Quick-dry was like an answer to prayer. They were available at non-business hours. Every single person, technicians, phone representatives and managers, were ready and willing to help and answer my questions in a thorough way I could fully understand. There work was excellent as was their customer service. I could not imagine going anywhere else for this kind of service.

We are so very impressed with Quick Dry Flood Services! Our home had a pin hole leak in a copper hot water pipe which our plumber repaired. Our plumber highly recommended Quick Dry and had used them himself. We have used our plumber for over 20 years so his recommendation meant a lot to us. We called Quick Dry right away and they came to our house immediately to set up fans to begin the drying process The workers cleaned up after themselves and couldn’t have been nicer. Dave worked with our insurance company and took all the workload from us. All arrangements were made for replacing the insulation and making our house normal again. We would rate Dave and Quick Dry with a 10 out of 10. We are so thankful that we called them.

If I could give Quick-Dry 10 stars, I would! We have, unfortunately, had to call these guys twice this year and each time they have sent Daniel out to check the damage and get his team set up to start the demo/dry out. Not only have I noticed how unbelievable the quality of work is but I have even had other contractors in my home comment about much they know their stuff! Real professionals, I truly feel like I am the only person Daniel is working with even though I know he is managing a ton of other projects.Responsive, reliable, honest, educational....I could go on. Daniel worked not only with me, but with the owners of our home to make sure our insurance claim was quickly and fairly handled as well.Their demo team - Jeremy and Cody are the best I have ever worked with too. I have never left a contractor alone in my home but these guys instantly made me feel like they had everything under control. Even helped me communicate with the many other contractors coming in and out. Took so much stress off my plate. I do not like the reason as to why I had to call them, but I wish I could have them do every project I have at the house! You will not be disappointed with Quick-Dry! Trust me.

We had a water damage due to the leak of our dishwasher. Our plumber called Quick-Dry and they arrived within 20 minutes. The gentleman from Quick-Dry was very polite, friendly and professional. He covered all the furniture in the living room before the work started, and wiped our floor before he left. He also explained everything and answered all of our questions patiently. Three days later, when they came to take their equipment and finished up the work, another gentleman from Quick-Dry carefully tested our floor and marked the area damaged by the water. This was a big help for going through the insurance. Dave from the main office of Quick-Dry is very nice and helpful too. Everyone we have worked with from this company is amazing!

I recently had a water leak from pipes running under my 2nd floor which resulted in water leaking from the ceiling to the first floor. Started at around 4 AM. Mother in law woke me up all wet.Since this is the first time dealing with a situation like this, I got hold of the first available local plumbing company who could help stop the leak. The guys responded in like 1 hour and they called in QuickDry to help with the remediation. I started calling my Insurance company (Travelers) to file a claim. QuickDry responded in less than an hour. Insurance company asked if there is someone already contacted for the remediation and I said that the plumbers have contacted QuickDry. Note: At that time, the insurance company did not offer their own recommendation of a remediation company. QuickDry came in, went through paperwork and started their work removing all the damage, flooring etc. They setup all their equipment. Took them like 8 hours but the techs. were very professional and thorough. Due to their quick response they helped limit the damage to only the bedroom. All went well and the equipment they used (dehumidifiers etc.) were like those powerful ones. I presume the objective was to dry it off as quickly as possible. Then the trouble with the insurance company started. The insurance adjuster was refusing to pay the full amount that QuickDry had billed for. The insurance company instead sent in a company they mentioned they worked with to provide their estimate. This preferred company was based off a location that was about 100 miles away. These guys came in 3 days later for the inspection. The company came in with a quote of about 1/3 the amount. I was not happy with the way the insurance company was dealing with QuickDry. They literally refused to talk to QuickDry. QuickDry was so patient in all this. I was so confused why would an insurance company was not willing to pay for a something that would have saved them more money. If I had waited for their recommended company (100 miles away), assuming they would have responded right away like QuickDry did, I would think not only the bedroom, but my living room etc. would have been flooded. I argued with the insurance company, Not only was the insurance company adjuster and his supervisor rude, they did not even consider the fact that we had to act fast to reduce the damage which in turn saved them so much more money. Its like they were willing to allow more damage but we have to use their own preferred remediation company. Something did not smell right here. But in any case, QuickDry was awesome. They were patient during all this negotiations. They are a small local business and I would think we all would like to support them rather than a company based 100 miles away. In any case I thank QuickDry for their quick response and for doing an excellent job on remediating the flood. Lisa who I worked with at QuickDry is awesome!! Thank You for your patience and having to deal with the insurance company. I would recommend QuickDry anytime to anyone who need flood services.

