All true and this was never denied, but some more facts are:Prior to bringing our Jeep to the shop, the transmission shifted just fine regardless of what codes came up. It went haywire after your shop worked on it.Our A/C was ice cold until your shop had it and now blows hot air.The car wouldn’t start several times after your shop worked on it. The battery was not the issue, somehow the fuel pump relay was damaged while your shop had it. This was confirmed at another shop immediately after leaving yours.By your own admittance, you “weren’t prepared for the job”. You admitted some of the work was new territory for your shop. We were even accused of doing work elsewhere before bringing it back to discuss the issues when the truth is it was parked a few blocks from the shop for a few days because it was not drivable compared to before we serviced it at your shop. None of this is is libel. It’s fact.Our OPINION (not libel) on it all is: your shop made some honest mistakes but wasn’t up for fixing them without further charge. The issues were not directly relevant to the work your performed so you’re able to claim it doesn’t fall under the warranty you provide. The FACT is there were new issues that weren’t there before your service. Your shop has a great reputation but nobody is perfect.

Treated with respect. Explained the repairs needed and the time frame for which repairs should be done.

2 of my tires were always problematic. I changed them here and since then I haven’t had any issues. Great job!

I needed to change Spark plugs & coils in my Camry 2010. This was done within a few hours as promised and car is running great. The price was reasonable and properly explained, all communication also was very professional.

I took my car here because they had great reviews. But only to be highly disappointed. The owner Al is a very nice person & he’s the only reason they get 2 stars. I took my car there for a sound that i was hearing. Upon getting my car back my engine light was blinking & shaking which was pulling my car. The worker claimed that is was going to do that. But come to find out they unplugged my spark plugs to make me think that my engine was failing when it wasn’t. Just minor problems with my car. If i didn’t go to another Mechanic for a 2nd opinion. I would’ve really thought my engine was bad.

These guys are the best.The owner Al and his team didnt cut any corners,they found a cut wire in my car that was causing a short in the electrical system. I highly recommend this place for any car issues or upkeep for your vehicles.

I can honestly say that I have not met a more honest, upfront, and truly customer focused repair center and people than I found with Elmwood Certified. Both Randy and Albert were honest and transparent, but as importantly the repairs made on my 1998 E320 were perfectly done and now the car runs like it was brand new. I will not take my cars anywhere else now.

Ive been using Dennis and his team for several years now on 4 different cars (2 newer, 2 older). Tires, a transmission, brakes, an annoying noise, fixing an emission-related issue in order to pass inspection - literally have been through it all. I found them through a website and Im so happy that I did.Their service is exceptional. Their integrity is unmatched in my 30+ years of driving. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Honest. Thanks again to Al and his crew. I knew there were some problems with the frontend (loud noises over bumps and un smooth ride) and that my brakes were well over due. Thankfully I made it in time. I was close to loosing the capability to steer and I found a large piece of brake pad in the driveway the morning I dropped van off for repairs. Now it brakes evenly, and rides smooth for a van!!!!!!Thanks Guys.

My car wouldnt start at all, wanted to try a new mechanic that was nearby work and home. So I went ahead and had my car towed here and from the moment I stepped into the shop they were attentive, helpful and informative. They even offered to drop me off to work (since it was nearby) while they worked on the car. Service was incredibly fast, after dropping off the car in the morning it was ready by lunch time! I had them also check for any other potential issues with the car, which they did but did not force or guilt me into having it done. I would definitely come again and recommend them to anyone with car troubles.

This is probably the only place I would trust with my car. I started coming here a little over a year ago when I got my car in 2016 by my dad’s recommendation who’s been going here for years, and I can honestly say that I’ve always had a positive experience since then. Dennis and his team always do an amazing job in whatever service I need while maintaining the same level of quality and efficiency throughout. They’ve always been accommodating to my schedule, especially if I had to stop in early in the morning before going to work or if I had a busy schedule. What I admire the most about this place is the transparency Dennis and his team have. Whenever I go to any other car service center or dealership for a certain service (check engine light, recall, general concern, etc.) they’d always tell me that something’s wrong with my car and then some more and that it needed to be fixed immediately via the most expensive service that they offer. Dennis always responds to my concerns honestly and thoroughly whenever completing and reviewing a service, even when I have specific questions or concerns. He is extremely straightforward and always gives me great recommendations in taking care of my car. I can definitely attest that he and his team are here for honest, quality service for your car and not to make as much money off of you each time you visit. If you need to go to a place for any sort of auto service, this is the first place I’d recommend without a doubt.

This place is great, They take care of all of our vehicles. They do just about anything. Tire Changes, Oil changes, brakes ... you name it they do it. Dennis and Randy are always courteous and very helpful with any issues that we have.

He changed all my tires and balanced them and did a complete check up as my car is 10 yrs old. Well I got there on a emergency basis after visiting 4 other places, which could not just give me a price ...On a new muffler. Mine was hanging. I got to Elmwood Certified Auto and Dennis took care of me right away gave me the price and breakdown of service and even printed it out. The price was reasonable and I they took care of it right away. THEY were excelent, professional, and honest. I already had the breakdown to the price that I had researched and it was matched to even the Labor. I highly recommend this Place. You cant find honest people anymore so this is the place to go.

The problem in the auto repair industry is like many in other type of businesses - there is a lack of transparency. For example, you dont really know if the problem the mechanic claims to be the problem really is the problem. Or, you dont know even if they fixed the problem afterwards. Or, you dont know if they are price gouging you - its very difficult to price shop because its not like youre going to leave and go to another place.But, I can confidently say that this place does not do this. Ive been to many places and this is literally the only one that I could find that was honest. His prices are great and they know what they are doing.Think about this. This business has some customers who come from out of state to go there. That should tell you something.

I strongly believe a great mechanic is hard to find. Since I was 18 Ive had a car and every time I had a problem I always went to a different mechanic .. Now, Ive met the best mechanic and I will continue to come. Great customer service by all employees and I felt like I can trust them with my car. Very clean waiting area and the bathroom is amazing. These mechanics know their job. They are A # 1 at diagnosing a problem, especially now with all the computer parts that are in cars. In a matter of minutes, they can tell me what is wrong with my car, how they can fix it and how much it will cost. They never start working on your car without going over the pricing with you first. I have had my cars, vans, trucks, and limos servicedat Elmwood Certified, and I am very satisfied with their work. The best knowledgeable mechanics. Extremely Honest. Reasonable price.I was driving to Pennsylvania from Stony Brook, Long Island, NY. My GMC Yukon start sounding metal grinding behind driver side rear wheel. I pulled over route 80 exit 57 west bound. Had to spend night at TowneHouse Inn near Paterson New Jersey. Fisrt thing next moring I googled nearby shop and found Elmwood Certified Auto Service 2 miles away. Dennis fixed my car in 30 min. Found my emergency break pad came out and was rubbing and he told me all the options. In $45 total I was driving back to Pennsylvania. I then went to Canada and drove car trouble free from Niagra to Mississauga and Toronto back and forth. Dennis was my Angel. Real nice and honest Italian fella.
