Always been impressed with this place!!! Steven has made me feel so welcome and is always making sure my nails leave looking fabulous and heathy. This previous time I told him I’m doing a photo shoot on Saturday with my puppy so I wanted some cute fall nails and he took control and I left feeling so refreshed. Not only did I not have acrylics on (after years of trying to get my nails healthy) but my nails feel SO good and strong. I’m so impressed with his talent and everyone there is so kind and accommodating. I definitely will not be going anywhere else and I highly recommend Steven if you do decide to give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed :)

Really disappointed considering how good the other reviews are. I went with my friend to go get a full set, she started getting her nails done about 15 minutes before me and I still finished before her. the guy that did my nails was really aggressive and didn’t even give me a chance to ask for what I wanted. none of my nails are shaped the same and are all different lengths.

Ever had a dip manicure shine like the sun and last nearly a month and a half looking brand new? Go see Mr. Lee at Magic Nails. Other techs consistently provide wonderful quality as well. Tom & Mimi are friendly and professional. I cant say enough good things about this place.

So very disappointed. I have been going here regularly (every 3-4 weeks) for dip powder manicures and pedicures since they opened. I have had my nails done by probably every nail tech in there and all of a sudden they are just a money making machine instead of actually caring for their customers and giving them good service. My nails are absolutely destroyed from the last several times of dip manicures because they are brutal with the electric file. Last time I went, I tried to explain that I wanted the same thing I always get but without the electric file—which I know is an option almost everywhere— and they insisted that they wouldn’t be able to do the manicure without using it. I knew my nails were paper thin and it was painful, but I allowed them to do it because I needed my nails done for a photo shoot. Now I have 5 broken nails that are bleeding, thin, and ruined and I’m pretty sure my boyfriend is proposing soon. What an absolute disaster. I won’t be coming back even though it’s the most convenient and I have been a day 1 customer because they no longer care about nail health and taking care of the natural nail. They want the manicures to look good enough for you to pay and get right back out the door.

Every time I have went always left with exactly what I wanted and never had a problem with anything. Very caring and amazing customer service. Finally found a place I’m pleased with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is HANDS DOWN the best. I bring my 7 & 8 year old daughters with me and they did SO good with them. My girls asked a billion questions and they were SO nice about it. And joked around with them the whole time.

I have been going to this salon for about a year now. Q is by far the best nail tech I have ever used. I have been going to her for over 5 years and would absolutely follow her to any salon she chooses to work at. Even though I only allow Q to do my nails I have had others complete my pedicures. Everyone is always very friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend them. If you have a negative experience with a technician, next time ask for Q she is amazing!

I am a newcomer here, about 2 days ago I went to this nail salon once to do a Fullset. The service here is very good, everyone is friendly and sociable. Clean and tidy place. Boss here welcomed me very enthusiastically. This nail salon is so crowded every day that I have to wait a long time. This shop does a great job. The product is very beautiful. I will recommend more people to come here.

This salon is so clean and well kept! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The service menu for pedicures really gives you a reasonable option for everyone.Lucy did a great job on my pedicure! She did not rush even though the salon was busy. I really appreciated her taking her time and the amazing job she did!

Amazing! It was my first time here and everyone was so sweet!! They are very clean and COVID-19 prevention savvy. Kelly took her tiiiime on my nails honey! She sculpted them from almond to coffin shape and matched the exact color that I wanted! She paid very close attention to details and didnt stop until it was perfect. 10/10 I will be back!!!

I got a full set done by Kim and she did such an amazing job. They are absolutely beautiful and even! My mother in law got a pedicure done I’m not sure by who but she loved it! They are super clean too! I definitely recommend this place!

Not professional, waste of time, nail techs rushing you in and out, doesnt even massage or clean my cuticles. Dont contact me! Advise you to go somewhere else! Miracle if you run into a nail tech there that will actually take their time. I dont think this place knows how to relax you. This place should be call Nail Rush.

I came in for a light pink and white tip refill for my acrylic nails. The white is way too narrow, as in it doesn’t cover the white part of my natural nail under it. The light pink on my right hand is too thick. The white should only need to be redone every other visit, but will have to be redone in 2 weeks. Very disappointed after spending $45 on a refill.

