Dave Lappe and the Technician Adam were great. Dave was able to work with me on pricing and service, Adam was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help teach a first time home owner the ins and outs of how an AC unit operates. You guys did great and have definitely got a repeat customer in me .

Lappe came through again! My AC stopped working overnight last Friday. One quick call and I had a service rep at my home by around 10 am Saturday morning. Fixed by 10:30 am. Great service for a weekend emergency.

Got a call from our daughter telling us the ac wasnt working. We called a company to come out and do a check up on the unit. Well about 30 minutes later we got a call from an ac company that shall remain nameless that the ac unit was bad and needed to be replaced . We were kinda of expecting that, what we werent expecting was the estimate. So we said we will think about it and called Lappe Heating and Air for a second opinion. Dave was great. You see my wife and I live in Florida and our daughter in Evansville so that makes it a little harder. I told Dave what was going on and how much the estimate was and he said whoah that seems a little high. Dave told us they would come out and check the system. Yes we needed a new one. He gave us a price it was way better than the other place and he said he could have it done by the next day. The work was completed everyone is happy and cool. We just cant say enough about Lappe they took care of us. If we could give 10 stars we would Thanks again for making it so easy when we were so far away

This year our air conditioner went out for the second year in a row. The company which installed the furnace and air conditioner 25 years ago went out of business since the last service. Not being a local to Evansville, I didn’t expect a company to quickly arrive to service something that didn’t install. I contacted them one evening via the website and they called me the next morning to schedule a service for the same day which is pretty remarkable. The service tech was friendly and professional, and, most importantly fixed the immediate problem to get the unit going again. Since the furnace and air conditioner have been consistently been having problems, we decided to have them install a new furnace and air conditioner. They were communicative during the process, arrived on time, worked hard, and didn’t leave a mess. Highly recommend.

Always fast an excellent service

My heater went out last winter. Called Lappe and they made it out in a few days. Busy time. They checked my heater and said it would be $750 for repairs and I would need to pay $400 up front to order the parts. They never wrote up an estimate for me. I waited. a few days for parts. When the parts came in they replaced a heater core and capacitor. Total cost $750. My heater still did not work. They never gave me a receipt or an itemized bill. Just took my money and left.

We had a furnace/water heater flue issue in an older house. A dangerous issue that could have allowed carbon monoxide to not be vented properly. It was a tough decision regarding how to fix it and the technician had to consult with his superior, but they figured it out and worked really hard to get it done the same day they were called to look at it. They did great work and the price was very reasonable. I will recommend them to friends.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called to make an appointment and they said they would be there at noon. The technician didn’t show up until between 3 & 4. The techician was there for about 30 minutes and then left without telling me what was wrong. I, then, received a call from the owner/manager saying the technician was going to a different job. I wait until the next day and call the owner/manager to find out what is wrong. He tells me he doesn’t know and that he will call the tech. He calls me back within 5 minutes and tells me what the issue is. We went ahead and went with another company. However, about 2 weeks later I receive a bill in the mail. I call, again, to explain to them the issue and that I refuse to pay for nothing. The owner/manager says to me “I guess we will write off the hour but do NOT ever call us again.” and then hung up the phone. VERY RUDE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Lappe Heating and Air replaced our furnace and air conditioner a year ago. We received a rebate from Vectren and a tax credit for installing an energy efficient furnace and air conditioner. My advice...if its time to replace your unit(s) dont wait, youll be more comfortable and save money monthly on your utility bills!
