The reason for this rating is Mark N., the H&R Black tax analyst who prepared our return. Mark was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, confidential, efficient, and helpful. With the various questions he asked in search of deductions for which we might qualify, I felt Mark cared as much about our finances as we do. I particularly appreciated how he explained various aspects of our return to us, taking the time to educate us so we could not only understand our 2020 situation but also understand how to legally reduce our tax exposure in the future. Marks combination of tax expertise and customer service ensured I will return in the future so he can serve my family and me again.

I have been using H&R Block at tax season for years and I trust them! With all the tax code changes each year they are schooled and receive additional training each year in an effort to save you as much many as they can. Sure, you can have your family do your taxes but what will you do if the IRS contacts you. These good people will talk to them and explain exactly how your taxes were done if you wish. I just wouldnt trust anyone else! As Always, Enjoy!

They are either not knowledgeable about tax laws or chose not to disclose things if it means they loose money.

The tax prep we have is amazing at what she does

We called for a quote for preparing our taxes and when we went to pick up our forms our fee was double what was quoted. When I tried asking why the much higher fee for preparing our taxes than what was quoted we weren’t given a clear answer. All the while we are standing in front of their banner that says “transparent pricing.” Not transparent for us. Never again will I use H & R Block.

I have been dealing with H&R Block for over 10 years and they havent given me a reason to stop using them. However, it seems like the prices increases every year. Eventually, that will have some type of change in my decision to use them in the near future.
