Munro made getting my brakes serviced fast and easy. I made an appointment on line after hours, dropped off the vehicle the next morning and it finished before noon! Great service, people and fair prices too.

I had a very good experience at this location. I took my car in for an oil change and they notified me that my brake pads were very thin and suggested I get them replaced ASAP. I opted to have them do the work since it was a Friday evening and I wasnt comfortable driving it any longer without the problem fixed. The two gentlemen were very nice and courteous. They gave me a discount on my bill and my brakes have a lifetime warranty and roters had 1 year warranty. They had it all done within an hour. Very pleased with the service.

They messed up my inspection last year by giving only 10 months forward sticker. Had to call the state to get this corrected. Extremely rude staff, but manager Russell was courteous when the state intervened.Returned this year for state inspection but they wanted me to replace parts which were not bad to fail inspection (took opinion with another mechanic) and also included services (alignment) which are not required to pass the state inspection.Also, they told me that they will charge again for an inspection even though most places would allow you to come back within 30 days for reinspection if it fails the first time and charge only for sticker.Gave 2 stars only because their service is fast, overall a lot to be desired. Not calling them scam but there is a lot to be desired.

Im not sure if WIlliam is the manager or what but he was able to get me in to get some exhaust welding done so fast after my phone call in. Bunch of great guys out here. Will definitely come back for future work needed!

I’m glad I stopped here. I had work done to my performance car. I had them replace my front front struts and springs, rear shocks and some issues came up but that happens with just about any big job. It’s the way that they go about it that matters to me. I’m very impressed. Took responsibility and owned it and everything worked out. That’s huge with me. Ryan is a great manager. Very personable. He knows his stuff. He goes above and beyond to ensure you’re happy and taken care of with the work and service. This is the only place I’ll go from now on when it comes to non dealership items. Everyone should take there car here. These guys you can trust.

I came in the shop with a minor issue and the guys in the shop were pleasant and helpful!...They got me in/out very quickly!...As I was there I noticed other customer issues, the guys dont try to nickel and dime and you or over charge you! They tell you exactly what the problem is!!!!...Thank you guys!!!

Literally just left the store crying and will never return. I went in to buy windshield wipers for my husband’s car. I asked for help because I’ve never bought them and no idea what to look for.... also asked if they will put them on. The employee (an older male) was extremely rude. He asked what kind of car, I told him.. he asked the year and I told him I didn’t know. He literally laughed and was shaking his head in a frustrated way. He said he wouldn’t help me if I couldn’t figure it out. I will be be returning ever. Unacceptable customer service.

Great deals on oil changes, always great service

We were traveling from Pittsburgh to Albany, NY on Friday 8/7/20. We were on I-79 near Meadville and the low pressure sensor indicated that I had a low tire. We stopped at a gas station and pumped it up and continued on our way. A few miles later I could see we were slowly loosing air pressure. We looked for tire shops in Erie, PA (which would be on our way). We called Monro on Peach St and explained our dilemma. We were told that they should be able to get us taken care of by Saturday, the next day! I was shocked to say the least. We stopped at Flynn Tire on Peach St and they took care of us right away and we were able to get on the road again quickly. Obviously customer service was not a priority at Monro.

They have always been so fast now under new management the newer guy was a bit rude but hell get better as I will still go to monro

DONT GO HERE! THEY LEAVE CARS UNSAFE . Stole $250 from us! Our car was inspected with the brake lights not working. Upon second visit we were told brake lights were working.. we had to pay cash for this service. They were not working and now Monroe says that employee stole the money. He was fired and that’s all they can do! DONT go here. Even the new manager said he wouldn’t doubt that this happened to us yet no one helped us. We have gotten an attorney to dispute this in court

I came in for a safety and emissions test for a used car I had just purchased. The guy at the counter told me I failed the safety test because I had 2 break light bulbs out and my rear tires were below the 2/32in minimum tread spec. He quoted me $907 to replace all 4 tires, replace the 2 bulbs, and the cost for both inspections.First off, he was already holding both bulbs in his hand explaining to me why they went out. Very poor practice. They should have kept them in the vehicle and showed me that they dont work before pulling them out. I dont know if they truly were out, or if they could have been damaged by one of the shop techs. Regardless, he knew that I would have to pay to have them replaced to pass the test. I came in for inspection tests not to have parts stripped off my car.Regarding the tires, he said (and my test report states) I failed because of my rear tire treads falling below the 2/32 in minimum. When I got home I performed the penny test on all 4 treads for all 4 tires. I even measured each penny to double check Lincolns head was at the spec. Sure enough, every tread met the specifications. There was one tread that measured roughly 3/32 in but the rest were at least 4/32 or more. Regardless, the spec says that TWO adjacent treads have to be smaller than the minimum. In my case, one was close (but still larger) and they failed me.Long story short, I told the guy behind the counter today was my last day to do the tests and I regret that. He knew took that as an opportunity to try and turn my $30 inspection to a $900 pay day.EDIT #1: This is for the Monro at 4902 Peach St in Erie

This isn’t the first time we have used this Munro location at 4902 Peach Street. And it won’t be the last. I scheduled an oil change online, and they got me in as soon as they could while I waited. They were courteous, prompt, and thorough. I was able to use a coupon I found on their website, and that was just a bonus. Thanks to Russ and the guys for prompt service! I’ll be back!