I called for a last minute appointment to get a full set and they were able to accommodate me quickly and professionally. When I arrived, they promptly said hello and had my temp taken and then lead me to the station I would be at. My nail tech was so sweet and worked quickly but she did exactly what I asked for. The location itself is a gorgeous layout and very clean. Thanks Kim for giving me a much needed spa day :)EDIT: I went for a fill on my set that I had for two weeks and a pedicure. The pedicure given to me by Ellen was PERFECT! It was a good time with great conversation. When it came to getting my fill, I was less than happy. She didn’t use any primer and she left my nails looking lumpy a weak. My nails fell apart within days of getting the fill with one nail already completely off. There wasn’t any conversation either between Q and myself. I love the salon and will be back, but I won’t be going back to that nail tech.

Wow! Ask for Tony for Dip Nails!! Such a wonderful job and attention to detail. Best manicure I’ve received in a while. Easy to schedule through their Facebook page and everyone is so nice. Will be coming back again and again!

Steven is back! I used to go to magic nails 2 years ago until Steven left but I decided to try them out again and he is back. Yay! He takes his time and can do any design you have in mind and they will look absolutely amazing!! So happy with my experience.

All these other 5 stars and complimenting the nail techs must be fake, waste of time. Do not come here, if they did a good job on you, must be because the of the bad review they are getting. Funny.

Ive enjoyed going to Magic Nails. Its my new go-to since Covid hit when it reopened. I see Anh - love her and shes willing to be creative! Everyone there is professional and helpful. The owner is strict about cleanliness guidelines. I feel comfortable there.

I went to get my pedicure done the other day and came home with a chipping nail polish, two infected toesnails and unremoved callus on my heals. The technician was in rush, barely spent 20 mins with me. The place is a little run down with a poor ventilation.

Really clean place. Staff was nice, asked me to pay through venmo. I got a basic pedicure, and an ombre powder dip set. My pedicure was good, and the nail are ok. The color is a little uneven on some nails, and the nails a uneven across the nail bed. Not a bad job all in all.

WOW! I had a great experience getting the paraffin pedicure and brow wax! It was very cleanly and professional with a friendly staff and reasonable prices. My brows and toes look stunning and we left feeling elevated and satisfied. Definitely recommend!!!

Had an amazing experience here with my sister. Never had a more beautiful set done. I got an ombré dip French full set and it was done so perfectly.Would come back here again and again.

I usually have decent service here and have been over a dozen times. Last time I went, last Friday, I got a dip manicure which was new for me. No one offered a drink like is usually custom here. The lady who did my manicure did not trim any skin or clean my hands or push my cuticles back. All she did was the dip powder and it turned out horrible. When I mentioned the skin trimming and cuticles she acted like she had no clue what I was talking about. She didnt give a massage or even offer one. Did not offer paraffin or any other manicure options. Only put a tiny dot of lotion on each hand after. She did a very poor job on the dip powder and did not deserve a tip - although I still left one. What a horrible experience for an expensive manicure. How frustrating, will not go again!

Love this place. I have getting my nails done for over 15 years and this is by far the best place I have been to. Yes they are busy, but if you make an appointment it wont be a problem. Huge shout out to Kim and Tony for their awesome work.

Came here twice. The 1st time was on my birthday for a pedi and mani. The pedi was great but my full set off nails was horrible. The lady doing them put thumb sized nails on all of my nails. I asked why she wasn’t sizing them (I have skinny nails) she said she would file them to fit. They came out looking super wide and awkward. After I left I called and let them know my nails were awful and asked if I could have them redone by someone different. The new lady filled them and repainted. They still looking horrible but it was by birthday and I didn’t want to sit in the nail salon all day. 2 weeks later my friend invited me to get our nails filled at the same place so I decided to try one more time. The same lady ended up doing my nails and well again they looked so bad I had to peel them all off. I won’t be coming here ever again. So upset i spent over 120 on a fill and pedi only for me to have to take them off the next day. Don’t waste your money here unless you find a nail Tech that knows what they are doing.

Kelly did my nails for my wedding. She took her time and they are gorgeous. I will be using them again and sharing with all my friends and family.

