I usually go here twice a week for prepaid already labeled online sales. I am weird and like to get a receipt for my packages so I wait in line (if there is one), but you can literally walk up to the right side of their front counter and leave prepaid, correctly packaged items in seconds and be out of there. Even with a longer line, I have never been here longer than 20 minutes. Are they the friendliest bunch? No I admit, but some of them are great and helpful. They are people like you and I. Be friendly to them, and they definitely reciprocate. There is also a drive up and drop off for small envelopes and parcels in the front of the post office. What do people expect when coming to a post office? You come in, select your type of shipping, pay and go about your day. Hey do you need postage stamps? Or do you need shipping supplies? Grab what you need. If they ask you if youd like the fastest shipping option, extra tracking or insurance, that is not upselling, they are asking if you want it for your own peace of mind or agenda. Every time I try to send out packages from this post office, there is an employee who gives me trouble every time. The first time was when my family and I were sending a package to the UK. She freaked out because we were spending over $100 to send $30 worth of items. She wouldnt stop until my husband informed her that the recipient had sent us the money for postage. Today I went in and it was her again. I didnt get to finish saying what I needed from her and she started in about how the envelopes dont have enough postage. Do not go to this post office! Go to the one on Escondido Blvd. The employees are very kind, will listen to your in needs and help you quickly.

Convenient location for all of your you USPS mailing needs.However convenience does not overthrow poor service and very unprofessional conduct. I’ve come in to this post office many times with my package already pre-packed and labeled ready to go, however you can always expect for one or more of the staff members to the demand you repackage it using they are packing materials in order to make additional money. And you can also count on them trying to push additional postage and boxes on top of your shipping request.You are best off avoiding this location because you were not going to get your business handled promptly because they’re never on time with their line. Average weight time wages from 20 minutes+ and all you need to buy our stamps or have a package shipped.Never again will I return to the USPS location.

Perfectly fine experience. The staff was helpful and courteous and offered me other places to buy stamps when I didnt see any I cared for there. Bright and clean and has drop off services. Not sure why the other reviews are so poor but mine was lovely

I have been going to this post office for many years, and have the same miserable welcome every time I go in there. The staff look and act like it is an inconvenience to answer questions you may have before mailing something. They never hardly smile, and i dislike going in there. I have driven all the way across town to a different post office just to get a better welcome, and a smiling, happy to help staff member.

No phone number to call local post office directly. Staff is friendly. Usually line moves quickly regardless of whether there seems to be a light staff.

The workers here have always been very courteous and helpful, sometimes suggesting better shipping options for my packages. I really appreciate that extra insight. Thank you.

I think the people at this post office are great. Think of what they have to put up with! Just be kind to them and at least give them thanks.

Our post lady has a bad vendetta- nothing is more frustrating than trying to get ahold of someone at the usps. DMV is a cake walk compared to the usps

Two of the cashiers have an attitude and can be very very rude. However, Ed is the best and provides great customer service!

I really like the service I receive at the Escondido Post Office on E. Valley Pkwy. They are very fast considering there are usually only 2 at the counter and always friendly. I have never had any problems. I avoid the Escondido PO on N. Escondido Blvd. Service is slow and: I mailed 2 packages at the same time with tracking. First, the guy asked me what was in it. I felt very uncomfortable answering his question. Second, the package going across the country got there, the one going to northern CA did not. Tracking said it never left the post office. This made me nervous especially after I was asked what was in the package. The postal person said the PO on Mission was the main office where my package went next. I drove there; he said no that wasnt true. I drove back, she went to the back room, came out and said wait a couple days, its probably late. Well my daughter received her package shortly after, so I think the PO found it and sent it out. She could have told me that and apologized saying I will personally make sure it gets out today. Love the Valley Pkwy office and will drive out of my way to go there.

Two days in the last two weeks and once before this PO will not deliver my packages. This post Office doesn’t leave a slip that they have a package at the PO on hold. This level of incompetence I cannot comprehend. My apartment complex subscribes to stupid lock boxes so when you are not home the PO can put package in a lock box and not walk to your home to deliver. I do not subscribe to paying for a lock box. I do pay for shipping on most purchases. UPS and FedEx will not use the lock boxes! Thank you for that! To make onowledge there are any a Federal law providing the non delivery of my packages by this PO and I’m PO’d! Or not to leave a slip for non delivery? Wouldn’t that be nice info for me to have? This is the other I am home all day!!! I go no where!! In fact all this in violation of my delivery rights and I was home to receive my packages. Matter a fact if I order a package I track it’s delivery. I am at home. PO Jan st because people opt out on the lock boxes doesnt all you to not deliver packages! Another poorly run agency Trump fix! Before it goes bankrupt anyway. I was told at the management office my packed weren’t delivered because I don’t buy a lock box. From here I order nothing that the PO delivers. Oh the question remain what happens to my purchases? They have not been returned for my money back. Do you keep them or are they stolen at PO? They go somewhere? I called the parallel universe she doesn’t have my sneakers!

The people who deliver are always screwing up my package pick-ups. On Many occasions, including today, I scheduled a pick up, specified where the package would be and as I heard the mail car pulling up to the house the moron delivered my mail and drove right on by. Didnt BOTHER to look for the package and didnt even leave the confirmation of the pick up in my box. Trying to get a hold of the USPS is a GOD DAMN NIGHTMARE! After listening to about 5 minutes worth of recorded BS then you have to wait another 20-30 minutes to speak to a rep. I needed the package picked up because I have other obligations to deal with and now I have to set here and wait and wait and wait and wait. Stupid. I am starting to seriously despise the USPS.

Im writing to share my disappointment with the Post Office here not providing parcel bins for the best mail carrier that your office has. I live in the Eagle Point appartments for 10 yrs and Michelle the mail carrier has been delivering and making sure we all get our mail for as long as Ive lived here and alot longer from what she has told me.But due to the Post Office lack of response I understand she is now taking another route due to the wear and tear she endures luging those large parcel up and down stairs and elevators> We need her to keep her route here because she knows it well and is the most friendly & caring person without a doubt that you have on your staff. All the tennants especially myself look forward each day for Michelle to show up. Not so much for the mail but for her vibrant and friendly personalility. Please get her those parcel bins! I like to also add that this day 7/9/2016 that I recieved mail from someone who hasnt lived here in at least 10 years. This is the first day we now have a new mail carrier and Im getting mail that is not mine. If Michelle was still on this route that wouldnt of happened.

I had to call the other 2 offices before calling this ibe because they all said they couldnt hear me and asked for my number to call back when I tryed to call back they didnt answer till I called this one , the lady was better than the others atleast she didnt yell I cant hear you . I tested my phone by calling my sister and she said I sounded perfectly fine. I think if they cant handle their customers they shouldnt have the job. In conclusion terrible customer service.

Worst staff I had the displeasure to meet today. This is why FedEx and UPS are superior than the USPS!

They lost my package and their services were horrible.

I sent a package and they took part of what I sent. How abusive I do not say that all the workers, but for one who makes bad decisions, affects the other colleagues he had sent several times and this had never happened to me.
