And before they add their link for google recording…I have an apple recording. I was NEVER told there was a cancellation fee, nor was I informed about miles. Courts really like liars who think the other didn’t record…got to love one party states…I called for a replacement key, was quoted for a dealer lock with key fob. They came with a valet style key and informed me it was $75 for service, $140 for miles (34 miles each way) and $160 for the key. I said Cancel as the dealer would tow and give two key fobs for $425. They then said oh, we will give you a fob key if you give us the valet key. Then this stray German Shepard lab mix with no collar was peeing on my fence, so my husband and I were telling it to go home. Turns out it belonged to the smith. In addition, my husband told her to charge the miles and leave. They charged $235!!! Do NOT use this company.

I had my purse stolen (with my car key inside) yesterday and had to get my rav4 key replaced. I called at 8pm yesterday and could have had it fixed last night (extra cost), so I opted to have it taken care of this morning. I was given a 2 hour window when she would come, she arrived towards the beginning time of the appointment. She was kind, professional, and fast. I appreciate how easy it was for being in such a stressful situation myself.

Scheduled an appointment a week in advance. Showed up and waited for 30 minutes outside of an empty building along with another confused customer who thought he had an appointment scheduled at the same time. Got a call an hour later when he arrived where I was informed I was supposed to call ahead to confirm I was coming to the already scheduled appointment (confusing?). Then was told “well we have 3 other jobs waiting” when I offered to take my business elsewhere. Not apologetic. Poor customer service. — in response to the reply, if you’re going to require people to call in to confirm they’re coming and require they wait, what’s the value in having an appointment? The phone call I received was still extremely rude, unprofessional, and represents poor customer service even if I misunderstood the scheduling model. Not the way to interact with customers— a tone which anyone can see is evident in the response to the review below.

I’ve been to this place twice to duplicate house keys and they’re incredibly fast, friendly, and very cheap! They were even able to duplicate a pretty old, kind of strangely shaped key. Would definitely recommend, but make sure to call ahead before you drop by to make sure they’re around.

We would definitely recommend these guys! We lost our only key fob, and after days of locking, broke down and decided to have it replaced. We live in Winchester Bay which is 89 miles from Eugene, but they were the closest place to use that provides the service we needed. They were very helpful and gave us a few different options for our replacements. We were going to pay out of pocket, but come to find out our roadside assistance plan covered everything besides the cost of the actual key. They made it all the way out to us same day and got the job done quickly. Ill also add, that even when I thought I was going to have to pay out of pocket, they were competitively priced.

Second time using Locksmith Eugene. Last time for my car that I wanted a spare for. Honda wanted to charge nearly $200 for the fancy key fab (sp?). Locksmith Eugene did it for like $60 and even included a valet key. I called yesterday to get pricing on a home re-key job. The quote was so good that I set an appointment for the next day. They said sometime between 1-3 and he was at my door at 1:15 after calling to let me at 1 to let me know he would be here in 15 minutes and had the job done in 30 minutes. Service guy was very friendly and professional. Long story short.....I think this company is great. I will use them for all my lock/key needs in the future. Highly recommended!

I greatly appreciated them honoring the quote. Unbeknown to them I had just been laid off for at least 30 days, so the honoring of the quote was deeply appreciated. Fast and very professional. I needed a new key fob for my vehicle and they had it in stock. They programmed it and had me out the door in 10 minutes, and for half the price of the other 3 places I called.

Super great guy to work with. Took our call on a Saturday, and gave me enough info over the phone to get our car started even though it was having issues with the key transponder, which meant we didn’t need to get the car towed. Horrible customer service! I am a police officer who was assisting a mother who locked herself out of the house, leaving her infant child inside. When I called to get a locksmith out I was told by Simon, the owner of the company, I need payment before I come out. I told him to get to the location and he would be paid - IT WAS AN EMERGENCY!!The guy tells me, I will be there in 15-20 minutes. I hang up the phone and within five minutes I was able to get the door unlocked to the house. I called back and was told the charge would be $125. For what? Getting out of bed? I asked for a reduced amount and his wife was kind enough to knock $30 off the price but still $95 for nothing.Then I get a call from dispatch telling me that Simon questioned if I was a police officer and then refused to come out to the location because he had not received payment first. He then berates the dispatcher. What a tool! If a police officer tells you you will get paid if you come out to do the job and you confirm he is a police officer - you will get paid. Where is basic human decency? This guy is not someone you want to do business with at all.

Simon came out to help with a bound-up lock at our house. He was available within a few hours on a Saturday, and he was great — competent, friendly, fast. Price seemed reasonable for the job. Would definitely call again.
