cabinet unopened in the box. ZERO to Sears for the fourth attempt to replace something on their Sears Master Protection AGreement which i have paid for since the early 80s at my Evansville home and then in 1992 on at my Newburgh,IN home currently. With terrible service staying at home four times to get something done over the past TWO months and no one shows up to do anything. Please post so others will not sign up for any warranties from Sears. What happens when my water heater or water softener goes out?No one there licensed to replace the new one either?? THank you for absolutely nothing.The Master Protection AGreement is not worth the paper it is written on. I hope others do not have this same problem with not having a licensed plumber on staff.

For 300 all the repairman did was pull the tube forward on my water dispenser and cut 2 inches of brittle tube off ... 6 months later now its broken again . Called Sears and they said I would have to pay again ... Nope !
