I started with Mrs. Dickens at a terrible point in my life. I had been married for 20 years, and finally began to recognize that my wife and I had two completely different understandings of what we needed from each other. It took two years, (plus several events involving my eventual ex- wife) before I could honestly say that I am happy and proud of me.I have a lot to be proud of, but I had for all of my life, viewed myself through other peoples lenses without apppreciating that their view of me is based upon their experiences with someone else who had traummatized them. That (those) experience(s) caused them to set unrealistic or unobtainable expectations of me (and all of my potential). It was, however, based upon their traumatization that I wasnt apart of (nor did I know them when it occurred).Throughout my weekly therapy sessions, Mrs. Dickens continually reminded me that the trauma that I experienced 30+ years ago, does not define me today (although I lived in that fear of those traumas). I should not, therefore, negotiate my feelings and needs for other peoples fear of being hurt so that I can prove to them that I wont hurt them.I HIGHLY recommend her.

Terrible to decline a new patient without an explanation. I’m fine with choosing a different provider even though my insurance is excepted by you. No communication.

It is amazing the skills and Blessed help you can receive from such a wonderful Doctor. Dr Candice R. Dickens a great person and excellent Doctor. Would recommend her to any and everyone who may need her assistance.

Candice is very professional. She has every thing organized and the office is clean and always offers water and snacks...Candice know how to make you feel at home and relaxed..
