Suddenlink promises 1 gig of speed?! Yet here I am, for the past month getting barely 10 mpbs. I cant do any of my work with that speed. I have called them 3 times and cant get the help I need. Taking my business elsewhere.*Update* 2 hours later. Now my speed is LESS than 10 mpbs.

Terminated my service because I moved to another state. I returned the equipment provided. 2 months later I have been sent to collections due to equipment not being returned. In that 2 months I have received to phone calls or emails trying to contact me about this issue. Incompetence at it’s finest.

Worst customer service experience I have EVER had. My mother was diagnosed w/ alzeimers in July. We called in to suspend/ cancel her TV service and go internet only when she gets out of hosp/rehab. Retention dept helped us to do that. Cuz notations werent made properly suddenlink continued to charge her for all services while she was in hospital & rehab. Out of rehab and she now has a bill of over $450 for services that werent received and wont cancel services until $450 is paid and WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE until $450 is paid after being told to cancel. Returning all equipment and looking forward to a day in court!!

Internet is the most Unreliable service I’ve ever had. Can’t get a local person to talk to and the help center is clueless. If you have any other choice besides Suddenlink, go with them! I don’t have a choice or I would drop like a hot potato!Try to contact through Facebook but just takes you to the worthless online help. This company is not very user friendly and does not care about customer service. DO NOT subscribe to their services. Lose internet EVERY morning and night!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Pioneer is bad, but Suddenlink has been worse. I have periods of 0 service for about 3-4 hours every day! I run two businesses from home and have to have reliable internet. My business suffers when I can’t connect. Stay far away from these people!

I went in to see what it would cost for internet. The lady refused to tell me a monthly price because the price may change. Now I feel you should have a base price to quote with a disclaimer that the final price may vary depending on other variables. Every other internet company in town has a base list for all their plans as a starting point. Will not use this internet company due to my perceiving their lack of being upfront with folks.

At first I had no problems with them. Then I moved my service to a new address and they forget to tell me that they give you a new account number when they do this. They turned off my service because I wasnt paying my bill... I was paying the bill for my old address! Then they tell me that I forfeited the $200 gift card promo for lack of payment for an account they forgot to tell me existed... Oh Suddenlink... Hopefully another internet provider gets in Enid. Worst customer service Ive ever seen.

I was supposed to get my wifi set up and they just canceled it and said they need to reschedule it without even telling you about it then you have to call customer service and they are the worst representatives Ive ever had to deal with. For the past week(s) my internet has been spotty. During the day it might be out for gaps of 30 minutes at a time and at night it might go out the entire night. I am looking into changing providers.I also do no appreciate their call center calling multiple days in a row (including weekends) to get me to update to their package with TV. If the internet doesnt work why would I trust their television services to be any better? (They have been told repeatedly to remove myself and my husband from their call list)

Our service is always dropping. A tech savvy friend informed me that the modem which Suddenlink sold to us is too small to handle the internet they sold us. They are constantly increasing our bill, forcing us to call them, at which point they apply a discount and then try to up-sale us. If theres a storm, we lose service. When the wind blows, we lose service. If someone sneezes, we lose service. Unfortunately, there arent many other affordable options in this area as of yet.

Suddenlink has absolutely dropped the ball in Enid, Oklahoma! Our city is in negotiations with them to renew the contract and I would highly suggest they reconsider and highly entertain bringing another company to our town! Our internet service is constantly down, their customer service is poop, they contract out all of their labor and dont even send out actual suddenlink technicians, I would go Chisholm Broadband if I had that option!

Thank you so much for being so prompt when our internet went out. The repairman was right on top of it and knew his business. We have to have connection for Brads heart monitoring and the Suddenlink representative was very helpful and cooperative. This has been a while back but after seeing all the negative, thought a pat on the back was due. We have great speed. Suddenlink cant give you more than your pc can handle, so it helps to know your system.

Horrible customer service. Very difficult to get ahold of. They changed our plan when I moved without telling me from unlimited, & I racked up a hefty bill that they could not refund. They offered to take it off of the next month. We tried to cancel, & they put us on hold for 6 hours. I would highly recommend Chisholm Broadband if it is available to you.