My daughter asked to get her nails done for her birthday. I scheduled her an appointment and asked about prices. They told me $45 for acrylic with gel or shellac color. Three of my kids went in while I ran errands. When my daughter handed me the receipt there was an addition fee of $15 and when asked what it was for my kids did not have an answer. I called and one of the nail techs asked for me to text her a picture of the reciept because she did not know why there was an additional fee. My kids had poor service, rude nail techs and did not have the option to dictate tip. Heard back from the nail tech and was told that there was a charge for nail shape (okay, Ill give that a pass) but then a $5 charge because my daughter has long nails.. wow! We will not be visiting again and will not venture from our local nail salon in Lafayette. Lesson learned.

Went in for a full set after seeing photos on the review page. My nail tech initially did not know how to do what I was asking even though I brought a photo directly from their Facebook page. The nails turned out well off the bat, very pretty. Being a cosmetologist myself I expect good quality for the price I paid. It has only been a week and I’ve had 3 of them break, one of which happened the day after I got them. I called and told them I had glued the tip back on and they had me come in to fix it for free. I assumed they would have removed the broken nail fully and put on a fresh nail, but they just put acrylic over top of the broken one. Even after the extra layer that nail is still too thin. Will not be returning or referring anyone to this salon.

This is the best nail salon. Very, very clean. Tons of services. Waxing rooms are very nice. The staff is great. They have a great reward program for free services. They accept appointments but walk ins are welcome and you never wait for long. I have been a customer since they opened.

I have two missing nails that give me some insecurity; particularly when visiting nail salons as it can be embarrassing to address and also difficult to get the acrylic nails to stay glued.Mimi understood my concern and not only did a phenomenal job on my nails, (they look magazine worthy) she also took great caution with my damaged/missing nails- asking many times if the electric file was hurting me at all (it wasn’t).I have been many places previously that have actually damaged my nails even more because they did not take the time and care that Mimi took with me. I cannot say enough good things about this place or their service. Will be back soon for a fill!-Taylor

Love this beautiful salon! This is the second time going to this salon and the experience was amazing just like the first time. I walked in- got attended to immediately even when it was so busy. I got a classic pedicure and a shellac manicure. The nail tech I had was Nicholas- he helped me pick my color and gave a fantastic message all in a timely manner. I will be making an appointment with this salon in two weeks!!

I love Sunny! Shes super sweet and funny and great to talk to. They arent pushy, are happy to answer questions about different services, and are really friendly. The salon is bright, clean, and just the right amount of fancy. Pro Tip: they offer complementary software drinks.

This nail salon is very clean and tidy. Most of the time, they do a great job. However, its basically a hit and miss with them. I reccomend going a few times, seeing which artist does it best, and then setting up an appointment vs walking in, just so you know what youre getting.

I absolutely hate this place. They over price every service and dont have the best service. If you do go here, do not get the lady who works the front desk or walks around with her clipboard. She put way too much super glue on my nails and barely even prepped my nails for the acrylic powder. She spent 25 minutes to do my nails because she needed to rush and get through customers. She also argued a bit with me and didnt listen to me. Also she never says sorry if she cuts your skin. I have never experienced a nail salon who doesnt take their time and doesnt value their customers. You can find better nail salons that dont overprice and takes their time.

I love coming here the staff are great and they do exactly what I want! I prefer to have short nails and this is one of the few salons Ive been to where they did that right away. Prices are fantastic. I would even recommend for waxing I got my eyebrows waxed here for the first time a couple days ago and they did awesome. Very clean!

This place is one of the nicest nail salons i have ever been to . Staff are great friendly and overly kind and will help you to get the exact look you want . And for all of this its very decently priced so you are not spending alot of money overall would highly recommend.

I’ve been here many times and it’s pretty hit and miss for if i’ll like the way my nails turn out, but after the last visit i don’t think i’ll be back any time soon. the woman working on my nails was not very concerned with how they turned out and they are now lumpy, the incorrect shape and inconsistent shapes, there are glitter bumps throughout even under a top coat, and poor quality overall. generally i enjoy their staff and clean interior, but this visit overpowers those aspects as i just spent a considerable amount of money on acrylics that were poorly done.

