This place is a little old and shabby, but that is reflected in the price. It is very secure. One must enter a code to get into the gate, then of course each door is secured by a lock. You can buy a lock there, or bring your own, or even use two.Even though I was clueless, the man at the desk was helpful and nice.

The price is great but there’s no air system or anything so it’s hot af In there!

Worst management everThe manager Christine is so mean and nasty do not do your business here(Edit) to clarify I am responding to the response below (from owner response) I was not upset about the late charge not once the whole year that I have been renting my storage was I ever late. I moved the month of July (2021)and forgot to pay. I understand there’s late charges I was upset I never got a call to remind me me my bill was due. No reminder in the mail. NOTHING. When I told Christine about this she answered me with “ I work here twice a week there’s only so much I can do as a manager” that is why I was upset. I’m sorry but management should be in charge of a lot and probably should be working more than two times a week.Another edit: I was upset because Christine also said they were charging me a charge for sending me a reminder notice of $10 that’s what upset me the most so my $65 bill became a $85 dollar bill when I was 18 days late

Ive used American Mini Storage for years...many years. At times Ive had multiple units of different sizes. Its nice that when I had an upstairs unit, there was a freight elevator to make loading and unloading a breeze.American Mini Storage seems very secure as I have never had a worry or problem with my unit. The Managers live on site so that is an added bonus.

Linda and her husband are the nicest and most helpful! They are always very accommodating and respectful. They have great prices I highly recommend

American Mini Storage, helped me recover 80 years worth of family photos, my father left in storage after he passed away. Along with some other things that hold sentimental value to my family. Their facility, is very clean and safe. I accidentally left a one star this morning, I meant to leave a 5 star review. Thank you guys so much.

I found American Mini Storage through Sparefoot. The price looked good, but what really impressed me was they said the place was family owned. Nothing like dealing with people who care about their business.This is the place to use for storage! Prices are right. It is managed by mature adults who treat you with dignity and respect. The facility is very clean, completely safe, and excellent equipment like electric lifts and carts and dollies for your use.Women, you will feel safe going, arranging things in your storage unit, and leaving. Cameras everywhere, absolutely nobody living in their unit, safe, safe, safe. Highly recommended!

Prices and Cust. Service are great! Would give five stars if they would keep storage temp below 80 degrees. No fans. Temp was in 90s in my upstairs unit.

We used a unit at American Mini for just over a year. Our experience was great. The managers go out of their way to be helpful and let you know they are there for you. They are real professionals. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

My grandparents live in Escondido and I recently helped them move some of their things into storage. We found that this facility had some of the lowest rates and the managers were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend using them if you are looking for low cost storage that is easy to access from the freeway.

Terrible service, the manager Bruce said that they keep track of how many times you visit your storage, I was never told there was a limit and he accused me of living in the storage, not sure how the hell you would do that considering the temperature is over 100 degrees in the evening
