This review is regarding the customer service aspect of our installation only. Service. Will be reviewed later.Our installer, George, arrived early, which is always welcome in my book. He reviewed the work to be done and our site conditions. The standard routing of cable wouldve involved surface cable, which I detest. I asked him if he could make the run in our attic to avoid the surface. He looked at it, said it would be challenging, but said he was up for it. He then proceeded to do an extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing job. It looks like the work of a skilled tradesman who takes pride in his work. He was very attentive and communicative throughout the install. All I can say is that I wish all my installations went this easy.

Rodger was very knowledgeable and made sure to discuss the installation options so that we would be happy. He was very helpful. The service so far (1 day in) has been 10X better and faster than Century Link.

They were all amazingly helpful from my initial call inquiring about service to the guys that installed it! I work from home so I needed service before I could move in and he got someone out there the next morning! I moved to a rural, heavily treed area about an hour away from my previous home but my technician was able to find an unconventional spot that received signal and made it work! He also was from the area and told me the closest grocery stores, best places to get gas and some hidden gems that would’ve taken me a while to find on my own! I haven’t had any service issues so far so I highly recommend these guys!

So far so great! The installer was just fantastic. He did a superb job of the install and was very courteous. And the service itself is great so far. Much more reliable and faster than the mobile data service we had with A_T.I signed up with Rise at the recommendation of my neighbor who has used them for years and runs his business over their service. He highly recommended them.Im very pleased thus far.

Great guy came out and took care of us. Pointed out different options to make our decision easy about where to put the antenna on the house to pick up signals.

The man who came to install my service was friendly, listened well, and understood how we needed the service set up where I live back among the rocky ridges. He was prompt, did great work, and explained everything patiently. I love the speed and reliable service already. So far ahead of Hughes Net, my previous provider.

Utopia installed our line in two hours. I signed the agreement for Rise an hour before that, and when the installer left, I suddenly had internet that was five times faster than my old internet for only $20 more (and I dont even have the optimum cords and router yet!)This was the easiest internet install Ive ever gone through. Go with Rise and go fiber optic IMMEDIATELY.

I wasnt sure I could even get Rise. Was thrilled when I could. Good service and decent signal as I live east of Peyton.

This is the best internet provider we have had in a very long time!! The service is amazing and the speed is fast! I work from home so I need the speed. We can actually watch all our streaming services whenever we want to and so far, we are very impressed!!! Great price for great service!!

Have had Rise for only 2 days, but wow....what a difference...its like Im back in the city! Im now able to Teams/Zoom calls & not sound like Im underwater on the other end.Even if the difference in speed was not that great from my previous provider I would still gladly switch over to Rise simple based on their service tech Martin...this guy was amazing, smart & just an overall good dude! Rise, its employees like Martin that make a huge difference....dont ever lose this guy!You are lucky to have such a great representive for your company. I recently joined Rise Broadband under the $50 per month promotion that is currently being advertised. My first two bills have been $55. I called customer service today and was informed there was a rate increase and Rise Broadband will not be honoring the promotion it is currently advertising. This promotion is what baited me to leave my other internet service provider for Rise and now the deal was switched by Rise before I even got my first bill. By not honoring this promotion, Rise Broadband has traded its integrity for $5.00 a month.

My Rise equipment was installed yesterday. My husband and I had a great installation experience with Roger. Our network is really fast and hopefully very reliable for a long time to come. I had never heard of Rise before. Im glad someone recommended them for internet service.

The technician was very professional and the service works much better than the previous internet that I had.

Our installer was great, we had coaxial cable ran in our house, however they need cat 5. They ran the correct cable and got us online. So far, so good with the connection, however the real question will be answered next week, when we have two working remotely all week.

The installation was done very quickly. The technician was very careful and cleaned up after himself, then took the time to make sure all of the electronics worked like they were supposed to. I have been with Rise Broadban for years and have not had an issue . Good company to work with

We switched from Hughes net! We live out in the country where we can’t get any internet providers to come out here other than Hughes net! Finally ran into a guy from rose broadband who wouldn’t give up on finding us a signal! Got us hooked up, and so far love it! Much better signal than Hughes net!

Great customer service so far! Installation Rep was nice a very knowledgeable. 4 Stars only because internet connection has been decent only had one drop of connection after setup.

All around excellent service so far, Im only giving 4 stars because Ive had the service for 24 hours, but so far its working awesome. Rise was the only service provider in my area that actually wanted to supply me with internet and its worth it. I also was recommended it by people around me that havent had any issues with it either.

I have been very pleased with the professional manner the interface with Rise has been. The installer (Carlos) was very knowledgeable and worked hard to insure we were happy. We have the need to contact the technical staff with an issue with our router and is quite satisfied with the result.

