ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE! DO NOT COME FOR COVID TESTS!My child had to get PCR test and we also opted to do Rapid test. We were asked to pay $100 up front for Rapid, and I specifically asked Mercy to also send the claim to insurance. She said yes at the time. Days later I spoke to my insurance company and was informed that she billed for a an office visit and a covid test. NOTHING ABOUT RAPID TEST. I called the office a few times asking her to file the claims correctly. She either put me on hold, never got back to me, or just hung up on me.Not to mention when we did the Rapid, she just left the cartridge (the thing that shows positive or negative) on the coffee table where ALL the people that came through the door could get close to. Professionalism much?She might seem nice when you just walk in the office. But once you realized something is shady, good luck ever try to get her to fix it. Shes too busy. However not too busy to write nasty responses to the TRUE negative reviews!

My first appointment last year with Mercy was great. She was very empathetic at the time. She treated me my 1st pregnancy visit, then I left and came back to her after my child was born. I instantly seen the decline in her empathy. I’m not sure if that is to being short staffed or not, but she just didn’t seem like herself. My last visit I arrived on time to my appointment and had to bring my 3 month old daughter with me. When I got to my appointment, I can hear Mercy in her office on the phone screaming at whoever was on the other line. It sound like she was arguing about unpaid bills. I waited 20 minutes into my appointment to go knock on her door but she came out of her office. I told her my daughter had a doctor appointment next and I had to leave her office within the next 30 min. She then criticized me for making my doctors appointment so close to my own appointment. She then tried to accuse me of being late to my appointment (when I was early and waited in the parking lot for her.) I then asked her when can she see me. She told me I’m wasting time and could’ve been left to handle my business and come back. She then told me she doesn’t know when she’ll be off the phone and blamed me for her not taking me back in time. She then says it’s not her fault and she didn’t tell “those people” to call her. I left her office outraged and never got an appointment. It’s almost like she has lost passion for her job. I’m still in shock at the horrible experience. I will never recommend or go back to her office.

OMG. The rudest woman ever there who picked up the phone when I called to get PCR results! To start off with, her accent was so incredibly thick, I could barely understand her so I had to ask her to repeat what she said several times. She talked over me the entire time while I was trying to speak to her. Stated all results were given in 2 days (um on Thursday when I had the test, I was told that it took 2 days and being that Monday was Labor Day, results would be Tuesday); she went on that I must not have uploaded my insurance card, which I had Wednesday evening before my Thursday appointment (front and back of card) and argued about that. She did NOT listen to a word I was saying. Said shed call me back (never asked for my #) and THEN, HUNG UP ON ME!Also the location said drive up services online yet when you get to the location, you have to call inside because you cannot call in. They tell you go to the white table with the brown box and fill out insurance test form and someone will come out. Wrong. I had to call 2 times when someone finally answered and let them know I was there. No chair to sit down on. I asked the employee to come to my car as Im tall and she was very short and wouldnt be able to reach my nose. Smh.The ONLY reason I went there was for my job. NEVER AGAIN. That place is HORRIBLE.

After posting my negative experience with FHC, Mercy Ijoma, the Nurse Practitioner at this facility, posted about me being a disgruntled ex-employee as if that exonerated her of any responsibility over her behavior. Just for the record, I have never posted negative reviews on previous employers. Also, lets not forget that there are so many so called disgruntled ex-employees along with recently disgruntled patients who reviewed this place . If in doubt of my review, please read the reviews from just this year alone. There are also reviews listed on Facebook, Yelp, and the Better Business Bureau. If that isnt enough, take a quick look at her responses on here alone. For almost every negative review, her unprofessionalism is so apparent with how she has addressed PATIENTS on here. Good luck to whomever wishes to do business here.

I recently moved back to Maryland and felt it was extremely difficult to find any available testing until I came across Family Health Connections. I made the appointments on the same day for my family and completed the forms online! They were extremely helpful and professional with quick results.

I have yet to be seen, as I just got off the phone with them. I can say however, I have called 5 different places today to schedule a new patient appointment for a unique request and the woman who answered was quick to evaluate my situation and schedule me like I was a priority. Customer service and care is 1/2 the battle for health care providers and I must say I am already so grateful to this practice.

I would give 0 star if google allowed me to.My wife had a trip and the place she went requesting she do a COVID test within 72 hours. So we called multiple places to make sure we can get the results before departure. The front desk promised if my wife do her test on Friday morning she will definitely get her result on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. So my wife went there and the place close on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. It caused a big problem for the trip!!! We would go to another place if they told us the truth.We will never go to this place again because they lied and they don’t care about their patients.

