I just purchased a vehicle from Darlings in Ellsworth and I had called with a big list of wants. Than called me and went over everything that was important to me in the vehicle I was looking for as well as my price range. I was looking at Buick Enclaves and I didnt want the payment on a brand new Enclave, within a day, Than had found me a beautiful 2018 Buick Enclave that had everything on my wish list and more. They gave me the trade in that I asked for on my Jeep Compass and Matt in finance worked hard to get the payment exactly where I wanted it. I LOVE this Enclave and would definitely recommend seeing Than and Matt for your auto needs I had called 3 other dealerships and really got the same reaction (we dont have anything that would cover all of your needs, it will be months until we get a vehicle in like that). I didnt feel like they even looked or cared to look. A week after I bought my Enclave one of the dealers actually did call me and said they had one vehicle that was never picked up that I could come look at. I felt like second best, they didnt give me the time of day and then when there was a leftover I got a call. I was happy to tell them that I already made a purchase through Darlings in Ellsworth. Going to see Than would be the best choice if you want to purchase a vehicle, he never made me feel like my needs were too much or that he couldnt find something in my price range that met my needs. I cant say enough good about the customer service while purchasing this vehicle. Will definitely buy all future vehicles through Than and Matt.

The stock was low and there were no prices. There is nothing more irritating then to have a car dealerships not put the prices out just so you will have to come in side and speak with a sales person. We dont want to waste your time so why do you waste ours.

I had an appointment to have my truck fixed, mind you, I JUST bought it (3 months ago) with LESS than 30k miles on it. There is a noise underneath the truck when I hit any sort of bump. Brought it in Friday, left and re drove it home, just to realize the noise was still there. They said it was the tow hitch....I personally removed it myself (because they left it on the truck) and it STILL made the noise. So now I have to drive ALL THE WAY back up there for the same exact issue, I have already paid for, 200$, and now I have to inconvenience myself AGAIN and pay AGAIN for the same original issue. I feel ripped off completely! Not impressed at all. My next appointment isnt until the 16th....so, I have to wait another 2 weeks.

Purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic back in April amid the coronavirus stuff.The salesperson Gary Seavey was awesome to work with. We discussed what I was looking for in a truck over the phone and a couple of emails on some different options. I was able to pick out a great truck that Gary delivered to my home after work. Great dealership to work with from the initial online inquiry, to the support staff, salesman, and finance person.

I wouldnt send my worst enemy to their service center...I have never experienced such a lack of communication before. Youd think on a $4k repair that they would care just a bit more. They botched the repair and now I am losing work thanks to them. I still have no vehicle. Almost one month later. I will never use their services again after this sh*tshow.

The car I bought blew the engine shortly after warranty ran out. They refused to come good for it. I paid 4000 for another engine. After I got the motor, had more issues with it and had to pay another 500 on the motor. Its the car, 2013 Equinox! I researched them after my problem, found out the engine is bad in most of them! Even while still under warranty, had to take it to be diagnosed over a traction problem. They charged over 100 dollars...under warranty for a diagnosis! The car had a price about a thousand or so over kelley bluebook, talked them down to a more reasonable price, but it was still over 8,000. I thought by the price, Id at least get a decent car. Contacted recently by a manager over my review, sent a 1200 dollar check, told me it was an older car, and I had put 10000 miles on it. Not sure about that, its still an expensive car to have the motor blow. And really who was he to make it sound like its my fault in any way that the motor blew?! Hope in the future customers are treated better on their purchases. My advice, be wary of certain models...do research. And be wary of salesmen pushing certain cars, they know something you dont!

Traveled 2 hours from home to have the blind spot sensor fixed. Fixed the drivers side. Passenger side doesnt work. They left the contents of the owners manual scattered on the passenger seat and floor. Im not driving 2 hours and taking time off from work again. Ill have my own mechanic work on my vehicle.

My sister just got one in Bangor and they drove hers to her house down east too! When I am ready to do it again it will be BANGOR!!!

Had an interesting experiences at Darlings. Our vehicles transmission dies while on vacation. The service staff was very up front about the issues and understood our situation. We ended up buying a very nice used vehicle to replace our car. Sales staff was nice but it was obvious he had a job to do which was get us to buy a car. The car is very nice, and we got a good (not great) price.

Had a fantastic experience with Darlings service. We were in Hancock county from out of state to work remote for a few weeks during Covid. I needed some warranty work done related some body panel fitment issues before the warranty expired and brought my vehicle to Darlings. Darlings went over and above to take care of the situation and I couldnt be happier. Although the entire experience was great I specifically want to thank Josh Bartlett. Wish we had you all at home.

We were having some issues with my all time favorite vehicle and they were able to get me in and even work around dropping off my vehicle a day early. The day I dropped my vehicle they called me an hour later to tell me they looked at it early and offered to do the repairs the next day during my scheduled check up appointment. I received another call first thing in the morning saying everything had been completed. They were quick, efficient, professional, and that was exactly what I needed. My vehicle was fixed and quicker than I thought.

Very good place to get service work done. My last dealership for service work was in Newport. That was fine as I lived and worked nearby. Now that Im retired I need something closer to home - Darlings. They take care of me on time and get the job done right. Then there are the little extras like washing my truck and letting me know the brakes are ok for now, but better start saving for next time. Very happy to have found them so close to home.

Staff was great! Price however was a shocker. To replace my LED running light, I was quoted a price of over $1000.00. For a headlight! That is beyond awful. Jeep needs to fix this problem. Constantly hear how Jeep designs to not break their history of tough, cost effective quality to the customer. This is breakage!!

I have been utilizing the Darlings Auto Mall for quite some time for both Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance on my FORD FOCUS and Mercury Sable. The service writers I have worked with, Andy B, Mike E and Jason G have treated me as a person, they have talked and discussed items to me rather than treating me like I have no idea what my problem is and talking down to me as I have experienced at other Darling Locations in Bangor. The maintenance performed on all of my vehicles has always been of the highest quality, any problems discovered have always been explained in a manner that is understandable. Would recommend Darlings Auto Mall in Ellsworth for any type of vehicle maintenance.

Ive had horrible experience from this dealership since day 1 of buying my vehicle there. The way they go around dealing with issues is to ignore you when you call, or to tell you its normal. Ive dealt with Josh and Andy in service, the service manager Ed and the sales manager. They all have the worst customer service Ive ever seen in my life and seem to only care about themselves. If I could return my vehicle to them and get a full refund I would. I will never recommend this dealership, not even to my worst enemies.