Had an appointment scheduled from 8-11 a.m the technician never showed then they scheduled the appointment 2-5 p.m the technician showed at 7pm. Then he didn’t have the equipment he needed. So I wasted the entire day and still no service . So now I have to reschedule and find time off work to get another appointment. My old review mysteriously disappeared, so Ill post again. Theyre the worst company Ive ever dealt with, ISP or not. Extreme wait times to get anything fixed. Took multiple days off work for a tech appointment only to have them not show up or actually fix the issue. One of their techs stuck their foot through my ceiling, and I recently noticed a soffit vent they pried off to run a cable that birds found their way into my attic through. Buyer Beware!!!!!Customer Service, or there lack of, is deprorable. As of 5/21/21- Suddenlink lied yet again to customer. Thirteen calls should have been 14 because they keep hanging up or putting the call back into que. Do not believe them on getting $100 Visa Card they will mislead you to get more money without giving you what they promise.ABSOLUTELY TRASH with horrible customer service. Took seven calls to finally get told that the modem, by the way is approved by them, doesnt work on a higher speed. Dont waste money with them.

If 0 stars were possible, that would still be too generous... they are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. A great example of why there needs to be competition in a business environment. Many Enid residences have no other choices for internet other than through Dish or a cell company, so suddenlink will charge whatever they want and frequently raise the price with no notice. They are the perfect example of a monopoly, and customers like me pay the price. My basic internet bill has almost doubled in the last 3 years just because they feel like raising the price and know there’s no other “fast” internet options. Some of the people who work there seem great and want to help, but their corporate office policies stifles anything related to good customer service or loyalty.

Good luck contacting them to get anything done. Havent had internet for 3 weeks. Literally. At all. Been waiting on hold for 46 minutes, and this is my 3rd time to call this week. If I got a dollar for every minute Ive been on hold this week, Id have about $200. They also scheduled an appointment with me between 2-5. I called today and the recording said the technician wont be here until 5:50. I have plans, suddenlink. Would give 0/5 stars if it was possible. Such a waste of time and money. Unfortunately they are the only service in my area (Enid, OK).

I called and set up WiFi service with suddenlink on a Monday and made an appointment for the Wednesday of that week for install. The 5 hour time frame of when a technician is supposed to show up comes and goes and I hear nothing. I call customer support the next day to find out the tech couldn’t make it out and was rescheduled for the next Thursday. Thursday rolls around with 30 minutes left in the scheduled window and no tech yet, so I call customer support who inform me the tech was running behind and would be out in 45 minutes, no one ever shows. I call the next day and no one can tell me why the tech didn’t show, only they can reschedule In 2 weeks. So I make another appointment and guess what... same thing happens again. No reason for the tech not showing, but they are sorry and can assure the tech will show for the next appointment in 2 weeks. At this point I told them to forget about it, it’s not worth my time. Long story short they don’t show up for appointments and can’t help out with basically anything. Terrible company and I would highly recommend going with another company if you’re able to. Would absolutely give 0 stars to suddenlink if possible.

If I could rate them lower, I would. Tried canceling months ago. They insisted I transfer the equipment and account to my renters. Send incorrect paperwork multiple times. Finally sends the correct forms. I fill it out, send it back. They just so happen to not get it until I call a month later because I am still being charged. They are absolutely the worst company in existence. I would rather make out with a homeless man than deal with them ever again. Calling them trash would be an insult to garbage. I had a scheduled installation today 5pm-8pm after needing to wait 5 days for an available time. Suddenlink’s contracted installer arrives an hour before the scheduled time while no one is home, then neglects to answer any attempts made by their customer service to come back out during the scheduled time. By far the worst service all around. Had their service before and switched due to the same issue we’re having in our new house, poor quality, outages, and connection loss due to this being a shared service. Meaning anyone that has it around you also uses the same connection no matter what you’re paying and what package you have. Constantly have to reset the network myself. At this point they should be paying me to deal with their trash connectivity. Takes far too long to get to a rep. Automated service will hang up on you. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. Only have it because the area I’m in doesn’t offer another service.

