My experience at Andys was great. I got there a bit before closing, but they managed to get me a time slot at the end of the day. The cut I got was done very well, too. Im definitely going to keep getting cuts there

Andys barber shop has a very friendly, family, safe and welcoming atmosphere! Andy, Granger and Andys wife are very nice people! My son is very comfortable in Grangers chair and always looks amazing when shes done with his cut! I would definitely recommend giving this shop a try if you havent already, I guarantee youll most likely go back!

In less than 15 minutes I had the best haircut experience on my life. The barbershop has an authentically old-fashioned atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Andy is incredibly kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful conversation. Call ahead, get a spot, and enjoy.

Granger is great! Very easy to work with, easy to schedule with, you can text for appointments and she responds quickly. Reasonably priced too. Will be my monthly stop.

I’ve been coming here for the past 6 months now, every other week. I get my hair cut by Grainger. I hope I spelt that right sorry lol. She always does a good job and knows how to talk. The aesthetic is pretty cool and retro. Looks exactly how it does in the photos. They are usually really flexible and there hasn’t been a time where she wasn’t able to take me. I usually call last minute because I’m not good at planning ahead. Thanks for that. Last, it’s family owned with a comfortable setting and average prices. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks for your short wait. I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 mins. Oh and the most important part, the cut, it’s honestly the best cut I’ve had since my childhood barber I grew up with back home.

The scheduling is efficient, there is an appointment time for you, and when you arrive on time you are ushered in. Andy is attentive and does a great job.

We just moved to this area from out of state. I needed a barber as Im starting a new job. I googled “beard barber shop” and Andy’s popped up. Im glad it did. Loved this place. Very friendly, lots of regulars. Recommend calling ahead, but they fit me in. This is definately my new goto barber shop.

Ive never really been that fond of getting my hair cut, but Andy is by far and away the best barber Ive ever had. I still remember how surprised I was after I came back for a second time, 6+ months after my first visit, and Andy greeted me by name! I never thought about going somewhere else after that. The atmosphere is great -- feels very retro with tons of fun signs, pictures, etc. There are free snacks and drinks and a nice bathroom. Andy is consistent and fast -- never had a problem with a bad haircut here. If youre looking for a place in Escondido, or the surrounding area, to get a haircut -- this is the place!

They took care of my every need, had magazines for reading, things to look at and observe, complimentary snacks, drinks and water. I was a walk-in, but they suggested calling in before-hand to get an appointment. They have a long time but Andy is quick and efficient, he will have you out of there in 10 minutes. Andys is one of those places you expect to see in a small town. Walking in off the main downtown street you go in and are greeted kindly. If your a regular, you know he gets pretty busy at times and you can call or text to make an appointment. My hubby does this😊 Set yourself down, grab a magazine, a cold pop or lean back and rest yourself til they call you up to the chair. His lovely and adorable wife Chemene is sweet and very pretty, always dressed up. We highly recommend this place. So lucky to have them in town!

The best overall barber shop experience Ive ever had. To start, he gives a fantastic, clean, and quick haircut. Andy is very friendly and nice. The shop has a great atmosphere, free refreshments and a large selection of up to date magazines for when there is a wait. And you can also call ahead and reserve a spot.

Always busy so call ahead and schedule. Super friendly, and they give out complimentary drinks and snacks. Lots of cool vintage signs.

Moved to CA and was looking for an affordable, no-fuss barber that offered decent value. Got this recommendation from some friends and Yelp and have never looked back. Had about 10 cuts there now, pretty happy with 9 of them Id say. The 1 iffy one was partially due to my miscommunication. I think if youre clear, these boys cant do you no wrong.Really slick operation they are running there. Try to keep my visits to early mornings when I can as I am sure it gets hell-busy after work.Highly recommended.

Andy is a real barber! I like a simple high fade long on top cut that always seems to confuse the girls at super clips and the like. Andy fit me in as a walk in on a busy day and cut my hair just like I like it in half the time it takes the girls at the big chain places. Im not going anywhere else for a cut.

I have now lived in the Escondido/ San Marcos area for over 2 years now and have been to every barbor shop (mainly when Andys was closed) and have to say by far this is the best one I have ever been too and recommend anyone to come here, for me the 20 minute drive is well worth it. Andy is by far the most professional barbor I have came across and always walk out with a great fresh cut and am ways satisfied. Along with that how both Andy and his amazing wife Chemene who is always so kind run the shop by taking appointments which makes very convenient. Overall 5* in my book!
