I inquired about becoming a patient with one of their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. I was informed that they could not prescribe the medications that I’m on, specifically the anti-psychotics. I inquired about why, and they stated that people who need anti-psychotics are “too high of need”. I’ve never been told this before in the 10 years that I’ve been receiving psychiatric care. It is quite common for people with mental health conditions to take anti-psychotics even if they’ve never had psychosis. It should be clearly stated on their website that they do not accept clients with more than mild psychiatric concerns. I am disheartened by the fact that they turn away those who are needing help the most.

I was dealing with a very delicate and high conflict situation with my children and ex husband. Eugene Therapy practice standards are UNETHICAL. I am looking into having them investigated. I reviewed my situation with the manager and the specific counselor, Abbey before preceding and they confidently took us on as clients and made a very bad situation worse! Eugene therapy reminds me of a factory assembly line, They are concerned for themselves and their business over the best interest of the client. Im sure they are adequate for basic concerns but if you have real problems and are looking for support from professionals to get through them, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Eugene Therapy not only is home to able therapists, but has also mastered the art of being an easy-to-use business in a way that few therapists are. Marc has made it a point to make his process and environment extremely user-friendly so that clients can focus on the matter at hand and not be bogged down by logistics, insurance, etc. What a great find!

I’ve been seeing Brandon Marshall for a few weeks now, & he is BY FAR the best therapist/counselor i have ever seen.i know i can speak freely & openly about whatever it is, even the dark stuff that’s on my mind, judgment free.prior to meeting brandon, i didn’t really believe in therapy, or that it could be beneficial to me.i would recommend Brandon to almost anyone, especially if you’ve had negative experiences with counseling before.

Jennifer the intake person is a nightmare. Even with the best insurance, getting to be seen is horrific!! Many Counselors want clients and apparently Eugene Therapy is so busy they can be absolutely rude! They were recommended by another counselor in town that is amazingly positive to work with however for adolescent needs they may be okay with OHP but traditional insurance coverage acceptance sucks!

We had a very bad experience with marriage counseling at Eugene Therapy under Stefan Pasymowski. Stefan seemed predisposed to view me as a victim and my husband as an aggressor which he is not, and being treated this way made my husband feel traumatized and he still suffers negative emotional effects from it. We feel that Stefan did not treat us with cultural sensitivity. Our encounter with him set back our progress in our marriage quite a bit, and made things much worse instead of better. Furthermore, when we brought these concerns to Eugene Therapy and complained, we feel they did not show willingness to correct the problems or tell us what would be done about our concerns. I would not recommend Eugene Therapy for marriage counseling until they can improve their commitment to be absolutely free from bias, respectful to all persons, and maintain focus on strengthening marriage when two people want to stay together.

I have gotten nothing but the run around for years from these guys. I have been put on waiting list and never received a fellow up call yet when i call back they tell Im not on the waiting list anymore. They are not in network with my insurance but I was willing to pay extra to see Linda. She has refused to see me for three years in a row without giving a reason why. I would not recommend this place. Its hard enough accepting you need help. This place makes getting help even harder.

As a business process consultant, Ive been impressed with how Marc and his staff have streamlined the insurance eligibility and benefit check process so patients can be seen quickly. Eugene Therapy helps clients focus on mental health treatment, and removes the typical insurance hassles.

I cant really say enough negative things about my experience with Eugene therapy. To start off their online forms system is completely unintuitive and a pain in the butt! Also the fact that you cant seem to speak directly to your counselor and have to be filled it through these and napped and vapid receptionists is probably the worst part of the entire experience for me so far! I am very very disappointed that my daughters counselor decided to move from the Looking-Glass to this facility and I really hope she reconsiders.