As a professional in service oriented business, I recognize good services when I see one, from the day I made my appointment till this second as I post this, AWESOME is the word, don’t let any one convince or confuse you otherwise. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. We had a 7 AM appointment booked, and followed the procedures of filling out the paperwork and calling the phone number. No one answered after calling 5 times. I went inside and knocked on the door of the office, and no one answered. I waited for 30 minutes and continued to call. I also called both numbers on the website and left a message. This provider is extremely unprofessional and unreliable by simply not showing up for work, and not letting her clients know. I also see on the reviews that she responds to the negative comments blaming the patient, when there is no excuse for not showing up for the appointment without warning.Additionally, there is no excuse for this as I am not complaining about delayed lab results (may be Quest’s fault) - we never got tested in the first place! She cannot say that we should have called, or waited for her, because we did. This is simply an account of my family being let down by the nurse practitioner by her not showing up, after doing everything possible to prepare for the appointment. Very disappointing.REPLY TO OWNER:Actually we did all confirm our appointments via email (see attached photo below) and submitted our insurance information, which I am sure you are using to steal insurance money from us. Youre sitting here pointing fingers at everyone else and replying to all the negative reviews, when theyre just stating the facts. Its disrespectful to the field of healthcare that you have a license. You are literally insane and its scary to think you are in charge of the health and well being of others.

I should have read the other reviews before making an appointment with this office. The other negative reviews are spot on. The person taking the tests is rude and condescending. After my test, I never received my results and Im not sure they were even sent for testing. I received an electronic bill for testing services and that was never submitted to my insurance provider. When I called to dispute the claim, the person on the phone was very disrespectful and said it was my responsibility to call the insurance company to dispute the charge. I am still dealing with this claim from the so-called testing done back in December 2020. Do not go to this office for anything. I will be filling an official complaint in the hopes that no one else has to go through a similar incident.

I was just going to leave it 1 star with no comment but since this owner had the nerve to put up condescending comment instead of trying to find out and fix the problem, ill share why. 1st of all the people that answers the phone are rude and patronizing. No customer service whatsoever. Be prepared to talk as if youre in the ghetto. They way the owner responds to google comments will validate that point.They just want your money and thats it. They will swab you and thats the end of what they offer. No follow up, nothing. you wont even know if they really sent the specimen since your test wont come back as they had promised on their website (2-3 days) dont fall for that, it will take 2 weeks or never at all. They will assume you dont read their instruction on how to get tested and how to receive your results, when they are obviously very unorganized.UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED, UNRELIABLE.

The nurse practitioner was professional and did her best to handle multiple clients simultaneously for Covid-19 testing, but there was no formal queue for appointments, and I had to politely flag her down a couple times before getting the test. Results from Quest didnt show up until 11 days later. YMMV, but if youre counting on a quick test result, there may be better options.

I came there for a covid test and it was handled perfectly, when I showed up I had to fill out some forms and was tested in a timely manner and sent on my way. The results were easy to obtain after the appointment, no need to call the office.

I had an urgent need for Covid 19 testing. I was referred to this clinic rather late on Saturday. I called about 4.30pm and was asked to arrive before 5pm closing. Filling the forms online took some my time. I called few minutes before 5pm that I will be running late and requested to be accommodated and it was accepted. I eventually arrived 5.20pm expecting to be turned back but I was courteously and warmly welcomed. In a minute I have my test done done and out of the door. The staff is highly organized and very professional too.

Someone needs to look into this office ASAP... she’s not sending out test results in the right amount of time for results to come back accurately she’s arguing with patients and avoiding giving anyone real answers...Unfortunately a former employee was a whistle blower for Howard county and she’s going to be shut down for many health violations as well as not treating employees properlyIf you been tested here your best bet is to go get retested somewhere else. No doctor works here.

My Great niece (age 4)had a COVID test done 2 weeks. No results yet. Spoke with 2 different employees to get information of what Labs they use. None of the labs had her results. They emailed my niece someone else test results. That had the person name & DOB. The employees are very unprofessional. They need help.

This place puts out patient sensitive information on response to google review. You are getting reported for putting sensitive information out there. This place is a joke hence why there rating are getting lower and lower. When someone had a good experience they tell 1 person. When someone had a bad experience they tell ten people. The fact that this place has to respond to every single bad review should tell you something. They should take the bad reviews and change because clearly the customer/patients are not happy.

Do not get a COVID test done from this location. I was charged for the test and well as a “in patient visit” conducted by Mercy Ijoma, I never saw this provider at any point in time during my “drive-thru” testing. She fraudulently bills her beneficiaries and is taking advantage of the Public Health Emergency. I advise you to check your claims sent to your insurance and dispute the claim accordingly. I tried to rectify this situation with Mercy and she screamed/verbally abused me over the phone with her own personal phone number. If you’ve experienced this type of behavior from this provider or have also been billed fraudulent claims- you can fill out a complaint form to the Maryland Nursing Board for a formal investigation. You can also contact the MD Health Department/CDC/HHS to look into this provider. This unprofessionalism does not need to continue and should not be tolerated by beneficiaries.