Technician was very good the 2nd time. The first technician did not seem willing to accomodate our needs regarding placement of dish. As a result of him not hooking up our new service another technician came out the following day and placed the dish exactly where we wanted it the first time. Bonus . . . he was not afraid of heights!

I was really impressed with the professionalism and excellent knowledge of the technician that came to my home to install my broadband system from Rise Broadband. He not only did the install great but also assisted in removing old equipment I had in place.He was very courteous and polite and also helped me with understanding this new system as I had numerous questions and he took all the time necessary to talk me through everything I had to know, even helping me with the billing!

Rise broadband has been a fantastic broadband service for me especially living in a rural area. I’ve tried the other services available to me and Rise has been the best by far. I recently moved to even a more remote location where the only other option was a mobile hotspot which had very weak signal, limited use, and unreliable connection. After waiting a couple of weeks for Rise to come out and set up service I’m very pleased once again with the unlimited access and strong, reliable connection. The install person was very friendly and quick. The only complaint I have is that it took them so long to be able to come out and set it up, especially since I’m an online student. I highly recommend Rise Broadband.

The Rise installer was extremely nice and courteous. He was very conscientious about the installation and how it looked on the exterior of my home. He patiently explained how the whole system worked together. He provided excellent customer service and I would highly reccomend using Rise to anyone interested in getting Broadband installed.

From the first time we met our installer, Israel, until today, we have had nothing but professional, polite, respectful, and helpful experiences with him. I gave 4 stars because we havent had the service long enough to rate its reliability or speed. So far, it feels faster and Im sure will be much faster when I have my laptop serviced. But I am very happy with the service so far.

We live in a area where service is very spotty and unreliable, but our technician was able to find a perfect line of site to a nearby tower. The service is great! We can stream and use zoom with no problem at all, even with multiple people using the WiFi all at the same time! I’m very happy with Rose Broadband!

Fast friendly service love it compared to the other options i have in my area

I needed a speed increase and Rise Broadband wireless was advertising just what I needed at a reasonable price. I called and talked with the local tech who came out immediately. He checked the speed we could get and it was better than advertised. I asked when he could switch us over and he said now; in about 30 minutes we had 25+ Mbps down and almost 5 Mbps up. Very impressed not only with the tech (Kory) but the quality of the connection. Very satisfied.

The Sales Agent and technician were very informative and helpful.

The installer was knowledgeable and friendly. The service is great. And when I did have a question, I did not have to wait on hold for an hour like I did with Spectrum and Frontier.

So far so good! We have a really great internet connection and speed with no issues. The price is much more affordable than I thought it would be. They offered a free installation for the month I signed up. The first bill charged me for the installation. I called and they quickly removed the fee for us.

Brian, our installer was very professional and did a great job! We were concerned about wiring showing on the outside of the house and he walked through the main floor and basement twice with me to make sure everything would look good and run smoothly. This is the second house I have had rise at where I was told I couldn’t have WiFi. It’s affordable, reliable, and allows me and my kids to do everything without lag.

Dont bother wasting your time with this horrible company. I am on a dead end street in a brand new home. All along the street Rise Broadband advertises that they provide service to the homes. I am informed after a 30 minute call that they do not provide service to these homes, even tho I am in the service area. I wasted valuable time for them to falsely advertise there service is available when it isnt. If theyll advertise when not able to provide service to a location how bad do you think their services are when they dont work.

Rise Broadband provides true high speed service when no one else will in my area. I threw away my satellite and it’s horrible speeds and constant lag for super fast high quality service where I can now finally FaceTime my family again while running all my cameras and a full smart home. The installer was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make sure that my install was clean and looked as good as if he was doing it to his own house. I couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend them to anyone.

Installation was smoove and quick. Help with starting up was professional and timely. The only thing I did not like was installing was $10 more than salespeople told me. When you are retired you need correct charges for budget. Overall great experience.

Unless there is no alternative I do not suggest you use this company. Their customer service is horrible. We had a business account with them and our internet was only downloading at 2 mb and we were paying for the highest download services. Our tech team diagnosed the entire network and everything was working fine on the network and they concluded it was a Rise broadband issue. We contacted customer support and they said the soonest they could get a tech out to look at the issue was 3 weeks. We called a competitor and had new internet up in 7 days.

Upgraded from ViaSat to Rise. ViaSat offered 30 MBps and Rise said 25MBps. But with Rise our overall speed is up from an average of 3 MBps to 18 MBps. We do occasionally have trouble connecting with one device (more or less at random) but after 2-3 minutes of restarting the devices, we get on at speeds that are easily 5-6x higher than ViaSat. Would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the occasional inability to connect with a random device.