We broke down on I-79 in the afternoon on our way home to Toronto. On a busy day for Monro staff, they took us in and looked at our vehicle. We needed a fuel pump replaced. They fixed it by the afternoon of the next day. The staff was fantastic. The Owner Russ was so accommadating. They went above and beyond including shuttling us around. Thank you for your help.

All employees I came into contact with were extremely professional and the explained to me what I would need for my car to pass inspection. This is the place to go in Erie if you are looking for quality work, professionalism, and a good price! This morning I started my 2007 CRV and heard an awful grinding sound. I drove to work but at lunch time it happened again and seemed to be getting worse. I had arranged an appointment at 1:30pm but ended up driving to the shop around 12:30 because I was so worried. Immediately upon pulling into the driveway, Andy (mechanic) walked over to me and commented on the sound. He ran inside to grab a stethoscope to identify where the sound was coming from and within about 10 minutes had successfully diagnosed the issue. Turned out that my AC compressor had seized up and was shooting sparks and metal all over the place. The AC has been broken for 2 years and I dont mind. So instead of trying to replace the entire system to the order to over a 1000$, Andy was able to bypass the AC compressor by using a smaller belt. Wayne (manager) provided me with quotes for all the work and was very pleasant to work with. Job turned out to be less than 200$ and I drove away in about 1.5 hours. I am so impressed and truly recommend this place to everybody. Keep up the awesome work and today you secured a life-long customer. Thanks again!

Top notch service and work. I tend to hate taking my vehicles anywhere to have them worked on and usually do the work myself. We had to get 4 new tires, a possible wheel alignment, and an inspection. My wife had priced a cheaper set of tires for her vehicle and the technician told me straight up that he would not recommend these tires even though they were a good tire. No pressure at all to buy a higher priced tire. Truthful and straight forward. Price came in under what we had priced elsewhere. Could have easily charged me for an alignment but said the alignment was fine after they checked it. Did the inspection and vehicle passed with no problems and no extra work by them. I would highly recommend them for any work you have. Up front and no BS. Have been taking my vehicles here for a couple of years for inspections even though there are two other Monros closer to my home. Thank you.

I took my car in for a state inspection, and ended up needing work done on it before it could pass. Les and the guys went above and beyond what any other car shop would do! My muffler needed replaced and, while they were taking the old one off, part of the exhaust system fell on top of them! It was rusted and needed fixed as well. They had to make a new piece to fit on the end before reattaching it to the car. This took a good deal of time and work on their part-- and they didnt charge me for it! I was shocked that a car shop would be so generous! The whole time I waited, Les would come out and let me know what they were fixing and why it was taking as long as it was. He was very pleasant to talk to, unlike some other guys at different car shops. And the rest of the guys there are hard working and knowledgeable-- the kind of thing one would expect in the mechanics working on your vehicle. The prices are also very reasonable! All in all, I highly recommend Monro Muffler Brake on Peach!

I have been going to this place since I moved here 3.5yrs ago, when Les used to run the place. Wayne and the other gentlemen there were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They helped me with my car on multiple occasions, from my state inspection and changing out my tires, to replacing the head gasket. I am always at ease when I leave my car with them. Even if they cannot fix something outright, which is not a lot of things, they can direct me to the right place.

Ive been coming to this Monro location for a few years for oil changes on multiple cars. The staff is friendly, quick and honor the customer reservations. The working manager patched my tire within minutes of arrival. Absolutely phenomenal service!

I have been following Les around since he was working at Firestone because he always does great by his customers. Unfortunately he is no longer working as the manager for Monroe but his replacement Matt has been awesome in his place. He took the time out of his busy schedule to call me back to explain I needed two new tires instead of wasting money on another alignment. Ive been going to this shop for a few years now. They go above and beyond what is expected. I came in with a blown headlight asking if they could schedule me in sometime today. They were busy but fit me in between appointments and got me out of there within 10 minutes. They put their customers first, and I highly recommend their services.

