The absolute best company Ive ever delt with... Im planning to give the Hartford all of my insurance business. Thats from car to life and everything in between. Right now The Hartford is handling my short and long term disability claims quite well.

I recently made the mistake of hiring American Countertops AKA Express Countertops out of Hanover MD to fabricate and install two new quarts Countertops in our BRAND NEW KITCHEN.  They cut both tops wrong, damaged our Brand New Kitchen Aid Refrigerator door,  destroyed  our Brand new Custom made Sink Base Cabinet along with other damage throughout.  After speaking to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission,  they stated that their Liability Insurance is responsible for compensation who is The Hartford.  After giving them more than enough evidence that would even satisfy Judge Judy, they played a game with me for over six months just to DENY ALL MY CLAIMS. The Hartford is DISHONEST and they only protect their bottom line, their money. Not you. The Hartford blows.

DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!! I had term insurance for 19 years. To expire at 70. Well before my 55th Birthday they cancel for no reason. Well their reason was because they just didn’t want to carry the policy anymore!!! So 19 years of premiums for nothing! I called and wrote and filed complaint. To me this is ONE BIG PONZI SCHEME!! I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Hard, as I am in a different state but beware and read reviews on them. They are horrible! Thieves!!

Great company and friendly customer service. I wasted thousands of dollars when I was with PHLY insurance, which I had found these guys sooner. The Hartford has actually been helpful and took care of my small claim even though I had them for only a few months. Ill be a lifetime customer! Great deductible, great pricing and overall really good experience especially from the agent that handled my claim. I recommend you guys to everyone I know. thanks,

Very easy and pleasant to work with on phone

This is a sorry excuse of an insurance company. Im not a member of theirs, but I was involved in an accident with someone who is. She was at fault, she called them the same day of the accident. A week later they still havent taken a statement from her or myself, and Ive called them 6+ times. This awful customer service is appalling.