I come here a few days a week to test. I drive 2 hours each way. I do this because I know first hand what this business owner has done for others that doesnt get posted on Google Review. This service performed is not mandated. Many PCPs refer their patients out for this service. We do not have control over anyones results or the time it takes for the return. We are also given a window of time , if that window isnt met. The labs have representatives to address those issues. People, we forget in this scary time.... that we all have the same goal. Keep each other healthy. Do what we can do for each other. This business owner is stressed and tired and misses her family as she is testing you so you can be with your family. My children, didnt Christmas on Christmas day... I was there testing a very grateful crowd. Spread appreciation and kindness. Love your neighbor. We are doing this because we care about the health of others . Im sending peace to all of you who felt such negativity from your experience. Good Day

I came here to get a covid test and ended up leaving without getting tested. The whole process seemed very unreliable. Before I got to my appointment I had filled out the appropriate forms online, and did not submit a picture of my insurance card because it was optional. Upon arrival, you are to take a lab slip from a clipboard on the outside of the building. Below the lab slips I noticed open boxes of covid tests that, I’m assuming, are already completed. To me, that was a red flag. Those were wide open cardboard boxes that were not secured and just sitting outside. After completing the form I called the office from my car. The entire time I was on the phone the person was talking to someone else. I was told to email a picture of my insurance card to an email address that was rambled off with lightening speed and no confirmation and then a hang up. I emailed my information to the email I found online, called back like I was told but then was told “I thought I told you it was [email protected]”. Upon that snarky response I said “do you spell that with an I or a Y?” Didn’t think this was that horrible of a question, but I got a nasty response of “ugh Y” and then a hang up. Eventually my email was received, and I saw the nurse come outside and look right at my car. I then got an email, not a phone call, that said “I came out and did not see you”. (I had told them my car make and color). I then responded to the email stating exactly where I was. Upon waiting I came into Google and read the reviews and decided that I did not even want to waste my time with this place any more. This place is completely unprofessional and unreliable.UPDATE 12/21 I received an email from Family Health Connections stating “Karen, remove the false review you left on google or I’ll see you in court.” Professional.

My girlfriend went to get tested and everyone at the office that she spoke with was extremely rude, even hung up on her after quickly saying an email address that was not understood. She then called back to say she emailed to the address on the website to then be reprimanded that that was not the correct email address. The service was so horrible that she then just left to go to another testing site. I would not recommend getting tested at this location. During a time like this, customer service and a friendly face can go a long way, and this place does not have that. I would give a 0 star if possible.

Christine is so nice and professional! I wish her all the best. But Mercy, the Nigerian one, is unpleasant and unprofessional. I called to see what happened to COVID results, and after being put on hold several times and being disconnected a couple times, Mercy SHREIKED at me that my constant calling was harassment and that she would call the cops on me? So rude! As a patient just looking for an explanation, this was HORRIBLE customer service. Calls go two ways and I have my records. Her threats posted online can be used against her. I do not recommend her services. It is sad to see all the other negative reviews and the rude retorts in response, to me and so many others. I am also Nigerian and this is very disappointing. I pray she gets help, with the office and herself.

When I had a last minute schedule change, they were understanding and accommodating. The tech who took the swabs was kind, but, in general, the office is most inefficient, and the owner is a fruitcake who cannot string two sentences together properly (just look at her unprofessional responses to the other reviews). It should not take over a week to receive COVID-19 results because most places like AllCare and Righttime process the tests within a few days and promptly notify the patients; the staff here appear ill-equipped to answer the most simplest questions. This is a completely useless facility.

Would give zero rating if possible.Made an appt for 7:05 on Saturday for covid testing. Arrived early. Note on door said to go to car and call. Called for an hour and no one answered. During time me and others who were waiting went to office, door was locked and no one answered the knocks.My wife went two days prior and staff was rude and concerns on staff keeping testing supplies from be contaminated.

I would not go here for covid testing, Ive waited over a week for results and was basically told if you dont hear something you are probably negative. Most people I talk to are getting them back in a couple days. Not sure why here but they seem a little overwhelmed by demand right now.

I came to your facility to take a covid-19 test on December 5th. I’ve been waiting to receive my results and still have not received them. I called the testing lab where you said you sent them but they have no records of receiving them. The doctor or nurse who’s in charge is very unprofessional. When I called the office the nurse or doctor would not let me ask questions. If you need to take a covid-19 I highly recommend that you find another facility to go to. If I could give this place a zero rating I would’ve.

