Resque Ranch, an undeniable place for healing!!! Everything the owners John and Michelle do here is a labor of love. I have absolutely loved my time volunteering here and have learned something new each time I come. The horses here are so well loved and well taken care of and Im beyond grateful to have the chance to be a part of such a wonderful facility! Michelle has helped me with vet recommendations and has always been happy to answer any questions Ive had. Thank you both for ALL you do and for helping to build my confidence around these beautiful animals!

ResQue Ranch is definitely a place for healing! Michelle and John provide excellent care for their horses and are super knowledgeable. All their horses are well trained and so sweet. I love volunteering and working with the horses. If anyone is looking to adopt a horse I’d definitely recommend coming to ResQue Ranch first!

Ive come a few times and the people are great, and really care about the horses, I havent been able to go back in a while because of my busy schedule but I definitely miss the place

Tell you what you want to hear over the phone but when it came to adoption process it was horrible. No real answer on why the so called board committee didnt allow us to adopt even though the horse been there 3 years and husband said no one will take him because he was not broken and had behavioral problems which we were okay with. We went to another ranch and guess what we were able to adopt a horse and brought him home 3 days later after our experience here.

ResQue Ranch is a beautiful, clean and safe facility that strives on the upmost care and compassion to all the horses that reside there. Every horse at the Ranch gets an opportunity to receive a second chance in their life. With physical and emotional rehabilitation, medical care, proper feeding and specialized training, these horses are then ready to find their forever home and family. Anyone can help by donating either their time, help by purchasing supplies or you can even sponsor a special horse in need until they can find their forever home. This equine sanctuary wouldnt be made possible without the hard work and dedication of Michelle and John. They both make a huge impact in the lives of the horses they save and the people they help.

I had a very bad experience here. The woman running this rescue was not professional and left me alone with a young student to try out horses for potential adoption. She also tried to sell a horse as ridable but still needs work, when it wasnt even green broke! It threw me the second I sat on him. I left the ranch with injuries and nobody ever followed up. Caution! Ask to see someone else ride the horses here before you get on.

Michelle matched me with an amazing horse. The first thing that struck me about this place is how loving all the horse are. Despite their past they all come to say hi and give snuggles. Ground work is done well. Such a gorgeous and wonderful place for these horse to get a second chance. The adoption process is easy and Michelle makes sure her horses end up in the right place with the right person.

Resque Ranch is by far the best Ranch Ive ever been to. We were initially just looking for a rescue facility that our daughter would be able to volunteer at to further her knowledge, but soon realized this was what my daughters wild mustang needed too. The horses are able to roam about with plenty of space among other horses their age. They are trained by natural horsemanship and are nurtured to be happy, healthy and not to mention...there are NO FLIES!My daughter had participated in the 100 day Mustang TIP Challenge with an adopted wild mustang, but after the show, we had some behavior issues we could see developing with the horse and my husband and I had no idea what to do from there? (We knew nothing about training horses)Misty is only 2 1/2 years old but has changed drastically since she has been at Resque Ranch. She is happier, healthier and has learned so much in a short amount of time. Not to mention, my 10 year old daughter has more confidence and knowledge about true horsemanship.Michelle and her team have been amazing!! Michelle has a love for not only animals but people as well! She has taken our daughter and her horse under her wings and has shown her everything she knows when it comes to caring for, safety, cleaning and training by natural horsemanship. We have nothing but positive things to say about the facility, workers and their rescue operation with these horses. You wont find a facility anywhere like it! They are the best! Thank you for having such a wonderful non-profit!

Brought the kids to ride their horses. Michelle and John took great care of them. You can tell they treat the horses well and they look happy.

They are a horse rescua along with a handful of other critters. Mainly horses though. They are very informative and helpful when inquiring about a horse. If I ever am able to afford one for a therapy animal i will adopt from here.
