All they have here is young women, all college student interns. They don’t know anything but how to get you to talk and charge you for it (very cheap, you get what you pay for). Coincidentally they’re all attractive (I’ve literally been explained this by the director), so if you’re a man looking for help, probably just don’t bother.

I have been receiving counseling services at Center for Community Counseling for the past year. When I arrive for my counseling appointment, I am always welcomed by courteous and friendly staff members who offer me something to drink while I wait for my therapist. I am most impressed by how friendly the staff members are to each other and their clients. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting and has always been a positive experience for me.I have worked with the same therapist for awhile now and she has helped me work through a very difficult time in my life. I am confident in her abilities as a skilled therapist and feel grateful that she has helped me learn coping skills and achieve some goals. I highly recommend Center for Community Counseling to anyone.

Amazing agency! I love that this organization exists to help meet the mental health needs of low-income folks in our community. With exceptional counseling skills from all of the interns and volunteers, its such a vital service to have in Lane County! If you need some counseling and fear the cost or feel you cant afford it, give them a call! You wont be sorry!

Had an intake here and paid $20 three months ago. Called back three times over next month, after being promised a return call within two weeks. Completely blown off. They basically stole my money.UPDATE: After leaving a negative review on Facebook they contacted me and refunded my money. But, it took making it public for them to make it good.

Had a very unwelcoming experience yesterday...my appt was at 4pm, as usual Im always early so I was there a little after 330, the door was locked so I knocked and a lady opened the door and immediately asked if I had an appt, I said yes at 4 with Josh (whom she said wasnt there yet) she said I was early and sorta shuffled me away from the door (made me feel like i wasnt welcome or able to wait in the lobby, so I walked across the street to get the money to pay for my appt, when I returned the door said closed, so i waited outside to see if Josh showed up...i didnt see anyone arrive.Needless to say at 4 i just left and walked across the street to catch my bus home...I then texted Josh and said I was there and I was waiting but ultimately left because he didnt show up...his response was we were all standing inside and the door was open.I felt very unwelcome and very uncomfortable with my very first experience going to this place...and the response I got seemed very cavalier!I went to this place because I needed help...and I was left with zero help and a very unwelcoming attitude and atmosphere

Met the co-founder of this center and went along to see if I could get counselling. Everyone there was very very kind and helpful, it is entirely run by volunteers...

I have heard nothing but amazing things about this organization and have mutiple friends who credit CCC with helping them to become more balanced and in control of their emotions. I look forward to taking a group class here in the near future. We are so lucky to have sliding scale community counseling in our town!
