I had purchased my vehicle in July 2021 and when I purchased it inspection was owed to me because it was due in September 2021 I scheduled my appointment right away and they scheduled me in September and then I go to pick up my car from my inspection appointment and I’m told I owe money because work that is owed is only valid for 30 days after purchase which was never explained but in “fine print”, even though they made me schedule out past the 30 days. They did honor the free inspection but I had to still pay for parts which I think is completely unfair Because it was owed to me.

Not going to lie I was very hesitant with going to JDByrider at first however once we got to the parking lot no one came out to hound us. Yes my neighbor bought a car from byriders in EriePA And it is a piece of junkHes owned it for 6 monthsFirst that turbo went on it after they got that fixed the transmission went on it after they replace the transmission now the engine is shot for the six months that hes owned it its been three months in the garage up there getting fixedNow he cant drive it at all because the engine is shot so I would not buy anything from these people

Horrible service my car has broken down three times last time it took 21 days to get back had to pay off my own tow and no rental this time they paid for the tow but without a car for weeks again after paying my $400 car payment the manager Karen Harvey was completely unprofessional raising her voice she refused to give me my diagnostic papers until I called her regional manager and in the middle of me talking she walked off the level of professional is a 0, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ANYWHERE ELSE my car has had the same problem that their mechanics are not fixing and sending it back to me they didnt even sign where it says signature of authorized byrider representative certifying repairs were done properly

Good and respectful people in sales, John- he went above and beyond, and service with friendly customer service and reduced rates for oil change.The only challenge I had was that they asked me to bring my car at 8am and leave it. I work all day 5 days and I had noone to give a ride from there and from work. I dont use uber and there are no real taxis. I need to bring it at 7am or 5:10pm and wait at the resturant next door.

Just went there planning on purchasing a car out right. The first car I looked at was a Dodge Avenger, looked like a solid car. Then I popped the hood..... Wires that they tried to hide from view were almost rusted through and when I started it there was a grinding noise like the starter was going. Interior was discolored from stains and the mileage was hire then website stated. Car #2 was an Elantra. First the fob wouldnt work to open the doors, thought battery could be junk not a big deal, easy fix. Tried red starting it, dead battery. In stead of them trying to jump the battery the sales person says ok and does nothing. Then we popped the hood. Rust all over. When I say all over Im not lying. If it was metal under the hood it had rust on it. This place has proven to me that JD byrider is a joke and I dont recommend buying anything from themOne star is too much

Horrible. Back hatch kept leaking. Company never fixed the issue. U end up paying 10 times more than what the vehicle is actually worth. I wouldnt send my worst enemy there!!!!!! If I was able to take stars away, I would without hesitation.

My friend was very Dissatisfied with costs and high car payments, they were estimated $400 every month.👉👉👉 As a result, his car was repossessed due to the fact he no longer was able to afford the remaining car payments left on that car😡😠😡😠.He was not happy at all when his car was towed off from driveway, had no way getting to work.👉👉Please go elsewhere for buying used cars.*** Do your research before buying any used car. 🤗*** Use Kelly blue book for estimated value of used car before purchasing used car at any car dealer place ***

Understand why you are going to this place before you go here. Talk with other dealerships, shop around. This should be your last stop when looking. This is a place that gives people with bad or no payment history a chance to have a reliable vehicle. That being said. You will be over charged for a vehicle. There are NO negotiations here. The price is the price.Service- John sold me my car. I cannot remember the other ladies name. Both Super nice!! They are awesome in customer service for sure! I realize I’m buying a car, of course they are nice. But, I totaled a vehicle I already had with them while I was paying on it. So, this is my second time. Unfortunately. So I go in there every so often to get my oil and car checked. Not once going to this place was I treated with anything other then respect and kindness. Dean that works in repair is awesome. Never once felt like I was being pushed to the side or getting an unfair deal like most mechanics in Erie. Treats me fair every time I have ever gone in there. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this particular dealership. Basically pay you bill, take care of your car and don’t shop for things you will not be able to pay. You will not have a issue.