Technician showed on time, worked his frapin magic, some folks may gripe about the mini dish looking antenna as an eyesore, function and performance out weighs appearance in our practicality book. Living in a rural area and left with cellular companies and satellite/dish providers this 2.5 Ghtz microwave stuff for ISP is miraculously impressive. Bottom line, it works well and insults the latency of the ping speed from our prior cellular providers. Streams and downloads flawlessly for a modest yet effective bandwidth. *online network gamers should check other reviews before making the switch.*

I had difficulty getting service initially due to an overloaded tower. When I emailed them about it they sent a tech out the next day to see if there was anything else they could do to get us some internet service. The tech explained that they would be installing a new tower near me within the next two months and could get me hooked to the overloaded tower in the meantime but at lower speeds. This was fine with me, and he was able to get us set up that day! Super friendly, courteous, professional, and helpful with the setup. This company really tries to “Rise” above the rest! Highly recommend if you’re in their service area, very affordable, and decent connection despite lower speeds (for now)!

The guy showed up early to install. Didnt have to spend much time in my house. Didnt take long to install. Only one of the 3 devices needs to be hard wired the rest connect to eachother so I can plug them where I want them. Can control the led lights on devices. Actually get the amount of service I pay for. So far Im definitely happy we made the switch from CenturyLink. CenturyLink we paid for 50 rarely even got 20.

Actual internet service is good 6 - 23mbps.Installer didnt ask how the cable should be ran just ran it across the roof of the house drops down in front of the house.Then tech says its ready but as soon as he leaves says connected no internet they said it was our router went to get Google router stated on the line with Google and Rise for 3hrs till finally connected.Now have to check why Im paying $55 instead of $50 as listed.But have not had internet issues and getting good internet overall thats about 70% good in my eyes

Great customer service Tech worked with me to find a spot to get great connection and install it quickly. Internet and Wi-Fi service are very fast. Would recommend them to everyone.

We live a small rural area in Illinois and dont have many options for internet. We had Risebroad band for well over 5 years. We decent service when we first got the internet but as time went on the service diminished & when I would call they would tell me we had the higher plan available in our area. There was never any resolution after several years of dealing with this. Back in August we found out a competitor had moved into the area. We had them come out & we were able to get their service. it has been the best change for us we now have service that is 10 TIMES faster and $25 cheaper than Risebroad band.When I called to cancel our service THEN and only THEN did they want to HELP offering me different equipment, lower rates and promising better service. Then they had the nerve to get angry with me when I said we already have a resolution and no long want nor need their service. Unfortunately the automatic payment had already been made and I was informed that they would not be able to refund me in the same fashion in which they are paid so I would have to wait 3-5 weeks to receive a refund check AFTER the equipment had been picked up. When I called a couple days later to find out when the equipment date would be they informed me it would be OCTOBER which was 2 months away!They do now have the equipment back and it was listed as being picked up on August 13th so Im still waiting for a refund as its only been 3 weeks.RISEBROAD BAND get your ACT together and take care of your customers BEFORE they are GONE!

Warren was very professional and knowledgeable. When we had a question, he explained things in a plain manner.Weve only had the service for a couple of days but are over the moon with the increased speed.After Warren left we had a couple of more steps to complete our registration. The emails made that easy.But, people in our area dont know about the service and its availability. If I hadnt called about the tower on Shirland school, we would not have known either.Weve already told several neighbors, but you may want to advertise in the area. We are desperate for faster internet!!

I went thru 2 other internet companies they told me I would have good connection which was not true at all. I work from home and I work thru a VPN those other companies charged me and didnt give me refunds for service I couldnt even use. I used it for 1 hear me only 1 day!! I was referred to Rise thru a friend of a friend and the rep immediately told me that they support VPNS and that I wouldnt have any problems...and yes sir it does I have no I mean no issues what so ever... I have enough connection to work 8-10n hrs a day and also have many other devices all connected as well.... I totally all hands down will refer you to Rise they honestly do live up to there word!!!

Because I’m rural, I’ve never had WiFi. I went through over 10 different companies who wouldn’t offer me service before I found Rise. I had to build a tower, but once again, I knew that was on the table from the get-go. Their service people were kind and helpful. And, despite the fact that they can’t offer the fastest speeds on the market, I can easily stream movies, TV, games, and generally function in online society again.

Our technician/installer (Nick) was early to the appointment. He was efficient and got us installed quickly, all while working around approaching thunder storms. So far, the connection speed is excellent - no trouble with streaming to our smart TVs and Ive been able to work from home today without service interruptions or slow downs. 2 thumbs up so far!
