This is not a well-run business. I ordered some tires and they said they would be in in two days and they would call me. At my request, they sent the total cost in an email. I waited almost a week, called them and they said oh yeah they’re in, but they don’t really have any time for an appointment for another couple of days. So I set an appointment two days later, and when we went in they said they didn’t have our appointment and assumed we were at the wrong place. Finally they took the vehicle but instead of it being an hour and a half it took over five hours. Then they were unable to show price breakdown until after they charged credit card, but, of course, they charged $20 more than what the email said. The person acknowledged it was wrong but did not “know how to give a credit” so someone would have to call us. The next day someone did call us and said we’d have to come in to get the credit. So when we came in, they only gave a $12 credit despite the email price being clearly $20 less than the price they charged us. I don’t think it was intentional, as they did not seem to be bad or rude people, they just appear to be grossly incompetent in actual business operations or in keeping their promises- at least based on the facts above. I am not planning on returning.

I have been a customer of Dobbs in Ellisville, MO since 2007. They have always been a great value and provide excellent customer service. But this week they went well above and beyond. I took my 2015 Jeep to them for a quote to repair an engine ticking noise. The service manager Gene advised me that of course Dobbs could do the repair, however given the low mileage and solid maintenance record of the vehicle that I should have my dealer take the issue up with Chrysler corporate. I had taken the vehicle to the dealer first. But they did not mention this possibility. With Gene’s advice I reapproached the dealer and then Chrysler corporate. Jeep stood by their vehicle as Gene suggested and corrected the issue, Saving me over $3000.00 !!! THANKYOU to the Dobbs Ellisville team including Brittany for providing my service records. Well done! You continue to earn my business. True professionals.

Nice people. But I went to have a diagnose of my car’s A.C. They didn’t check it, the charge gas in the AC on it, charge me for that and no diagnose that all. Now A.C. Is full but still not working.Other services as inspections with no problem and wells service.

Called to ask if I could have them look at my nonworking seat belt. Spoke to Rob who told me to bring it by anytime and to ask for him. He came out to parking lot. Figured it out immediately. Fixed within 15 seconds. No charge. Very friendly and professional. Had tires replaced here less than a year ago. Wonderful experience as well!

Took my car to Dobbs because my window washer pump was out. I asked when they could get it in. They said they could have the part in 45 minutes and repair it right away. I went to lunch and came back. The part was to there and they did the repair right away. It was a little pricey, but then again, you get what you pay for. Friendly people, great service and quick repair. This was my first time there and I will be back!

185 dollars for a state inspection where the only charges were cabin air filters and hood support rod (old one was fine), neither are even required to pass inspection, because my wife was nervous and English is not her first language. Had the car inspected in another state just one month previous with no issue.

I always receive great service from the Ellisville Dobbs. I’ve been going there for years and have yet to return because the problem wasn’t taken care of properly. They always provide fast turnaround and do a great job communicating with me before and after service is provided. Couldn’t recommend them more!

We recently took our Ford Explorer to Dobbs in Ellisville. Our brakes had started grinding and needed to be checked out. I dropped our vehicle off first thing in the AM without an appointment. I was greeted professionally and they committed to get it looked at and have it back to me by the end of the day. Later that afternoon they called me to inform me of the status. There was a part that needed to be ordered and they did not think they could get it in until the next day. They said that they would reschedule me for a future time. By 5:00 PM that same day, they called to let me know that they did get the part and if possible for me to leave it for a little bit longer then they would have it finished before the days end. This was awesome because it freed my schedule from needing to bring it back. Dobbs went above and beyond what I have experienced at similar facilities. They took into consideration my need for my vehicle and did everything in order to get the vehicle ready for the road...on the same day without the need for coming back. Thank you!!!

Staff is great, work is always done well. Higher end of price spectrum on everything from tires, to brakes, to oil changes. I come back for the service but it certainly is not the cheapest in town.

I took my car to get my brakes fixed. I knew I probably needed to get new rotors as well, and they confirmed that. They also said I needed an entire overhaul of the back braking system and quoted me over $1200 to do just the rear of my car. Upon getting a second opinion, all I needed were new pads on the back which ended up being less than $300. Do not trust what they recommend without getting a second opinion

I recently visited this location and had 4 new tires and an alignment done, after some suspension work. a couple of notes on my visit:The service was performed very quickly without an appointment, thank you for that.The manager who handled my car was respectful.The set of goodyear tires were pretty expensive, and if more reasonably priced tires were stocked, I wouldve given 5 stars.I did have to bring my car back to have the steering wheel straightened to center after the alignment. After the adjustment was made I believe it was over-corrected. The manager offered to set an appointment, but I had already spent enough time on this. Not a terrible experience, but will visit elsewhere next time.

I could not be more pleased today. Woke up to a completely flat tire after hitting a curb last night in the rain. My neighbor has a air compressor so that got me to Dobbs this morning. They didnt have my tire in stock because it’s a specialty, so they popped my spare on and I headed to work. I was out of Dobbs within 10 minutes. I got a call a few hours later that my tire was in and to come by before 8pm. I left work at 3:00, got to Dobbs by 3:30, and again was out of Dobbs within 10 minutes. Okay, car issues can be the biggest pain in the butt and consume your day. But not today! Their service team was on it and did everything to show me that they valued my time. Our Ford Explorer shredded the serpentine belt on Friday night. As we usually get service at the dealership of purchase, we called on Saturday morning and was told it would be Monday before they could get the car in. I took it to Dobbs at 9 and the car was fixed by 12:45 pm and back in my driveway! Pretty amazing since they were busy, as usual! Nice job Dobbs in Ellisville!

I took my 96 Toyota 4Runner in for an oil change and a nail in my tire. After initial inspection the shop manager pointed out a few additional items that were recommended. He took the time to show me on the vehicle exactly what he was talking about. On top of the rotation and balance he recommended, he showed me that my rear shocks were bad. Feeling confident in the repairs needed, I went ahead with them. Mike, the store manager, was very thorough going through my bill and explaining all charges and benefits to the repairs performed. Zach also helped with the many questions I had. I felt both were genuinely concerned with my comfort and complete satifaction. I cannot say enough about the above and beyond service I received. Today I brought my car in to be worked on at this ellisville location. I needed my drivers side break pad and rotor replaced I already had the parts and they charged me $260 for 30 mins of labor. So all in all they got my parts installed it was just insanely expensive.

Horrible experience. Worst customer service I have ever seen. The worker at the front desk would get off the phone with customers and then complain about them and make fun of them in earshot of all the customers. He would tell stories and say the f-word every other sentence very loudly in front of customers. Then he said sexist remarks when a woman customer was trying to get an oil change. If you are the manager or owner, I implore you to take action to straighten this store out. I will never come back and don’t recommend it to anyone who wants to be treated with respect.

Have brought several vehicles to the Dobbs in Ellisville. Have gotten oil changes, tires, emissions, etc. David the manager at that store is great, as well as their staff! They always greet you with a smile and offer fast and friendly service! This is by far the best Dobbs location I have been to. I will continue to bring my cars there for service, as well as recommend the Ellisville Location to family and friends for all their automotive needs.

This location put my fiancé back on the road with a bad tie rod end on her car. Anyone who knows anything about this part knows its dangerous and you can lose control of your vehicle of this part fails. This being said the shop manager Mike knowingly let her leave with this part in this condition. He could have potentially killed my fiancé and or someone else on the road. I went to confront them about it and they felt they did nothing wrong and a clerk there named Brad was laughing at my face and scoffing at what I had to say. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I hope that this will sway anyones decision to do business here. They truly do not care for their patrons safety.