I spoke to a sales person today, he did not know that i have a 25 year lending background in retail banking. I would not do business with Byrider. People who are less fortunate, will pay way more than what the retail value is on their vehicles. Expect to pay 500 to 600 dollars a month to drive a used car. Trust me when i say, those biweekly payments will be difficult . Read the fine print before you sign anything, understand what you are getting yourself into.

Amazing service, the gentleman who helped my wife and I pick a good car, good payment, and would not let me take a car unless we had enough for our bills and to pay for the car. It was very nice that they are about the customer and not just money.. most other car dealerships would just try to sell you any car no matter whats wrong with it and no real warranty like JD does, 3 year or 36000 miles which ever comes first is the way they sell every car they have.. they are all very polite people who take care of you..

We have gotten two cars from them and am happy with both cars! And we had an issue with our one car and they fixed it even though it took a few times. And you cant beat the 4 year warranty!

We have dealt with the JD Byrider here locally for 10 years, and the biggest reason we have kept going back is the excellent service theyve given us, and how well theyve worked with us on any issue we might have had. We purchased a total of 7 vehicles through them, and each and every one was in good condition, and they gave us good trade-in values on them. My husband passed away recently, and they were not only patient with me while I settled the insurance and such (they could have just repossessed the vehicles and not cared after all) but they were kind and friendly throughout the process.Im willing to pay the higher interest to purchase through them again if Im looking to trade off one of the current pair of vehicles.

Customer service was great. But the day after I got my car the check engine light went on. They gave me a loaner car till they were able to fix mine, about 5 or 10 minutes down the road heading back home, the loaner car decided to give out, I had to park in someones driveway and I was stuck there. Waited for the manger and another employee to come pick me up from side of road and give me another loaner. Sorry far so good with the second loaner.... hopefully Im not speaking too soon.....they should be calling me today about my car so hopefully they do their job and fix my car.

My son went and bought a vehicle on Saturday instead of them fully explaining what he was getting into now he has payments which he cant afford traded in a vehicle that never let him down. Now the power steering pump is not working properly and they say you have to wait until Thursday to have it looked at. Dont buy from here before you have a chance to think first and by all means have a mechanic inspect before purchasing.

Did not purchase a car from this JD Byrider location, however in my contract it states that I receive five dollar oil changes for the lifetime of my vehicle. This location honors my contract with a corporate owned JD Byrider from a different state where I bought my vehicle from. Thats extremely helpful and honest. Much appreciated!

My wife one week ago purchased what we thought would be a great vehicle. Boy were we wrong all sorts of problems with her purchase . First day after purchase ,service lights on both rear tire speed sensors are gone. Then this morning a huge puddle of oil under her car. But we have to wait 2 weeks for an open service date . I will not ever purchase a car again

I would give zero stars if I could. My mother bought a car from here. She ended up having to return the car due to hard times and these people tried to scam her. They gave her a paper to sign saying she had to continue paying the monthly payments even after she turned the car in. My mother was reading this paper thoroughly and the guy got snippy/rude with her BECAUSE she was reading it. He kept trying to pull her attention elsewhere, distract her and then say sign here. Luckily she refused and walked out. Shame on you people for attempting to scam someone whom already has fallen on hard times. Never again.

Prices are outrageous. Salesman was rude and did not have any interest in helping or working with us. Pretty much just walked away and said whatever. I would not recommend this place at all. Anyone who says anything different would be lying to you. A $6000 car will cost you $20000 when your done. You are better off getting an uber, walking, taking a bus, taxi, lyft or calling grandma. This place is the worst place around. Dont waste your time here. The people that works here are a bunch of liers,theyll say anything to you to get you in the door. I called and asked if they had any pick up truck available,they said yes they had a few. When I got there,they didnt have a single pick up truck on the lot,and wanted to know if I was interested in anything else beside a pick up truck. No dipstick,thats why I called ahead of time. Made an appointment. Got tossed around, treated with alot of disrespect. I didnt end up getting a car, but referred my mother after being told about the referral program and never paid out. I wasnt told of the terms and conditions of references but my mom was interested and I was tossed to the side. This was my first experience buying a car from a dealership and I will not return to this one and will tell anyone else not to either.