Quick Dry was fast in arriving for our flooded house, however, BEWARE!!! Before you know it, youll be signing paperwork for all the costs and signing for a mold test depending on the year of your house. They put so many machines in my house that the average temperature was 105 degrees for 5 days and then they lied on the paperwork about it. Most of my antiques dried out and some cracked bad including a 100 year old Piano. After 6 days, our bill was over $20,000. I heard Servpro is more fair.

Had a flood and my crooked Insurance company sent out one their crooked vendors. The preferred vendor arrived and anything I stated, had to be run past my insurance company first. The more I pushed the preferred vendor, I found out they get work from the insurance company directly because they take adjusters to dinner, get them sporting event tickets and straight up become their lap dogs. I kicked off their preferred vendor and brought in a family owned, reputable company named Quick Dry. I noticed any negative review on Google seems to be an insurance company trying to slander a reputable, hard working, family owned business. Pathetic and typical. Insurance companies are as crooked as they get with denying claims and ripping people off. I know this first hand being an attorney working against such a corrupt industry. I highly recommend Quick Dry because they dried out my home in La Jolla quickly and didnt lie down for the insurance adjuster.

My elderly mother-in-law contacted Quick-Dry at a plumber’s recommendation after a slow toilet leak was repaired. The Operations Manager (Ralph Moreno) and another technician arrived promptly to assess the damage. As my mother-in-law is a high-risk individual in terms of COVID-19, I was happy to hear that Ralph and his colleague practice appropriate precautions (mask, gloves, social-distancing) and limited their time in the house. They quickly assessed the damage (which was minimal) and made recommendations for repairs without leaving expensive equipment. In the end, they did not charge for the visit. Thank you, Ralph, for your professionalism and courtesy.

In January, the employees in your company worked together to help us deal with a water leak under our home. We called you at the recommendation of our plumber. You came out in a timely manner and proceeded to use your manpower and amazing equipment to dry out The Marsh, as our plumber called it, under our home. Unfortunately, our insurance company has denied our claim, citing that the leak had been going for a while, and it was not a sudden or catastrophic flood. It was totally hidden with no outward evidence. We have been unable to reason with them with five emails, phone discussion with four claims people, and finally with letters to the California Insurance Commission, we got a final letter of denial this week.BUT TODAY, we got a call from Quick-Dry to inform us that our bill was being cut from $5,900 down to $2,950! We are amazed and so very grateful that your company would do this to help us. We are so grateful and just wanted you to know how we feel. Thank you so very much.

Had to call a company to get water out of my Solana Beach home. Been living here since 1968 and this is the first time Ive ever had water damage. I had to call my insurance company State Farm, and I found them to be very uncooperative. Fortunately I am surrounded by very kind neighbors who told me about Quick Dry. I gave them a call and they got to my home within the hour. They walked me through the whole process and showed me everything that needed to be done. They took the extra time and showed me the readings of the wet areas and took photos of everything. At the end of the job they sent me copies of all the photos which I really appreciated. Im glad I had those photos because I had to deal with my corrupt insurance company. Im 75 years old and living on my own and I found that Quick Dry employees were very kind and courteous. They took the extra time to listen to all my questions and answer them professionally. I highly recommend this company. Please pay attention to the negative reviews. Quick Dry absolutely pushes the envelope on insurance fraud. They came out to moms house after the plumber called them after a small leak. From the moment they got there they nearly harassed her on whether she was reporting the incident to insurance. I drove down from LA to help her handle the situation. Quick dry left three fans and one dehumidifier in her house. One fan didnt work, and another fan and the dehumidifier stopped working because they blew out the power strip where they were plugged in. The equipment was in the house for less than 48 hours. When technicians picked them up they claimed they needed to leave them longer and tried to tell my mom she needed asbestos testing and mold testing. I sent them and their fans away and told them we were not using insurance. A couple of days later they sent a bill for over $3000. The bill contained fabricated and duplicate charges, never mind their equipment didnt even work. We felt pushed into making an insurance claim because even if we argued down the bill, it would still be more than deductible. These guys border on criminals, not quite sure how they sleep at night.

Quick Dry masquerades as a reputable business, but in fact they push the envelope right up to the edge of what some might consider insurance fraud based on just how far above market value they charge for their services. We hired them on a recommendation from our plumber, only to discover later that the plumber likely was paid as much as $1,000 to make the referral. At first, Quick Dry wanted $8,000+ for work we later had quoted out by other flood med companies for between $2,000-$3,000. After an agonizing process of working through negotiations between insurance and Quick Dry, the finally brought that figure down to just under $7,000--when our insurance had made it clear they would only settle for just under $6,500.Quick Dry held a gun to our head by liening our home, so we ultimately made up the $550+ gap between insurance and Quick Dry ourselves, just to be able to wash our hands of this terrible company and have them sign an unconditional lien release.I will never, ever do business with them again and hope this review will find their would be customers--like YOU!--before you are unfortunate enough to contract with them!