WARNING!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!! I took my daughter there to get her nails done for her school dance. When we walked in we were immediately approached on what we needed and were pushed for other services. I requested the best nail tech and after being guided to two different people we finally sat down with a guy who claimed he has done nails for 30 years. The outcome was that of someone who is just learning. We requested coffin shape and did not get coffin shape. Her nails look horrible!!! Not to mention the price. All she wanted was glitter nail polish on her tips but they were adamant on shellac because they convinced us it looked better. We walked out of there with 2 of her fingers sliced from over filing and a $60bill. A regular set is $35, plus $10 for shellac, plus $5 for coffin shape, + 10 for what they claimed was ombre polish. They are trying to be a fancy salon because of their decorations but don’t be fooled!!! You can get an even better set at any other salon. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND THE EXTRA COST!!

I’m really disappointed after an awful experience today. They employees all have major attitudes and everyone seemed put off by having to do work. I had an appointment yet they made me wait 20 minutes past my appointment time for one specific employee to be done with his previous client despite there being at least 5 employees sitting around not doing anything. I eventually just got up and left. There are way too many nail salons around to put up with that. I do not recommend this nail salon and will not patronize this business again. You lost a good customer.

They just lost a very loyal customer today. Ive been going here for several years but today the guy who was doing my nails cut one at a very weird angel (see photo). He also paid no attention that I just had thumb surgery when I asked him to be gentle. He claimed he had to cut my nail this way. In all my years of getting my nails done, Ive never seen someone cut it this way. He used his own nail under it several times until the nail broke then he used cuticle cutters to cut it the rest of the way. He also didnt soak off the dip, just used his dremmel to take the old dip off. Really a shame, all he had to do was apologize. Guess the customer isnt right at this place.

I have been there 3 times, thinking oh this time will be better. Cuz I desperately needed to get my nails done and my regular person I see at another place was booked.They do a good job but it doesnt last or stay. For a shellac or dipping.Its rather pricy. But they do have a variety of services and nail colors to choose from.

Really really needs all new polish and gels and top coats and base coats. I work in the industry and the thinning with acetone is getting a little ridiculous when its straight liquid and then the others are crazy thick and at the bottom of the bottle

I was asked to take my previous review down after getting a refund for the service I received, but I decided it was important to share my experience. I went in to get my acrylic nails removed and the lady did this by peeling them off without soaking them 1st or anything. My pinky nail was half ripped off. When when I asked if this was hurting my nails, (because I didnt have much experience with the process of taking off acrylic nails) I was told that it was fine. I got a refund in the end and they apologized. I hope that this experience with me will make them change their habits.

Decided to try the nail dip here and was very dissapointed. First the gal doing my nails filed the sides so much they hurt and I kept telling her and she just thought I was sensitive. Secondly the dip she did was so thick my nails feel like they have acrilic on them. Third, I asked for a dip and manicure and she only dipped and never did a manicure. Lastly 10 days in because they are so thick they are lifting completely off the nail like fake nails do. Don’t waste your money or time going here.

I started going here because of connivence and past experience. they are very friendly and offer different services. i really like the atmosphere and go to the same person who does a great job on my nails. i would recommend them. as for price, you get what you pay for. if you dont care for someone then ask for someone else. plus they offer a rewards program which i have got free services twice now.

This was my first time at this location. I was told I would wait for 3 mins just give them a minute. It was a Saturday morning and pretty busy. I didn’t see any available techs. After about 10 mins I was seated at a table with no one sitting there. Another several minutes later, some guy walked up to me and didn’t say anything.It was clear he was going to be doing my nails. I was absolutely disgusted and disappointed. This gentleman clearly just smoked a cigarette and his hands and nails where super dirty. While working on my nails I was getting more upset. He rubbed lotion all over my arms (which REEK of cigarettes and dirt) and then asked me if I wanted a pedicure. Absolutely not.Very first thing I did was walk to their bathroom a washed my arms, which didn’t do anything. I was disgusted I asked my boyfriend to drive me home to rinse off because the smell of cigarettes on my arms was making us both sick.I’m sure there are good techs here, but this was the first and last time I’ll go there. The lady at the front was nice but they are all about making money. I felt like cattle, just get them done and get them out.

I went with a guy this time and should have stuck with Kelly. The guy kept filing in my cuticles and messed up on the shape. I had Kelly last time and she did an excellent job. I will be going back to Magic Nail just not back to him.
