Our experience with Rappaport Flooring was just great. We had our kitchen and front door hallway floored so we scheduled the job while we were away for the two weeks that it took to complete the majority of the work. It was even more convenient since they shared pictures of each stage from demolition to sub floor to the completed wood floor.From start to finish we were kept in the loop and once we returned we found an extraordinary satisfying result.We have nothing but praise for the professionalism of the owner and crew during the entire process.

I hardly ever write reviews but had to do one for this company. They have done a fantastic job which has far exceeded my expectations. Allen and Maxx were so communicative and professional throughout the time they worked on our floors. Further, we were on a very tight timeline and they somehow pulled off a massive project in less than a week that would have taken any other flooring professional a minimum of 3 weeks to finish.We had other work we needed done from painting to electrical work and Allen referred us to all top-notch people who impressed me by their level of professionalism. He also coordinated his work with theirs and made everything so seamless.If I ever have a flooring question or repair in the future Rapaport Flooring is the first place I will call. Highly recommend this company!

Allen and the team were amazing --- the value was fantastic and their flexibility was great (as we were moving to a new house and werent sure on closing dates until last minute). Our floors look incredible and we couldnt be happier to recommend them!

Allen and his team are professional from beginning to end. We had Rapaport Flooring sand and restain our old wooden deck. The crew was on time, clean, efficient, and did great work. Our deck looks new again, and the pricing was completely fair.I wouldnt hesitate for a second to call on Allen again to repair or replace my flooring or decking.

Terrible experience. Terrible end result and terrible customer service. Alan treated us poorly and lied to us time and time again, gave us the run around for weeks and months after acknowledging that they messed up, knew the fix would cost a lot of $, he promised to fix but kept dodging us. We paid $4,000 and he had the audacity to tell me he didnt even send me his best guys. He had his sanding specialist do my stain job.Details: We didnt love the original color that we picked (once the stain was already coated) we asked what our options were, alan said we can add the color we wanted with the last seal and it would do the trick, we were very clear with him, we asked if there were any negatives to doing this he said NO, he said 0 negatives. The end result, the floor looks painted, is slippery, has dark spots throughout and is scratching so very very easily. Had we have been told it would look like this we would have kept the original color. We brought in other experts and they said the rule that every pro knows is never mix the stain color with the seal. We broke the rule and oh did we pay. Alan played us For fools, he was rude and obnoxious throughout our experience with dealing with him. We built our home, full gut, 18 month job and Alan from j rappaport wood floor was by far the worst sub contractor that we dealt with. We later Discussed with PGS to fix as everyone knows in the tri state that they are the very best and most professional in the industry to work with.

We had a leak and had to fix our entire first floor. Allen worked with us to get our color perfect. It took a lot of time to get it right but in the end it matched and looked great.

It kills me to have to give this company one star. This is by far the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. They installed wood floors in my new house and there are gaps between boards all over the house. (see photos). Even paid them to come back and replace a cracked board they refused to do under warranty even though it was a few months old. And NOW THAT SAME BOARD IS CRACKED AGAIN! Once again, they refuse to fix it under any kind of warranty (board is only 5 months old). The only thing worse than their product is the customer service. Takes days to get someone on the phone, and when you get someone you’ll get a BS answer like “we need to send someone to look at it” (no one ever shows up). Do yourself a favor and find someone else. This company is going to be nothing but a headache