When I woke up to find water dripping from my ceiling and drywall, I knew that this was a case for the pros. After my plumber repaired the copper pipe leak in my ceiling, I called Quick-Dry to begin the flood remediation services at the direction of my insurance company. Ralph was out to my home a short while later to begin work. Everything proceeded quickly, without a hitch. In a matter of hours, the damaged drywall was stripped and removed from my home. A heater and HEPA filter dryed everything out within two days and were ready to start installing new drywall. Unfortunately, my insurance company proved to be much less reliable than Quick Dry and they informed me that although my claim was no longer valid, they would pay for the flood cleanup work already performed. The insurance adjuster was quite difficult to deal with and would not budge on their settlement. Despite these setbacks, Quick Dry worked with the insurance company and eventually accepted a settlement that didnt require me to incur any out-of-pocket expenses beyond my deductible. Needless to say, I am totally satisfied with Quick Drys services and would not hesitate to use them again under similar circumstances.

Their invoice was detailed and concise. The insurance company did not like the bill; but they did not like the plumbers invoice, nor the reconstruction companies. All three companies worked in unison. The adjuster really pushed their vendors because of price. I did not budge. When it comes to my home and personal belongings; I do not want the least expensive contractor (as the insurance tried to force me). ****DO NOT HIRE QUICK-DRY*****THEY ARE CRIMINALS****We called Quick-dry based off the recommendation from a plumber who came to our home to fix a leak in a water line. We called and asked for a free estimate. A guy showed up within hours and spent 30 minutes. The next day, 2 guys showed up ready to tear our house apart - they cut a 1 x 1 hole in the wall - said we had mold and forced my wife so sign a contract before getting any feedback from our insurance company. At that point, my wife kicked them out of the house. The rest of the story - we went with another company based on the recommendation of our insurance company. Quick-dry billed me for $1,089 for the work described above (to basically cut a 1 x 1 hole in my drywall)! My insurance broker - an expert in his field - traded multiple emails with these guys arguing that their charges could not be justified. In the end, I was forced to pay. RUN! RUN! RUN! And dont look back!

Do not let them in your home. Daniel from quick dry seemed nice enough at first, but then came the hard sell. This was the worst high pressure technique I have ever endured! We called for an estimate because of a leak in our bathroom, and had extensive water damage. From the start he kept on saying how insurance will pay for everything and we dont have to worry. At the end of the inspection he said he was going to bring in the equipment. I told him no, he went on a 10 minute soliloquy about how I am endangering my family, questioning if I care for my kids, and saying that the insurance will not pay if I dont start mold remediation/structure drying immediately. He finally gave me an estimate, which he asked me to sign, I refused, as I did not trust this man. The estimate was over $4500. The next day we had a competitor give us a quote of $2000, but said the work wasnt needed if we were going to remodel anyway. Horrible company!

I hired Quick-Dry for emergency flood services. The technician meticulously photographed what he touched and thoroughly tested for saturation. After finding possible evidence of lead and asbestos he halted demolition and placed machines to dry my space while I awaited test results. The technician also applied surface treatment to flooring slated for demolition, which was expensive and not discussed before application. I am not a flood expert. I do not know the guidelines, when’s or where’s for surface treatments. However, it was off-putting to have this done without a prior discussion and I cancelled their services shortly after. There was some confusion in settling my account with them as I did not understand their collection process. When an insurance company is involved the invoice is sent to them and to homeowners upon request. I wish that the technician had informed me of this when I gave him my claim information. In the end I received my invoice and was informed that the owners opted to consider my file settled for the amount received. The invoice layout is very different than their price sheet. I am grateful that this matter is settled because it would take considerable effort to reconcile the two.Quick-Dry is well rated with the BBB and has a valid bonded license with the CSLB. They sponsor very worthy causes and are well certified and affiliated. They’ve operated in my home town for 47 years. These factors contributed to my hiring of them, but after the questionable surface treatment and a warning by a dear friend to tread carefully, I went back to the computer and dug a little deeper. I decided to use a different flood restoration company that has a fewer liens recorded with the county Assessor, better reviews on Yelp and fewer complaints with the BBB. I was sadden to take my business to a company outside of Escondido, but I was wary of what could have transpired.I am writing this review in hope that this company will refined their practices and procedures, particularly in communicating with homeowners. Collecting on a contract is done with an invoice, when settlement becomes the homeowners responsibly in lieu of an insurance company, phone conversations are not adequate. I hope that Quick-Dry will be able to conduct future business with less liens filed and fewer differences with insurance companies. This company provides a valuable service and much needed jobs to our community. I sincerely wish to see them to operate with better customer satisfaction.