Been out of wifi for a month waiting on a technician to come fix my service, he comes unplugs my router plugs it back in and says they will fix it online. Terrible customer service only reason I have to put up w it is because it’s my only option of WiFi on Vance AFB, I will be routing it up the chain of command to have them removed from this base and have another provider available for everyone else here. 100 bucks a month on WiFi that rarely works this is ridiculous

Worse service provider ever. I literally have talked to 7 different customer service representatives. All of them has told me something different about why my internet isnt working. First it was cause my bill was 3 days late, so I paid my bill yesterday when I got paid. Then it was that it needed 15 min to reboot, then it need a hour to reboot, then was told 24hr. Today I was told that my box isnt working even though a technician replaced it 2 weeks ago. They will literally tell you anything to get you off the phone. Enid has to allow another company in here. We are literally being robbed of our hard working dollars for services that dont work. It is going to be Monday before a technician can come out because they refuse to open stores back up cause they dont want to deal with people in person

Suddenlinks a joke, if there was any other provider in town they wouldnt be in business. They have pretty much bought out the entire enid area and treat customers like garbage. Ive paid for my first month of just wifi with them and almost 4 weeks later im still not able to connect. I havent been able to use my wifi every since day one. And Ive called multiple times and scheduled multiple appointments. One of which when I called back on they said I never scheduled. Ive had so many headaches with these guys already and I havent even been able to connect to the wifi just once. I need wifi to do my schoolwork and this is absolutely pathetic. Moved out of Enid 3 months ago, they had no one to drop their modem box back off to. So you go to their website and there is a shipping label to have it shipped back to them. I follow the directions precisely, and send the package back via the label they gave me. 3 months later, a credit collection agency is calling me about an outstanding bill for the modem box i sent back to them! Unbelievable! Additionally nobody to call except for their headquarters. Screw this company and their horrible customer service.

My internet has now been out for around two weeks. We have had four appointments scheduled to have our line replaced and they have no called no showed for every appointment. Our local office is closed due to Covid, which I understand but means there is no way to actually talk to a person about this. All phone numbers associated with Suddenlink are redirected to their overseas call center so you can never talk to someone who can do more than book another appointment. I have been unable to work during this time as I work from home as a web designer. This is still an ongoing problem, and it looks the only solution is to switch providers.

Damaged my home and did not follow installation instructions. The contractor said that they installed cable boxes etc but did not. I am now being billed for it. I have spent 8 hours on the phone on hold with India trying to get it straightened out and has several techs to the house. One hand doesnt know what the other is doing. The honcho from the Enid store was supposed to come to my home with the original tech that lied about installing services and he never showed either. Better off just making a hot spot with you cell phone and getting satellite.

Id say their customer service is a joke but its really not funny.Our service went out when the cable line got disconnected from the pole during a storm 10 days ago and they still haven’t been out to fix it. I called to report it the day it happened and was told that someone would call back to schedule a time for a technician to come out. After a few days I hadn’t heard from anyone so I called customer service again. The second time I called I was told that the first rep I talked to was supposed to have issued a work order at that time but since he was too lazy to do that and just wanted me off the phone, the second guy I talked to contacted the local office (supposedly). He told me that the next available time was eight days away but reassured me that it wouldn’t take that long for them to send someone out. As of today, those eight days have passed and the technician never showed. No one from Suddenlink has bothered to contacted us. I tried calling customer service again to find out if someone was coming today and after being on hold for more than an HOUR the representative came on and told me that she couldn’t speak to me because I’m not the account holder. My husband had to go to work during the time we were on hold so wasn’t available. I didn’t have any issues speaking with reps before, but after 10 days of no service and no communication from Suddenlink at all, I was suddenly not authorized to even find out if the technician was coming or not. I wasted my entire day waiting around the house for a tech who didn’t show up and they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me if the appointment was ever actually made or not.When the price of our internet plan has more than doubled in less than two years, while their service has slowed down (with frequent outages) it’s infuriating that they can’t at least pretend to respect or even value their customers.