I can only speak for my personal experience. I booked appointments for 7:40-8:00AM for COVID tests for myself and my family. On the day of our appointment it was raining very hard and I called the office on our way to see what the procedure was upon arrival and no one answered. I went into the building to find the office since their website does not list instructions for testing upon arrival. I found the office w/ a note to go back to the car and call. While reading the note I could hear the phone in the office ringing but it was clear no one was on on site. I went back to the car and continued to call the office to no avail. I went back to their website and found another number that I called, it was now around 8AM. It appeared to be a private cell-phone number and the woman who answered informed me then they cant do the testing because they do it outside and it was raining. She claimed to have called me earlier. I thought this might be possible since I had predominantly provided my home phone number but my landline provider forwards calls to my cell. As we were driving away, I received a forwarded call from the same cell-phone number I had just called to my home number, she did not realize I had just talked to her and was letting me know that they couldnt do the testing because of the rain and we could just come back when it wasnt. I got home and checked my call records with my phone provider and she not called us until 8:08AM, about 30 mins after our first scheduled appointment. We dont plan on going back.

Dr. Ijoma did a great job with my COVID 19 test. Her process was quick, effective, and simple. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Dr. Ijoma managed to make what would have been a dreadful appointment into a manageable one. Would highly recommend.

11/18/2020this office is very unprofessional and the service was horrible I took a covid test on friday the 13th and am still awaiting results which I was told would be back in 24 hours. I called today because its 4 days later and the NP told me to call the lab and when I called the lab the representative stated that they only give result to the doctors office, so I called back to FHC and the NP told me if I stop calling she could find my results mind you she did not even know to whom she was speaking. I will never ever go here again. quality health care is not here.12-01-2020Your response has just insulted me and has me shaking my head, there were 2 of us testing I stated, “We were told by your staff the results would be back in 24 hours”. We were never informed to download any app to retrieve results and upon calling and speaking with the nurse practitioner, she stated “if I stop calling she could find my results” without even knowing to whom she was speaking. So, to respond and not know what we were told only assuming really makes you appear more unprofessional. Prior to this conversation when I called and spoke to your office Tech. I was provided a number to contact the lab. Upon calling the lab I was informed that the results were submitted to the clinic on Saturday the 14th and they were not permitted to provide me with my results but would happy to re-fax to clinic now in order for me to retrieve them. I have had several conversations with you or a representative from your clinic and each time the response given and the tone in which it was in was highly unprofessional. I did not have a good experience with Family Health Connections.They were listed as a nearby COVID-19 testing site on the Howard County COVID-19 resource page.I booked an appointment online, filled out the required forms online, and received timely emails to confirm my appointment.There werent any instructions or information in the emails about the location of Family Health Connections within the office. Once I was able to find the door to their office, I saw a sign stating that all folks coming in for COVID tests should wait in their cars and call the office. This information wouldve been nice to know had they included it in the previous emails.I went back to my car and called about four times before someone finally picked up. She asked me if I had included photos of my insurance card in the forms online, and I said no because that part of the form had been listed as optional. She told me they were required, and then she told me to hold. She then proceeded to yell at her coworker for 3-4 minutes while I was still on the phone. Then she put me on hold. A man picked up and talked me through what was going to happen next.Two ladies came out to the car for my test - one was training the other (which I was fine with). They handed me a ripped-out peice of notebook paper and asked me to write down my name and date of birth to make sure they got it right. Where the forms I filled out online not reliable?They told me my results would be ready by Thursday. I called and the same lady whom I spoke with previously said they would text/call me back with my results later that day. I didnt receive any texts or calls.I got my results from a different lady the next day.Overall I was not impressed with how this medical facility handled itself.

Dont use this place to get a COVID-19 TEST. I took the test early last Friday morning, but I havent heard from lab since 4 days passed. If it takes this long to get the test results, the test wont do much good.Add: Finally, I received the test results 17 days later.

One in which didnt receive my test, the other in which cannot discuss test results with a patient. Called the office back and after 3 attempts, I am then told that the testing results are not in.

This establishment lacks professionalism, respect and empathy! I am absolutely infuriated by the service my sister and her family received today as they attended their 9:30 a.m. appointment, to be tested for Covid as well as have a rapid test. The setup is confusing, and after many attempts to seek guidance my sister was yelled at, hung up on several times and even laughed at by her frustration to have her family tested and my 6 year old nephew. My sister was so upset, I had to drive there to calm her down. She was insulted by the staff and left there. This office needs to be shut down! Isnt it hard/scary enough for people during this pandemic.... they felt helpless. Please, find another establishment for you and your loved ones!
