I’ve been a part of this gym since before it became Dawry Fitness and I have to say that under this new management, the gym has transformed tremendously. The layout of the gym was rearranged to allow for more open space. Various types of fitness classes are now available and the gym is maintained and cleaned more than it had been before. The owner continually works to enhance the customer experience and he truly is a honest man. Dawry Fitness has been my premier gym since the peak of Quarantine (about a year now). Dawry has taken great care of the gym since I’ve been here, he sanitizes all machines and makes sure it’s a safe, yet fun environment for all members. Plenty of machines and space to exercise. I recommend this gym to anyone in the area!

I’m so happy to be part of Dawry club,his classes are amazing. The gym is always clean and the price is very affordable. I will recommend go by yourself and get your own experience,every one is different so you need to be there and get in shape.

I honestly can’t see this about most gyms but the owner is a really honest business man. I recommend this gym a lot. He is honest and helpful compared to the previous owner. Dawry fitness is great and I’d consider joining in the future. I really respect a gym that doesn’t try to take advantage of customers and Dawry fitness has nothing but my respect. 👍.

I have been a member for 2 years. I have seen alot of changes, for example turf grass. More space and way cleaner. Also the best personal trainers i am now in the best shape of my life.

Ever since Dawry took ownership of the gym I’ve been loving it. The equipment is always clean and him & his team take good care of it. The bathroom is always clean & and sanitized well. I always feel comfortable when I’m there & it’s never too crowded.

Used to be another gym. Ownership changed hands and I was not notified that I was still a member of the gym. Received a collection letter for a gym that I never stepped foot in after ownership changed hands. Never reached out to inform me that there was money due. My number has not changed in over a decade so there should have been no reason for me not to be alerted to the dept. Shady business practice for a gym I never used or signed a contract with a new owner.

Had the opportunity to meet the owner. Very nice guy & easy to work with. The place is an awesome spot where you are welcome & easily comfortable. I’d recommend this gym to others. 👍🏻

The owner is very rude and writes the fake reviews for himself. He has not fixed anything in the gym. All the 5 star reviews from fake accounts with 1 review are the owner pretending to be happy customers. He’s been open 1 year and has more reviews than gyms open for 10 years 😂. Scam artist don’t come here go to real gym.

I started coming to this gym a couple years ago and ever since Dawry took over, this gym has become cleaner, better, and overall great! It’s currently still under construction but already looking great and fully equipped. He is very professional, kind and his priority is satisfying his customers. He’s also a great trainer. Gym is very reasonable in price. If your looking for a local gym..this is a great place!

I recently joined this gym in looking to gain/bulk. Dawry is the best trainer I ever had. He makes sure that you are reaching your goal while encouraging you. A very motivated person! The gym is kept clean, since it is required you wear a mask and there are plenty of sanitizers. Also, there are plenty of machines to go around for everybody. The staff are super friendly and they make sure you are getting what you pay for. If you are looking for a local gym spot, I highly recommend.

Dawry is amazing!! He worked with me to help me to not only change my outlook on fitness itself but get into routine that is simple and effective. Dawry and his team always has the gym clean and sanitize. I’m currently attending his Bootcamp. It is, hands down, my favorite classes I have ever taken. Actually, it feels more like you are getting a personal training group session!! I am pushed to my limits every time and have seen and felt such of improvement in myself since day 1. Love this gym. The new owner is great, on top of staying sanitary and recognizes all of his clients. This place is always kept clean and makes me feel safe to workout here.

People walk around the place without masks. The owner sees them and just continues to go on with his day. You are better off going somewhere else. I don’t like when businesses make fake profiles to leave fake positive reviews. Do not believe the fake reviews.

The gym hasn’t improved since it was called fitness 19. Though they’ve quadrupled the price. Owner doesn’t know what he’s doing with the place. So sad, another great business ran into ground. Dawry ruined the place 👎.

Only been going here for about a month and I love everything about it. Employees are all very kind and always willing to help you if you’re having trouble with any machine. Monthly payment is also very much worth it for those who are looking to sign up.

This guy is running a scam this used to be fitness 19 and I had a membership that I canceled 3 years ago. They ended up transferring everyone at the previous gym to Darwy fitness without their consent. Very fraudulent activity going on.

Dawry is one of the best trainers I have come across. He is very dedicated to making sure you get to your goal while encouraging you the whole way through. His gym is also very well equipt and the pricing is very reasonable, especially with the different memberships available. I can honestly say I feel very good about the services I get for the amount of money I spend.

The owner just back charged me $138.03 for months during a pandemic when no one could work out! Thats disgusting! I even called and left your business 5 voicemail messages in April 2020 saying the account was CLOSED, and now today March 8, 2021, you charged my bank account for 7 months when you werent even open. The owner will not refund the 7 different charges they hit my card with and said they had a problem with their POS system so they now charged me for 7 months when they opened in September 2020 even though I canceled the account in April 2020! Unethical business practices.

Where do I begin? I’ve been coming to this gym since it was Fitness 19 from around 2012. I’m an Elmwood Park local and this gym is very convenient for me. It’s the perfect size, and there’s plenty of new upgraded equipment and weights.The new owner, Dawry, is beyond professional and really does care about the members at the gym. Not just that but, he has done several improvements inside the gym to make it more open and less clustered in other words. The gym has been open for private use by appointment only because of the pandemic and Dawry has set a very convenient protocol for when people enter the gym.For example one must come in with their face mask on and sanitize their hands, then there is a temperature check. No more than 10 people are allowed to be in the gym at once and social distancing is required. Bootcamp classes are also here ran by Dawry. I am extremely lucky to be a member of this gym and I will always continue to support!

Stumbled on this place looking for a gym after Covid. Cheapest in the area with quality equipment and a really friendly hands on owner. Gym is very clean and right now under renovation so in a month or less will have brand new bathrooms etc. If your looking for a gym in the area this is it. See my review of Achieve fitness

This man is the best personal trainer i have ever seen, I’m so grateful to have met him. I’ve achieved a lot in a little time after meeting him. He will challenge and push you until he see the results. He works so hard, I get to be trained 2 times a day all days of the week. Incredible work Dawry!

I really love this place so clean, so professional and amazing service.

Ive been coming to this gym for a few years now. Since Dawrys taken over, and the gym has reopened post covid the changes are GREAT. The precautions are throughout the gym and it truly makes a difference. Upon arrival, there is a thermometer and there are abundant hand sanitizers throughout the gym. The treadmills are separated with dividers and signs are up to maintain masks on if the 6ft distance is not possible. If you need to get back to your gym routine, dont hesitate to come back. The environment is clean, motivating and exactly what you need to get back into shape.

I’ve been training with Weylin for the last year or so and have lost more than 50 pounds...he is more than just a trainer...he is a motivator and encourages you to be the best while looking your best...even when he is not training you he is reaching out to make sure you are staying active...the gym is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and for the cost you cant beat it...come check it out for yourself if you dont believe me...