I cant get my router to provide a connection long enough to even write this review (thanks T-mobile)Our last router would shut of the wifi connection on and off all day so we called a professional, he said it was a “bent cable” and he replaced it. Did not help. We bought a new router and The connection is great but it stays on only 10 minutes and then shuts off for a few. Ugh would not reccomend

I scheduled an appointment last week for Monday between 8-11am. Was told that someone on their end didn’t save my payment method and as a result canceled my installation for Monday. Called to try and get it back and was told that time slot was taken so I have to wait till Wednesday. This was the worst customer service ever. Suddenlink saved my family! Internet was so terrible the kids were unable to use their WiFi and finally got off their phones. We’ve been unable to stream TV because of the slow internet... even though we pay for the high speed, so evenings we share stories about our day. No more video games, the family has to go outside and play. I can’t thank Suddenlink enough for their awful service! Highly recommend if you are looking to pay money to detach from the world.

I was charged overage fees on my internet. I called to get my internet changed so I would not have overage fees. The guy that did the changes quoted me one thing but my bill reflected an amount more than 3 times that amount. I have been trying for at least a month to get this resolved. Spoke with another person, he gives me a quote that I actually have to pay but that is, AGAIN, not the amount on my bill. They dont listen just give excuses and tell you your bill is correct. No, they should have to record EVERY conversation because I guarantee, they dont make notes in the accounts properly and he customer gets screwed. Listen to the recording of my conversation about my account. I would be correct and they would see that I was actually given one amount to pay that is far from the amount on my bill. FURIOUS!!!!!!!

I had a technician come out to my house and set up my modem/router. He left before verifying the WIFI was working. I had to schedule a second technician to come out to identify the problem. The first technician hooked up the wrong wires to the connection box. Later I received a $60 service call fee for the second technician to come and fix what the first technician messed up. Its a month later and I am still fighting to have this charge removed from my account.

First off Google reviews can be written by anyone, you simply go to maps and click write a review; you can be a customer service agent that makes a bunch of google accounts and writes fake reviews. I wouldnt listen to unsubstantiated 5 star reviews.Anyway, they literally wasted 5 weeks of my time, lied to me about being able provide internet, about the internet speed, when they could do an installation, and countless times when a technician would arrive and sending me any type of notification. A new hire finally arrived about 4 weeks after I paid them and told me sorry man I cant install, you do not have a grey box and pointed to some across the street, Ill put a ticket in for you he was supposed have been told to install that grey box that is why its called an installation (however he never did, i checked)If you want to do business with this company, expect to pay them up-front and schedule a date for when a technician will arrive. They should send you a notification if they are not going to arrive and if they do, one about 15 mins before they show up. That is what your told.Do not have high hopes that they will arrive, or send you anything, just sit at your place for the 3 hour window that they might arrive in. Then when they dont arrive or send you a notification, give them a call and ask why they didnt show up.Expect to hear where so very very very sorry, I apologize, we are going to fix this, however it looks like you didnt actually schedule... or the date you scheduled is for next week... no point in arguing with them because they do not care, if it is not obvious yet based on other reviews.Then expect to repeat this for an unknown amount of time, they might show up and install the internet or they might not. They eventually told me sorry we cannot provide internet to you, its not our fault, its someone elses...a customer service agent, etc. Look at the reviews from yelp, OKC, other places, they all say it sucks and the ones who dont arent worth listening to. Go with ATT and if you cannot get wired internet get a hotspot.NOTE - from all the negative reviews you can infer that if you do finally get internet, it may be really bad and have to have technicians fix it which will result in many, many headaches as they have lied multiple times, who knows if they are telling the truth about anything, at this point. They may install a literal potato on your doorstep and call that internet, for all you know.

Finally canceled service because of disagreement with billing. Service was out for a month and during the first three weeks of outage had two Suddenlink tech’s test my equipment and tell me that it’s fine even though no signal to house. After a month we finally had a third tech. find the problem outside at the splitter node. He said the node was buried in the ground, was getting wet causing my internet not to work, and was stupid of the Suddenlink tech. who installed the node incorrectly. Node raised above ground, solved problem, and got charged $60.00 for a service call to fix Suddenlink’s screwup.