Monroe was wonderful. Brought my car in today with a screw in the tire and they got me in right away only waited ten minutes. The staff was nice and professional wish I got his name who was at the cash register. Monroe has never failed me. Will be going there again

Favorite place to get an oil change in this town. Nice air-conditioning inside. Didnt take too long. No upsells. Straight to the point. Gave recommendations, reasons, estimated dates on when I should get certain things done to my car and what would happen if I decided not to go with the recommendations. This place is under new management by Wayne and its off to a good start (not that is was under bad management in the first place). Make sure to make an appointment or they may be too busy to take you in that day.

I have used Monro Auto Service several times since moving to Erie and they have been consistently helpful. The employees are informative and friendly and their services are efficient. I highly recommend and will be back!

The guys here are great. They do a great job fixing or maintaining your car and are very helpful. I was told by my dealership that I needed my breaks and rotors changed. I brought it to Munro since they are cheaper. They took a look and told me that I didnt need to change my breaks and rotors for another 6-9 months and that my dealership was trying to cheat me. I love that they didnt just change the brakes but were honest with me and tried to save me the money.

This Monro location has done nothing but impress me. I thought the brakes and rotors were worn down, unlike other shops they pulled me into the shop to prove to me they were perfectly fine. I also never have a long wait when coming to the peach street location. The guy who works the front desk is an awesome guy! Just met the owner Chris as well and hes a amazing guy as well, I even got a free bag of chips! I highly recommend them for service.

I was in Erie, PA for a shopping trip with my grandaughter today. My car started sputtering and I barely made it into the parking lot at Monros on Peach street. It was end of day and they managed to make time to look at my car. Rather than replacing an expensive part they cleaned out a sensor and solved my problem in record time and at a fraction of what this would have cost me elsewhere. I brought my vehicle in on a Thursday with a whopping $1400 estimate to replace my rear back assembly’s and replace a differential seal and an inspection..I was told it would be done by Friday evening.. then Saturday.. then Sunday(“maybe if he gets around to it”-per the mechanic).. then Monday (he calls off). I finally got back my truck after closing hours Tuesday when I harassed the service desk because I was leaving for California that night.. I walked into a $1750 bill with no inspection like we had agreed.. (they “couldn’t get around to it” ..I refused to pay and somehow they magically were able to make 200 dollars disappear.. it’s clear they were overcharging.. very unprofessional and Untrustworthy!!!

I got a new used car previous to taking a ten hour road trip and wouldnt you know that my car started acting up. About six hours in I was forced to get off the highway and ended up at Monro Muffler on peach street; this place and these people were amazing! Even though it was kind of late on a Saturday (close to closing) Joe (assistant manager) had no problem telling me that they would take care of my car. Even though they seemed busy, they didnt make me wait 3+ hours for the diagnostic testing. They even got me a water for my service animal! The staff are professional and helpful. NOT A SCAM LIKE MANY PLACES. They treat you like family and I was so lucky to have stumbled upon their great service. Six stars if possible.

Less is the BEST manager of any store I have ever been in. He is honest, fair and VERY knowledgeable. He told me upfront about parts that didnt need to be replaced when I had my car in for inspection at a place closer to where I live. I dont mind one bit the 45 minute drive to have his team work on my car!

Great customer service. The main guy there (Less) is a great guy and doesnt bullshit you. I had all my brakes and rotors done there and I thought I heard a grinding noise from my new brakes, so I called Less and he took me right in and made sure that everything was working correctly. Even took me in the garage to show me everything and how it worked. The grinding ended up being a different problem, but as far as the job they did it was great!

Went in a while ago because their sign out was for an oil change deal... After my car was up and started.... I was told that my car needs only the full synthetic and it costs way more than my normal place. By the time I was told, they had already started.

Generally as a shop they are really good here; Les is an amazing manager and we always go only when he is there. The other guy that is there when Les is not, Carl, is just going to make you mad. We made appointments with Les, and then on the day of the appointment, Carl wouldnt be able to find it. He doesnt try to live up to basic customer service standards and acts like youre bothering him when you call, and doesnt even try to help you out.

Let me tell you guys about Jake, the most amazing person Ive met so far in Erie. He went above and beyond to help me out when I had a minor accident with my car, busted the tire and oil pan. He was right there as soon as he heard the loud noise, came out and calmed me down, told me everything was going to be ok. He said we were going to figure it out. He called the toll driver to get my car tolled into the shop. Waited with me even past business hours to make sure my ride came to pick me up. A saint on this tragic day.

