They did an amazing job wrapping the roof black, adding a custom windshield text & tinting my front windshield on my 2016 Mustang GT. The appointment was originally just to wrap my roof & add the custom windshield text & once they had the job done I called & asked them if they were able to do my windshield tint & Joe squeezed me in that same day & got it done just in time! Had tint and protection film done on my WRX and everything turned out great. They even have you back a few weeks later to touch up their own work and remove any bubbles after the film sets. Everything looks great. Im no expert on this stuff, but I can tell the job was done well. Its not cheap, but I think itll be worth it. Especially with the 10-year Suntek warranty.

Now if you’re anything like me, you do your research and troll through the reviews before making purchases - so below you’ll find my detailed experience. If you don’t feel like reading, then you can simply take my word for it.How we discovered the product. My parents were looking for a new car last year (as was I). My mother called and told me about a red used car she had spotted on the lot, but the front end paint looked showroom new while the rest of the car looked, well, used. She asked the salesman about it. He explained the front end had been wrapped in paint protection film. That’s how we learned about paint protection film and Sharper Image. Paint protection film, based on my research, is a clear polycarbonate film (think screen protector) that was first applied to helicopter blades and rotors in the 70s. According to my research, it isn’t supposed to help with sun/UV protection, but tell that to the red car. Once I decided on my new car, I made an appointment.Products & experience. I got with Mike at Sharper Image to discuss the options. At the time I was kicking the idea around of a simple wrap that would offer protection but would also change the color of my car (my car only comes in 5 colors, so i wanted to be different). The color wrap, unfortunately, does not last as long as the clear - 8 years vs 10. It was going to be a big expenditure for me, so I opted for the clear. He told me it would take 7 days to wrap my entire car (yes, I wanted the whole car done). I couldn’t part with my car that long, so we had it done in sections that I scheduled around work and being in town. Since I had the entire car done, he gave me a monster discount on window tinting... why not? So we did that, too, and it looked fabulous! I couldn’t have been more pleased!The moment of truth(s). My profession has me on the road. I eat highways for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As such, one could imagine the high-velocity projectiles that assault my car repeatedly. Some have hit my car, and I’ve literally winced in pain. Then I inspect the film and magically there’s nothing there. But then there was a terrible wind storm last year. Something hit my driver’s side door that looked like perhaps it went through the film. I texted Mike with a picture. He sent me a patch to protect the area until I could get into town again. When I got there I had touch up paint in hand, completely convinced that this very unsightly area had to have underlying paint damage. There was nothing underneath! No damage whatsoever! The film did its job. I really wish I could post the before and after pictures on here!Service. The damaged film was removed and new film applied to the door the same day. Mike gave me a great loyalty discount and even washed the car for me. Mike has been wonderful to work with. He’s busy, so you do need to schedule a few weeks out to get into him, but it’s worth it and you just can’t beat the service you get, even after the film is placed. Your car is like part of his family. The next new car we get will go to him, no questions asked.Moral of the (long) story. If you’ve bought your vehicle as an investment - either you plan to keep it for years, it’s your dream car and you want it to stay forever young, it’s part of your business fleet, or a classic you’ve restored and you simply want the bugs to wipe off when you get to the car show - you can’t go wrong with this product and installer. With a good undercoating along with the film, I have every expectation the body will last as long as the engine and transmission - which is saying a lot in these winters with all the road salt. Five stars as far as I’m concerned!

I was looking for a place to get windows tinted and possibly put stripes on my car and was very impressed by the portfolio of projects that Sharper Images had already completed. They put tint on both of my daily drivers and it looks fantastic. In addition, I did have them put custom stripes on my Dodge Viper. The result was so awesome that I went back to have them remove all my logos and replace them with the matching vinyl. They have a wonderful team and will go out of their way to make sure that you are completely happy with the finished results.

Love these guys! Nicest family on Earth. I dont drive the nicest car, but they are the only ones that I trust touching it! They also treat every car as if it were a Bugatti. They are very busy (for good reason), but they always find time to answer my emails, calls, etc. I will continue going there as long as they are around.

I ordered materials through them for an exterior sign to be made. By noon the following day, they had already received the materials and made the 60”x64” sign for me. The finished product was unbelievable. They suggested to use a reflective tape for visibility at night time and they nailed it. An amazing product produced by an amazing local business! Will certainly do business with them again.

I am so glad that I got my windows tinted by Sharper Images- the service was excellent- they fit me in even when I had a small time frame that I was available while I was in Erie, Pa. And I absolutely love the end product. I do a lot of highway traveling so they extended & darkened my visor strip on the windshield - this makes a HUGE difference in the sun being in my eyes. I also had my front windows tinted to match my back windows- again- the outcome was beautiful:)

I’ve been to Sharper Images for two jobs now, window tinting & headlight/tailight tinting, and the crew there are awesome. They are the most friendly and knowledgeable people when it comes to vinyls and laws regarding tints I have ever come across.