The people at Suddenlink in Enid are great. 5 star no doubt. Suddenlink the company is not helping us at all. We have spent hours trying to get our bill fixed and our channels back. No help at all.0 stars!!!

This is the worst internet service I’ve ever had. My internet went out for over an hour the other day so they sent a technician to “fix” the problem. An hour after the technician left, the internet went out again. Since then, the internet has gone out at least 6 times every day for about 10 minutes at a time each time. I pay $100 a month to essentially not have internet. Unfortunately, Suddenlink is the only option here in Enid so I have no choice but to deal with it. The internet connection is so bad, it makes me miss the dial-up days...

DO NOT use this company for ANY service! After being a paying customer for almost 2 years, my service gets turned off unbeknownst to me. After being on the phone with customer service for hours and transferred to 5 different people, my service still isnt on. I can no longer log into my account online. Its like they totally deleted my account without my consent or request.

When I called to set up my internet, I was told that the install fee would be waived. Install happened, everything was fine, and then I received a bill. For the install fee. That Id been told would be waived. (I wish I remembered the ladys name I spoke with. She was really nice, and has a daughter that shares my first name.)I called the number on the bill, and a Suddenlink rep (Junior) told me that he would issue a credit to the account. A week later, there was no credit, so I called again. This time, I was told that there was no way they can waive the install fee. They (rep Tevin and supervisor Sasha) said that I should never have been told that was a possibility, since the install fee can only be waived for online orders.I am very disappointed that I was both lied to (harsh, but the truth) by the sales rep as well as had to try to work with such an inflexible company. (I mean, they could waive the fee if I had ordered online, but because I had called it in, I have to pay it EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD OTHERWISE?!?) Makes no sense.The actual service has been OK, not stellar. Its been slow enough to make movies have to buffer for a while.

The call help is useless. Everyone says the same thing and none of them have helped fix the problem. Only thing the ladies in the store can do is replace your problematic modem with another returned modem because they are out of new ones.The problems are not the modems. The problems are the service. Their connections keep dropping.Avoid Suddenlink.

The service SuddenLink offers is far below par. Their techs seem to be contracted out. Out of the past two visits from their techs they have been 3+ hours late. Overall, if you have an option, stray away from SuddenLink...there’s nothing sudden about them.

Service is deplorable. Went to office a week in advance to transfer service to new address. Tech showed up at last possible minute on Friday and said his work order was only for internet and after supposedly checking said he would be back at 8:00 am Monday to take care of it. No show. Went back to office and they said it showed he should of done it all. Then said they would call me as soon as a tech was scheduled to fix it that day. No call. Went back to office and spent 2 hours with customer service rep only to be told AGAIN they would call when they could get a tech scheduled as the system kept rejecting my order. Is this the company we want providing our cable SERVICE. I think not. Stay tuned to see when if ever I do get cable

Possibly the worst Internet provider in north America They have the worst customer service of any person place I ve had to deal with I hope you dont have to have service work done they dont call before they arrive they are late for their appointments Dont go to the bathroom weight on the front porch for them to arrive or they will just not likely and leave a note that they missed you When they do finally show up they wont have the proper equipment to deal with anything And will leave without any fix and you will never hear from them again You then have to schedule another appointment that they wont show up for Call and complain and schedule another appointment will see if they actually show up this time

This place is a joke.The customer service was uninformed. Or they pass the buck.My mothers bill has increased several times. The service was giving her a hard time. So I attempted to talk to the ladies. Yup not worth wasting your breathe.They in my opinion belittle people with company policies.I am not a fan.I would not recommend this place.

Truly a pain to deal with.1) moved and account number changes so you have to go through the pain of creating another account for new address just so you can have access online to bill.2) tech came to fix my cable problem which they stated was my TV. Even though this is the 2nd time the issue had happened to me. Well I reset everything, including TV and it works great.3) tech that came to fix my problem left a mess. I had to go back and clean after him.4) I won’t get credit for days I haven’t had cable which between both times it has been about a months worth.5) they try to get you stay with everything you have by saying there cost extremely ridiculous, which is.I wish we had another provider for cable that wasn’t so expensive and I would just let it all go.