I was very pleased from the second I called this place to make my appointment as apposed to other places where you could tell it was a Monday in there voice. The staff at Monroe were very friendly and made it easy to set up an appointment around my work schedual.Not knowing what other issues or expenses my Escape was going to throw my way, it was more affordable and relieving than I anticipated everything to be. Even though it was a hassle and took twice the time to reinstall the front light assembly, Im very appreciative of the hard work and PATIENCE Manager Wayne had the whole time for it. Last time using a monro, brought my car in a few weeks ago to have state inspection renewed, along with emissions. Passed emissions and not inspection due to a few exhaust leaks and some shot tires. Come back this week to finish inspection with new tires and brand new exhaust and Im now greeted with $700+ of repair work the tech didnt record the first time around. Out 60 bucks due to a lazy tech. Avoid like the plague.

I have always had excellent service with very reasonable prices and both Les and Wayne have taken the time to explain to me what needs to be checked or serviced on my car and what my options are. Made an appointment at the monroe on upper peach and when I showed up they said I never made one and to go to the other monroe. Im positive I called the one on upper peach because I have them as a contact in my phone and have used them for a couple years now . I went to the this Monroe and they luckily helped me out and were super nice and quick. I really appreciate everything and Ill definitely be calling you guys from now on.

Unprofessional, lack of transparency and disrespectful staffI’m new to the state of Pennsylvania, was forced to moved for work. Coming from the state of Indiana, I had asked the front desk rep a bunch of questions of this yearly mandated state inspection which were apparently much different than Indiana’s emission test (which is free, every other year and takes only 15 min... with a lot friendlier staff).I started by showing up per my scheduled appt. on time, front desk rep said “it’ll be a few min we’ll get you all situated, state inspections take an hour and a half to two hours”... ok not a problem. 15 min go by I asked the front desk rep what’s the hold up, “oh the guys aren’t back yet from test driving a vehicle.” Alright. Things get behind. I understand. In that time span, another customer having some sort of tag reading for AAA which literally only took the mechanic 10 seconds to step out, open the door, read it and walk back in, was charged $10 to the customers surprise, he asks in a slightly upset tone “$10 to read a tag? Really?” I guess other places don’t charge for it not too sure, the mechanic states “yes it’s my charge.” The customer subsequently pays the $10, as he walks out of the shop, the mechanic says “what a fu@$ing douche that guy is” right in front of me. Now I cuss at my job with peers every now and then but definitely not in front of clients, customers or folks not associated with my employment, that’s completely unprofessional.So now 35 min go by, I see the mechanics drive in another vehicle on the lift. I ask the front desk rep, what’s that vehicle getting done? “Oh a state inspection.” I said okay hold on now, it takes 2 hours for state inspections, so that car needs to get done then it’ll take my car 2 hours? So that’s 4 hours sir.” “Are there any other mechanics or are those the only 2?” Front desk rep states those are the only 2. So I ask which will it be 2 or 4 hours, because I’ll take it to another shop, the front desk rep apparently gets flustered and states hold up sir. So him and the lead mechanic or boss not too sure asks what’s the problem? I state again, I just want to know what the time frame will be for my state inspection? The mechanic says 2 1/2 hours give or take, I said ok but you just pulled that vehicle that’s 2 hours right? Yes it is, so it’s 4 hours? The mechanic subsequently grabs my registration, insurance and keys from the wall holder and tosses it on the desks and says “here, go somewhere else!”All I wanted was transparency, if you’re running late and have another vehicle backed up tell me on the front end. Do not waste 40 min of me sitting there, then pull another vehicle and when asked what’s going on with that toss my belongings at me and say go somewhere else. Completely rude and disrespectful for a business establishment to treat a customer.

I highly recommend coming to this monro shop! All of a sudden my car decided that the exhaust pipe was going to just fall off while I was driving. I knew it was getting late and the store was closing soon but I immediately called monro and spoke with their manager Wayne. He told me to bring it up and that they would take a look. Once I got there, he took my car back without hesitation and worked on it quickly. I’ve never been in and out of a garage so fast before! He was incredibly empathetic and kept me informed the whole time, even checked in on me and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I have never been treated so kindly while taking my car to get looked at and quite honestly it’s always been a sense of discomfort for me, but now I’m so relieved I’ve found a place that’s ran properly and efficiently. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go here, or to any Monro Muffler anywhere. They WILL screw you over. They didnt tell me about a problem i had and my engine blew up, then they lied about it and would not cover repairs or anything. Save yourself time, money, and sanity. Go somewhere else.

I go to either this one or the one on upper peach. They are both great places to go. Oil changes are quick and fair priced.

I have been to 5 other Monroes,,,, this one is by far the best,,, they have excellent customer service and are very nice ,, they make sure their customers leave happy and are taken care of ,,, I will defiantly be going here for now on

The one on upper peach the management acts like children in high school and the one mechanic threatened to beat my husbands butt because he broke a piece on the car and we refused to pay for it. and apparently of your a woman they will go above to help you but if you have a penis dont waste your time here. HOWEVER the one on lower peach was great less is a great guy. we told him what happened at the other store he was not pleased.
